True rating would be 3.5/5 (rounded up) for this particular time...This is was my second time at Pintxo. First time was great (From service to food etc). However, this time was different... I was slightly disappointed. Not to say that we didn't enjoy our time or the food overall, but a couple of things worth sharing... Also love the ambiance and liveliness of this place.Ok so we were a party of 6..there for dinner and drinks at 7:45pm. I was the one to suggest the place to my friends who had never been to Pintxo before . Hoping that their experience would be a positive one and that they'd want to come back for more...but...I think the downside to our evening was our server. She seemed confused, not attentive and rushed us more than once. She even took our plates more than once without asking if we were done. I think she might be new... I get that we were there "late-ish" as the place closes at 9pm and she probably had a long day, maybe she just wanted her shift to end. But hey none of us appreciated how we were treated. It might be helpful for her to get some more training. After we paid the bill, which we had split 3 ways. She came back to the table and said she needed one of the receipts. I wasn't sure what all that was about since the payment was made (everything was good). Anyhow I just found it odd. The crisps for the labneh were almost "soggy" (for lack of a better description). It didn't seem like they were fresh. They weren't as crunchy as with the first time I had tried this dish. And the basque cheesecake (as delicious as it is) was a little on the runny side (again not like the first time I tried it). Must try: Almost sangria cocktail drink (that was a big hit on our table) The chorizo dates Fennel salad Despite our experience with the server, personally I'd come back again. Maybe when the weather gets warmer! Would love to sit on the patio and try a flight of wine! I have yet to try that. Great place to try if you haven't. I'm sure you'll find your favorite cocktail and tapas on the menu :)

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! After initially eating at Pintxo for the first time a week before, decided to return to try their paella which is only offered on Sundays, and we were not disappointed. After spending some time in Barcelona, Spain last fall, we had something to gauge the quality of the chicken and chorizo paella made by Chef Lauren Jackson and it was just like it was made in Spain. Fresh and authentic ingredients and cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful time which was made even more special with our server, Page who was not only attentive to our needs, but offered some wonderful suggestions for food and wine to help complete our meal.I guess we really didn't enjoy our experience at Pintxo because we ended up signing up for Valdemar's wine club that day where Will, the GM helped us make a super club selection. Looking forward to picking up our first wine club selections in a few weeks. It was a wonderful Sunday lunch and would highly recommend trying this new and exciting restaurant and wine bar. I know we are going to spread the word to our many friends who enjoy excellent food, wine and outstanding service.

It was our first time at Pintxo. We got the prix fixe menu and thought the food was flavorful and cooked well. Our favorites are the chorizo dates, charred octopus, and the cheesecake. The drinks are great as well. Our server was friendly, the pacing of the courses could be improved. The interiors are great, they have a good outdoor dining area as well.

We really wanted to love this place! Ambiance- 5/5. This place is great for a date night. If you are just grabbing drinks, come here.Service - 4/5. Everyone seems friendly. Nothing to complain.Food - 2/5. This is truly the sad part. We had wagyu carpaccio (1.5 stars; so thin and the sauce doesn't even go well.), Dungeness crab dish (1 star; the sauce was so over powering that you don't taste crabs at all.), lamb chop (1.5 stars; so thin and over cooked. Nothing unique about the taste) and Spanish octopus (3 stars; this was the only thing that was actually good. If you come here, just order 2 orders of this and drinks)Drinks - 3/5. Over priced, but that's what you expect. We were still hungry, but decided to go somewhere else since most of the food we ordered were not that great. We really wished that we loved this place, but we won't be coming back here for food for sure. But like I said, the ambiance is great, so we'd come back here for drinks.

Recommended by the manager from the winery we came from, we tried this place out for a light dinner. Located at the Schoolhouse District, there are ample parking underground (need to get validated). This place is a Tapas, Wine & Cocktail Bar. Tapas are small Spanish savory dishes good for sharing. If you're hungry and want the usual full size dinner, this is not the place for you.We didn't have reservation but arrived early enough that we were able to be seated. The tables are a mix of high and low tables. We got the high tables and was able to check out what others have ordered. :)For drinks, we had:- Definitely Not Sangria $14 - it was dangerously good! Dangerous because you can't taste the alcohol but it's there!- 2015 Reserva - Rioja; 85% tempranillo, 7% garnacha, 5% graciano, 3% maturana - I liked this wine, it went well with the dishes we had.Tapas:- Pintxo Moruno $16 - pork belly, mojo verde - If you don't mind the pork belly fat, you'd like this. Slow roasted and pan seared. Melts in your mouth goodness! Good for 2 people.- Roasted Fennel Salad $14 - harissa yogurt, Washington apple, gin oil fennel confit, marcona almonds. Another good dish. The harissa yogurt with the apple and almonds worked well with the fennel. This dish is surprisingly on the heavier side for us. I'd say this dish is good for 4 people.- Mussels + Sobrasada $21 - local mussels, sobrasada broth, sourdough. You'd probably think the broth is mild, but it highlighted the mussels. Good for 2-4 people just depends on how much mussels you'd want. :)- Pate $18 - chicken liver + duck fat, clarified thyme butter, tempranillo cherries, pan cristal. Another tasty dish...if you like liver. My companion can eat more of it. Good for at least 4 people.Service was awesome! From the host that greeted and seated us to our server who took our order, to the server who brought the kitchen and took the time to explain each dish -- how it was cooked, where it's sourced, etc. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends!

We love Valdemar wine but this was our first time visiting Pintxo since they opened. We absolutely love their food. As someone who spent time in Spain, these tapas are legit. The wine is impeccable. I did a flight and loved every glass. My partner had the olive oil martini and we highly recommend! So good. Service is outstanding. Jay is the nicest and always treats us amazingly. Our waiter was also fantastic. Our only complaint is that they sprayed cleaner as we were eating our food. Luckily, we were almost finished eating. Otherwise it would have ruined our meal. I could literally taste the spray in my mouth. Overall, definitely check out Pintxo next time you are in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Loved everything about our visit to Pintxo - delicious food, friendly staff and cozy ambience!! We had made a reservation for outdoor seating as we had our pup with us. They had heaters and blankets for us, which was a nice touch. Our pup enjoyed all the attention and treats she got from the staff. They have a sharing menu so we ordered a bunch of small plates - whipped labneh, octopus, croquettes and chorizo stuffed dates. Everything had a unique flavor and we enjoyed everything we ordered. I Would definitely recommend ordering the chorizo dates, I'm still thinking about it!! They have a well curated wine list and creative cocktails - I ordered the "definitely not sangria" which paired really well with the tapas we ordered. This place is an absolute gem and we will definitely come here next time we're in woodinville!

Visited early during a weekday and ordered the pre fixed menu for two, along with a bottle of their 2015 Rioja Reserva. Starting off with the whipped lebnah with house made potato chips, the salmon roe seemed a bit odd, but the citrusy lemon zest complements the thick lebnah well. The chorizo dates were good and the picquillo gravy was wonderfully flavorful. Roasted fennel salad made use mainly of the heart, which was surprising, but the flavor was nicely subdued and not overbearing. Patatas brava had a smoked yogurt which was quite uniquely delicious. For me the charred octopus was the star of the menu! Charred skin with perfectly cooked meat and chorizo aioli. Lastly, we were given the choice of the usual Basque cheesecake, or one made with blue cheese. We went with the blue cheese, of course. Such a daring choice! The consistency was not overly thick and the blue cheese flavor was notably subtle and appeared towards the end. What an experience. Our server was very patient and pointed out suggestions for wines. Very friendly and accessible. He even asked about our parking situation, as to assist with validation, if needed. So thoughtful. While there is a small bar in the middle of the restaurant, most of the space is taken up by tables seating 2 to 4. Couple of the walls are clear windowed garage door type, which should make for nice access to the patio seating during the warmer weather times. No, this is nothing like the pintxos experience at say like San Sebastian, but it's nice to even have this available.

Absolutely love this place, especially for happy hour. Amazing prices on appetizers ($4.50-$8.00) and drinks ($4.00-$7.50). We sat out on the patio, which was peaceful and cozy, and we enjoyed the bread and butter, whipped labneh and patatas bravas (not pictured) and each were delicious. We also loved both of the happy hour wine pours, 2022 Columbia Valley Roussanne and 2015 Reserva. On top of yummy (and affordable) food and drinks, the service is always on point. The server explained each dish to us and checked in frequently. And they validate parking for the nearby garage. Highly recommend this spot!
