Pinto's Pizza Cones

I have to say, these cones are surely quite creative! I ran into Pinto's at Helix Brewery, just in time for dinner, and ordered the Combo #5 cone, which was similar to the "Works" pizza for $8.99.The combo cone came with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, red onions, a red sauce, and a lot of mozzarella cheese. It certainly came loaded but they need to find a way to more evenly distribute the ingredients.For example, most of the proteins and vegetables were towards the bottom of the cone, and most of the cheese was on the top of the cone. As a result, the first few bites were mostly cheese with some sauce and a few toppings. If they can fix so that you can almost get a taste of every ingredients in each bite, that would be just grand.Everything tasted great, although I did feel that the cone needed more pepperoni, it taste like I was eating a pizza. The cone could also use a little work. It tasted fine, but its texture was a little inconsistent. Some places were crisp, then soft, the unfortunately a little rubbery in a few spots. Perfecting this would be nice.The staff inside the truck were certainly a friendly bunch. I liked their enthusiasm towards their business.

Is this a food truck? We rode bikes all around the area.. never could find it? No one in the neighborhood seemed to know either? It was a Thursday night this past June

I've never had a pizza cone before, but this was totally worth checking out. For something that looks pretty small it nearly filled me up for dinner, and it tasted pretty good too. My only problem with it is how messy/difficult to eat it is, but since it's pizza in a cone I think that's the point. Definitely worth giving this food truck a shot!

Truck broke down so it took half an hour to get my cone. Which had pepperoni in it. I ordered the vegetarian. Won't be going back.

I've never had a pizza cone and was super stoked! Unfortunately it did fall a little short of expectation....The pizza cone we got was completely white on the outside (didn't have a nice browning like in the photos posted) and was a bit pasty. It was also definitely a bit small- I would say it was about the size of a slightly large pizza slice, and for $9, was just not worth it for me. The filling was definitely tasty, but for nine dollars I can get like 3 large slices of pizza somewhere else....

Yummy! It's delicious pizza and toppings in a cone crust. It's delicious and filling. You can get a regular cone for about 9 bucks, or go up to a large for 3 bucks more (which I recommend). They have pepperoni, sausage, ham, buffalo chicken and veggies.Their cones have fun names like "a little pep in your step" for the pepperoni pizza cone or "combo #5" (with veggies and meat) and "did I tell ya I'm vegetarian?" which is veggies cheese and sauce only.I waited less than 5 minutes after ordering our pizza cones. They are gonna have pizza tater tots soon! Can't wait to come back and try!Highly recommend trying pinto's pizza cones. They put their schedule on their Instagram so it's easy to find where they are gonna be next.

Very unique and very delicious! We were at Helix Brewing last week, and enjoyed a buffalo pizza cone, and a meat lovers pizza cone. I was very surprised that just one filled me up, and absolutely great drunk munchie food! I felt compelled to write a review because it seems like they need more of the attention that they deserve. Hope to see Pintos Pizza Cones around town more often!

Cone was crispy and filled to the top with yummy pep and gooey cheese! Can't wait to run into this delicious food truck again. Marie and Grant are awesome as well!

Friendly workers and TASTY pizza! I was really surprised that it was loaded to the very bottom of the cone and also that the tip of the cone was still crispy when I got down to it. They really have their pizza crust cone mastered.Pretty cool twist on a popular food item.
