We had both been sick and we're finally getting our appetite back. We decided a trip to the Pita Cafe was warranted. One of the staff was rearranging chairs outside when we arrived. He nicely opened the door for us to enter to cafe. Their staff are the best. I started to try a different dish but was talked right back into my standard chicken shawarma pita order and a gyro pita to be different. I added baklava to the mix and was told it would be 5 minutes. In the meantime I had a cold glass of sparkling water while I waited. As always, they brought my take out to the area I was seated. Staff showed me how to identify the gyro from the shawarma. Very clever (see pix) as they wrote gyro on the styrofoam box with dotted lines below the word. Staff explained that was where I could find the gyro without having to unwrap it. If you look at the pix of the meals you'll see how chocked full of protein both are. They are very generous with their succulent meats. True to form, the pitas are absolutely delicious with moist tasty meats. We love these pitas and keep coming back. Forgot to mention that the baklava is flaky and dripping with honey. Yummy dessert. Shared parking spaces.

Always a five star review here at Pita Café! The chicken Shawarma is delicious. The hummus can't be beat. Topping it off with a gluten-free pita makes it complete.The service is always amazing here. No matter who is working!

WE LOVE YOU PITA CAFE!!! Absolutely the best Mediterranean food you'll ever have without having to go all the way to Greece. Best gyro, baba ghanoush, hummus, and pita bread I've ever had. And the service is just as amazing as the food.... EVERY single encounter I've had whether placing or picking up an order, I've felt like VIP. They are all so incredibly welcoming and helpful. I've never encountered another restaurant that expresses appreciation for your business the way they do here. It's basically the best of both worlds with the warmth of a local/family-owned place and the professionalism of a corporate restaurant. I've been craving another pita since my visit here! I needed a quick lunch and this was the perfect spot for just that. Pita cafe is pretty simple when it comes to decor and atmosphere, but the food is packed with flavor! This is a family owned business with multiple generations working. The love and care for the business, culture, and food did not go unnoticed. I ordered the spicy pita with chicken. It's complete with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, pepper, jalapenos, feta, and spicy tzatziki sauce. The pita was warm and everything tasted so fresh!!! It really blows all the pita chains out of the water in terms of flavor and freshness of ingredients. I got a slice of baklava on the side because #treatyoself and it was super delicious too! The only downside was that it was kept in the fridge, so it was a bit hard to cut. Can't wait to come back to Pita Cafe next time I'm in town and try more items on the menu!

This popped up as a hot restaurant to order from in Uber eats so decided to try it. It did taste good & we enjoyed the food there. Here is my take on different parameters:Food: Good taste especially the spicy gyros wrap, however, my wife's chicken shawarma wrap meat was not the most flavorful we have ever tried. Also, they loaded up a lot of sauce making the wrap very soggy when it arrived to us. With this experience I would give the food a 3/5 ratingAmbiance: We did home delivery so unable to comment on this category for this time but will update my review in case we visit the restaurant sometime in the future.Price: It is definitely a little above average range since both of the wraps were $10+. I had about 7 women over for Happy Hour and a 70th birthday celebration last night, and Joe at Pita Cafe went above and beyond for me! The food was fantastic and he was so kind in packaging it to make it easier for me to serve to the ladies. I've been a customer there since they opened; the food is consistently great, the prices are extremely reasonable and I want to thank them for taking good care of me and my group last night, May 16th, 2024! The dipitizer is fabulous if you love hummus and their Greek salad has the best dressing of anyone's. Pita's are always hot and fresh and I love the gyros and chicken schwarma!!! If you haven't been there, give it a try, at Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale Road in the Safeway Center!!!!!!!
