Parking is a little confusing. The food itself was very delicious though we had a two person combo deal we also had some of the fried pork and fried tofu as beginner appetizers. All items were delicious and definitely well made!Definitely a little bit more pricier than ideal but the Groupon definitely made a huge difference with being able to get a wide variety of items and getting to try a good amount on the menu! Drinks were delicious. They definitely did a wonderful job with preparing those, and having those have a good amount of flavor without being overly sweet or bitter. Overall, the ambience of the location is definitely very nice and has a welcoming feel to it. Very welcoming!Would only wish that they had a little bit more separation when they had larger parties because it can get a little loud, however otherwise it was a wonderful experience

I like this hot pot spot, especially when I'm craving Chinese BBQ skewers at the same time. It's a one-stop-shop for all my cravings. I recommend their lamb kebabs and grilled Chinese bread; they're authentically delicious! And if you're a seafood lover like me, their grilled scallops and oysters with garlic sauce on top are very good and worth a try! Now, let's talk about their hot pot. The golden chicken broth is one of my favorites here; it's rich with deep chicken flavor. The broth pairs well with veggies and noodles. I also highly recommend their lamb and beef combo. It's a decent amount for the price and presented beautifully with the circle next to the pot. It's enough for 2-3 people! If you're looking for an authentic Szechuan hot pot experience, I highly suggest trying the beef crunchy platter, featuring both black and white beef tripe. It's wonderfully crunchy, fresh, and pairs exceptionally well with the spicy broth!I also highly recommend their fried pork with spicy chili powder. It boasts a delightful crispiness and crunchiness, and the addition of chili powder make it to perfection!Sadly, I don't recommend the fish; it was a bit too fishy for my liking. But everything else has been great during my last couple of visits. The ambiance here is just lovely, with adorable Chinese decorations. And the self-serve sauce bar, with some options of appetizers and fruits, is a delightful touch! The staff are attentive, although I wish they could explain some items better to enhance the overall experience.

Great place for hot pot! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have back rooms you can reserve for karaoke with a minimum spend. They have a wide selection of meat, veggies, seafood and noodles. They also have non-alcoholic drinks like lemon tea, coconut water and alcoholic drinks like beer and sake.

I was able to offset the cost by buying the Groupon online!Additionally, I found the quality of some ingredients to be inconsistent. The Crispy Chicken is juicy and tender on the inside. The seasoning is just right - savory with a hint of spice that adds a delightful kick without overpowering the natural taste of the chicken. And the portion size is generous, perfect for sharing with friends or indulging in a satisfying solo snack. The complementary fruits seemed to be of lower quality. The strawberries and grapes were not sweet at all. This inconsistency affected the overall dining experience and left me feeling disappointed. As for the Black Tea Lemonade, it's a refreshing and sophisticated twist on a classic drink. The bold, robust flavor of the black tea is perfectly complemented by the tangy sweetness of the lemonade, creating a harmonious balance that's both invigorating and thirst-quenching. I got it during happy hour for $2.5 after 9pm

Great quality, fast service, and overall delicious hot pot! Very authentic and I would definitely come again. The place is a bit hard to find, it's inside of the Pacific Rim building and is to the right after you enter. Street parking was relatively easy but they have a parking garage for the building, too.

Mid sized hot pot restaurant in the Pacific Rim Center on the east side of Seattle Chinatown/International District. The space they are in used to be Szechuan fish place. The building has parking which is free for 2 hrs. Bright, interior with red and orange tones on the walls and furnishing. All the tables have a deep set hotpot stove in the middle. Went during the weekend but in the afternoon between lunch and dinner, so no waits for a table. You order off a tablet. Menu has English and Chinese. You can order a pot with up to 3 different soup bases. Got the usual hot pot ingredients, plus some appetizers and skewers on the menu. They also have some 2 and 4 person hotpot combos. We got the two person combo, so got two soup bases, a ring of meat, a vegetable tray, some meat and shrimp balls and a serving of udon noodles. That was like $65. Also got a seafood platter for around $29 and a serving of beef tripe. We got the chicken and pork stomach soup base, and the tomato soup base, and both were pretty flavorful, with the tomato soup having a heavier flavor. The ring of meat looks nice around the hotpot. Got a combination of lamb and beef, and the lamb was not gamey at all. Seafood platter has 4 big scallops, 4 mussels, 4 oysters, 4 large shrimp, and some slices of crispy grass carp, so a good serving of seafood for the price. They do charge $2.99 per person for the sauce bar. Sauce bar is not that big, but has the usual sauces. Also has some fruits, some marinated chicken feet, and two kinds of sweet desert soup. The sweet soup with the white cloud ear fungi tasted nice after the heavy flavors of the hotpot. The chicken feet could be a little softer.Overall the food was good. We ate everything we ordered and it was lunch + dinner for the day. Was like $100+ before tips, so towards the pricier side.

Pipa mountain hotpot is my go to for hotpot in Seattle. I used to go to Chengdu Memory, but ever since Pipa opened, its become my new favorite :)There usually isn't much of a wait and you can reserve a table for 6 or more. The ventilation has improved, so you don't smell like hotpot as much afterwards! It's also nice that there is parking in an indoor garage. Service is also good. For broth, I usually get the half and half - some of my favorites are the pipa traditional spicy, Chinese herbal soup, and pork bone soup. My go to orders are the grass carp fish (so crunchy and good), the shrimp paste, duck blood, beef tongue, veggie combo, frozen tofu, and noodles. The meat quality of the lamb/beef ring combo is inconsistent, as sometimes the meat breaks apart when cooking it.. but because it's so cheap ($22.99), it's pretty good. The side bar is also really good! They normally have side dishes varying from pig ear, wood ear mushroom, veggies, bean curd, fruit like watermelon, strawberries, grapes, and orange, and dessert like mung bean soup, purple rice, and snow fungus dessert soup. I really enjoy the dessert, as it's not overly sweet and very satisfying after hotpot. If you are looking for good hotpot in Seattle, I'd definitely recommend Pipa mountain hotpot!!

Pipa Mountain Hot Pot is a cozy little restaurant tucked away in a charming corner of the city. Stepping inside, I was immediately enveloped in warmth - both from the inviting decor and the promise of some serious culinary satisfaction. As a bit of a foodie, I was eager to dive into their hot pot offerings. The star attractions did not disappoint. The beef omasan was melt-in-your-mouth tender with deep, lingering flavors. The locally-sourced lamb embodied the essence of freshness in each tasty morsel. For pure decadence, the American wagyu beef was a total treat.Beyond the meats, the mushroom platter was an earthy delight and the fish cakes and crab sticks provided a nice crunch and delicate seafood flair. Tiny quail eggs added a fun, protein-packed element to the pot. With a diverse array of noodles to choose from, customization was a breeze. To wash it all down, the hot sake was a perfect pairing, complementing the richness of the broth. My only quibble was the popcorn chicken. While tasty overall, it was a tad too salty for my preferences. However, with so many standout dishes, it barely detracted from an otherwise delightful dining experience.A bit on the pricier side but the quality backs it up. With its cozy ambiance and array of mouthwatering hot pot offerings, Pipa Mountain Hot Pot is a destination I would happily return to again and again. This foodie gives it a hearty recommendation!

It took a while to find this place because the sign does not call it Pipa. For my boyfriend's birthday dinner, we went here to celebrate. The bill added up quickly, but there was good variety and everything seemed fresh. We ended up getting too many things and took tons of leftovers back. The combo veggies, mushrooms, and tofu was too much towards the end of the meal and coming back, we'll probably repeat 2/3 of the order. The Groupon going on makes it a great bargain. For those having any doubts about the sauce bar, I say get it! For $3, it has some really tasty side dishes. I could eat the fungus salad and drink the sweet dessert soups all day. Their birthday song is fire by the way. All the staff gathered around, waving a sign and everything. We got it stuck in our heads for a while after. And park on the 3rd floor. The sign is small but it's a free 2 hr parking.
