I have been looking for a Mediterranean spot. Moved from CA where there was a good Mediterranean spots in our city. Here it has been a hit or miss and hard to come across. Been here twice and the food was wonderful. We had some Shawarma fries (our fav), chicken kabob plate (yum), hummus, tzatziki sauce to drown the chicken in, and spanakopita. The chicken was delicious cooked and seasoned well, I like to add tzatziki sauce. We haven't eaten in there it is a small place. With our heat and the heat from the kitchen it is a bit warm not sure what they can do to fix that. Difference on the experience depending on who is there. There is a young lady who is very sweet and service oriented. If we had any concerns she addressed them. Reasonably priced and I was told there are coupons that are sent in the mailer coupon things that are sent So I will open those now but give a bigger tip for the cook and young lady. Enjoy everyone! Chicken shawarma fries Chef's **kiss** One person rated the fries over seasoned you want ask to have them lightly seasoned.

What a travesty of a food establishment. Two of us walked in and ordered a Chicken gyro wrap, steak shawarma, fries, hummus, drinks, etc. there was one solitary, sad, 17-year old girl (at least that's how old she looked) all alone in the place. She quickly informed us that we couldn't order hummus because she was all alone and "that would take me 30 minutes to make..." so a middle-eastern restaurant where you can't order hummus. Got it. What emerged was an embarrassment. First off the chicken was burned, dry, and as tasteless as a bowl of newspaper. It had no salt, no spice, no flavor whatsoever. The rice (which I think we can all agree should be warm and fluffy at least) was a sea of hard, dry, little yellow pellets with less flavor than the aforementioned newspaper. It was so bland that it was like listening to a Pat Boone album while eating oatmeal. The fries were so overdone they were dark brown. To mask the badly-expired cooking oil, the fries were blanketed in this "seasoning" which was nothing more than cumin and paprika. But it was almost pure cumin. In fact, the fries had so much cumin, they smelled like the food court at Bombay International Airport. Just awful. The steak was absolutely void of any flavor except a bizarre spice which was so strong- and the meat so "gamey" that it was like eating a horse that had been rolled in some weird spice, then allowed to dry in the sun for a week. The only redeeming things in this meal were the warmPita bread (thank you, Mister Microwave) and the garlic sauce which at least gave everything SOME kind of flavor. Lastly, the baba ghanoush was yellow-colored and in thick, cold globs. There was no creaminess (where was the yogurt? The garlic? Salt?). It was dry and inedible and wayyyyyyy smokey. And for the privilege of eating this slop, I was charged $36.00! One of the worse meals Ive had in some time. First, the manager (who was nonexistent) should be fired for neglect and lack of staff and training. And then the owner should be hauled off to court and fined for serving this gruel. 1. You have no staff. The cash register girl should not be cooking, serving, cleaning, and handling money. 2. Food needs to be seasoned and cooked correctly. Charring food doesn't mask how bad it is. 3. Have hummus on hand when you open4. Change your fryer oil5. Rethink the freshness of your meats. That chicken was old and dried. The "beef" was worse. 6. Test your recipes and flavors. Ensure they're being followed by your teenaged staff7. Train your employees8. Take a course in food hospitality and customer service.9. Always have a manager on-siteI should have known based on my opening conversation. I told the girl it was my first time there. She didn't say a word. I then asked her plainly, "So is this place good?" With an inquisitive smile. "It depends on your opinion," she answered blankly and in a monotone voice. I. Should. Have. Known.

I thought to leave a good review for this little restaurant I have been going to for Greek food for quite some time. The food is so fresh and made to order and you if you love Greek food you definitely need to go here nothing fancy just fantastic food. Their chicken shawarma is probably the best chicken in town as far as Greek food goes. Grilled while you wait the meat is so tender and the grill marks are just fantastic. Oh and they give you a homemade creamy garlic to dip the chicken in or of course you get pita with it and you could put both in the pita. I got the platter which gives you the shawarma chicken yellow rice and a Greek salad very reasonable price too. This little place is such a gem. Staff is always quiet but friendly and the food is just so delicious. If you're looking for good Greek food in the Avondale Goodyear area go here you won't regret it.

Lately, I have been ordering the gyro plate for lunch. Comes with greek salad, lamb gyro, pita bread, rice and tzatziki sauce. Very tasty and a good value. Service is quick. Could use some decor, cleanliness, and music. Please heat up the pita bread!

Call ahead, today they were "out of rice" and it was a 25 minute wait even though the restaurant was empty. The children's high chairs all need a wipe down too. We were very excited to have dinner here, but it looked like the cashier didn't mind losing customers.

I ordered a gyro plate for myself and a gyro sandwich with a side of fries for my husband. As far as the gyro plate goes, I was really disappointed with the flavors. The gyro tasted good but the rice was not fully cooked as it was still hard and had a crunch to it. I could not finish it. I wasn't happy about the dressing that came with the salad it felt just really unauthentic to me so I didn't use it. The tzatziki lacked in flavor as well. It was just all really plain with the exception of the gyro meat. I won't be returning unfortunately.
