Pioneer Coffee - North Bend

Loved the ambiance. Delish... pumpkin bread... smooth coffee...sweet feel... will be back!!

Great coffee and treats in a cute older building with plenty of cozy spots to sit. It's a good place to stop before or after some time spent in the nearby nature attractions. The peanut butter chocolate bar was.........delightful. I could go for one now in fact. I wasn't there for lunch, but could see they had quite a menu available and the bakery case was full of tasty treats I'd easily be tempted by if I were in the town longer.

White coffee, always a bonus. Service is OK. Ambience, it's okay. I love the local artwork, the shop is just small and a little crowded.

So glad we picked this place instead of all the competitors. Best coffee I have had since moving to Washington. Particularly good was the Pesto Motzarella...Croissant. A quaint little shop with outdoor seating. We'll be back.

Found this spot in North bend while visiting and thought of coming this am for a coffee and wanted to catch on work. The coffee shop is good with decor, seating and drinks- no complaints on that. But the barista, a lady is extremely rude. My partner and I came in and headed to get a spot as it was filled with people. We wanted to order after few people left as there wasn't any space to stand. After about 15 mins, thr barista walks up to us and says 'you'll have to order something to stay here'. We let her know we would be doing it, she was in a hurry, so couldn't add anything else. She came back again after 5 minutes only to tell us again to order, else we can't sit in here. My partner let her know that he'd taken a medicine and needs to wait for 45 mins to drink/eat anything. She replied sorry and left, only to be speaking about us to another customer in not so good way. We have never felt so uneasy in any coffee spot till now and have always always have had sweet baristas. We immediately got up to order only to avoid another call from her and were utterly upset the way Pioneer coffee incident happened to us.

Great place for coffee, Burritos, and deserts.Friendly waitresses.Good place to study orwork on your computer.Folks are friendly here.

Both the latte and the pumpkin bread I ordered were singularly delicious and well worth the money.Hubby loved his breakfast burrito, as well.Thanks for the recommendation, Jeanne!

Came in here on the way out of town to grab a coffee and some breakfast. Coffee was very smooth and the sandwich was just want was needed. The shop is also super cute. Lots of little things to look at and local products to buy.Staff were also very nice and patient with my indecision between heated and unheated sandwich. Ultimately it was nice to have it heated and it was a yummy sandwich. I'd definitely stop in if I'm in that area again.

The Pioneer Coffee sign is still above the door but when I presented a Pioneer Coffee of North Bend gift card I was told that this was a new company and that they would not accept the card. I was then told that they would be "happy" to cancel our order. Crappy customer service. OK they won't accept the card. Perhaps being nice about it would have left a better taste in our mouths (pun intended). Three customers that will never be back or say a nice thing about the business. Coffee was fair. Breakfast bagel was crispy. Scones, dry.

This is such a cozy place to have coffee and visit. We are from out of town but were so glad we found this spot! We will definitely be back when in town again.
