This place is an absolute gem. It's such an enthralling and immersive experience, that you could easily find yourself spending hours on end going from stall to stall and vendor to vendor interacting with the staff and asking various questions regarding their product. What makes this place a true and stellar standout is the friendly staff. I was acknowledged by everyone I encountered. Seattle has a very welcoming, inviting, and charming energy/vibe. From the fish throwing that we heard so much about and had a chance to witness, to the kind customer service that I received specifically from Yori, it was good vibes right from the start. He was kind, receptive, professional, and truly seemed to care about my shopping experience. I was eyeing the display of the impressive array of smoked king and sockeye salmon, scallops, and alderwood smoked salmon and smoked salmon candy jerky. Yori engaged with my Mom and me in delightful conversation and answered questions about the differences between copper river, king, and sockeye salmon and even mentioned that they ship their product fresh on ice nationwide. He proceeded to open the display case and hand me a few types of salmon for sampling followed by a scallop. This was very much appreciated. There is a noticeable difference between the Atlantic Salmon you get in the lower 48 and the Alaskan Salmon. I prefer the king and sockeye variety. I live in a suburb 25 miles North of Dallas, Texas, so Alaskan salmon is not something that is easily available (or maybe it is, but I'm just not going to the right places). I am glad this service exists so I can continue to order from here and take a piece of Seattle and Alaska home with me. My Mom and I will definitely return on our next visit.

This place is just ridiculous! Six floors of vendors, food, flowers, arts and crafts, all sorts of things! You could spend the entire day here, and not see everything. I had to buy some crab to get shipped home!OMG that Bairdi crab we received today, on time, was remarkably the best crab we've had in a long time. Defrosted and steamed for 7 minutes, it turned out amazing. We could not believe how delicious it was. WOWEE KAZOWEE!

If I could give them 6 stars or more, I would!!! The customer service is out of this world. The seafood is fresh and tastes amazing. They have any and everything you could possibly want. Everything is packed heavily on ice although the temps are cold here they're serious about their sanitation and packaging. The prices are reasonable. The inventory is plentiful! They make the customers feel valued and you want to spend your money here. The crowd is packed alll the time and I appreciated being a part of the fish throwing show. I loved it! As long as I'm able, I'll keep coming back each year to this market and making this an annual trip to Seattle just to visit this market. It's unlike any I've ever been to. Customer service is priority here. Great ambiance and atmosphere!

This place is one of many fish stands in the marketplace however it stands out by the show effect: they throw fish, entertain tourists and scream catch phrases. I had read on Yelp about their oyster shooters so decided to go try one. The staff was beyond friendly!! The shooter was delicious and after they cleaned and wrapped the souvenir glass for me. Yum! The shooter has 2 oysters in a cocktail sauce.

So much fun, so much to see and do and to watch the fishmongers in action was great! Loved the flowers, food, restaurants, handcrafted jewelry, and handcrafted items. Love Sam Kuo, from Shin-ping Asai import. The flowers are some of the best I have seen in the world..I WOULD RECOMMEND

Nothing like i had imagined but so super cool. we spent 3 pre cruise days in Seattle and stopped by Pike Place twice.loved all the cute shops in the space and had to stop and watch the fish be thrown. ate at Beecher's cheese & an Asian spot on the 2nd visit. i need to do more research before i visit again b/c it's more massive than i had imagined. it was very crowded when we were here...i wonder if there is a better time of year to visit.

Great customer service. This is the world famous place that throws the fish when someone purchases one. Large crowds record this. I was standing next to guy that catches, fin hit the top of my head wow. Purchased some fresh wild King salmon and fresh tuna. Will be shipped day after we get home and it was. Spent a small fortune. Two oyster shooters in cocktail sauce for $5, massive oysters. A few booths down 1 oyster shooter for $5.
