Pinto Thai Bistro

We cannot recommend Pinto enough! I have a newly developed wheat allergy and my boyfriend has a seafood allergy. We have never had someone listen so well to our needs and be so friendly with requests. The food was so fresh and tastes amazing! It was ready really fast too! I don't know what took us so long to try but we will DEFINITELY be here more often! 100% recommend.

The staff here is so nice! We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was relatively empty. Small in this random plaza. As soon as we came in, the server was very friendly and sat us immediately. It had a quaint diner feel and small but cozy.We ordered a basil thai noodle and a fried rice and both were delicious. The service was quick, bathrooms were clean, and food was solid.

A small, cute thai restaurant in the Tierrasanta area. Service was excellent, staff was attentive and pleasant.I only ordered the glass noodle soup with chicken, mild spicy and it had a nice kick to it. I def enjoyed it. Unfortunately my friend and I were in a rush but i will def come back here to try other items on the menu.

My family and I enjoyed our entrees in this adorable small restaurant. Service was excellent, food was delicious. I love the pad thai! They are located right next to Round table pizza. We will definitely return or order take out from here again!

Such a cute restaurant in Tierrasanta! The interior is nicely decorated but definitely small so may not be the best place for a large party. We got pad thai, see ewe noodles, and cheesy crabs- it was all delicious! The wait staff was really attentive and we got our food quickly.

I've only tried one lunch special here and it was the chicken pad Thai. You have a choice of ordering it no spice, mild, medium, and spicy. I ordered mild. It had a good little kick...perfect. Flavors were delicious. The lunch plate came with salad and two small fried veggie egg rolls. I asked if I could sub soup for the salad. It was a vegetable soup in a weak, tasteless broth. Won't order that again. The egg rolls and pad Thai were excellent. Service was friendly. Very small dining room. Next time, would rather order food to go instead of eat there. Hard to have a conversation with the tables so close to each other. Will definitely return.

Been here a couple times now and I love it! It's a small little thai restaurant in Tierrasanta. They have a couple tables (around 4-5). There's never a wait when I come, but it's definitely underrated. It's my go-to thai restaurant.The service here is amazing. The staff is all super nice. They constantly check up on you and are very accommodating.The food here is great as well. The spice level is on a scale from 1-10 and it is strong so be careful for what you ask for!Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend.

I love this place! The food is sooooo good! Very high quality ingredients, you can tell just by the taste. I've been to so many Thai restaurants, because it's one of my favorite foods. This place isn't even near my house but I will go out the way just to come here. It's also great because the service is quick. I've never had to wait long for my food or a refill. Highly recommend!

Super quick and friendly service. Great portion size with fresh and great food! We had it for pick up to go so did not eat inside but it has a nice intimate dining room with light music and the delicious smell of cooking food! Will be back soon to try more dishes but can definitely recommend the Thai fried rice and the Pad Thai as well!

Used to eat at this restaurant often when we lived in Tierrasanta. The quality and taste went down before my husband and I moved out of Tierrasanta. We love Thai food and recently moved back to Tierrasanta and thought we would try Pinto Thai Bistro again. Big mistake. We ordered 3 dishes and it was tasteless and my eggplant dish was greasy. There are so many good Thai restaurants in San Diego and this is not one of them. With food being as expensive as it is now, you can't afford to spend money on mediocre food.
