Cool bar that was hard to find. It's marked on the outside, but you kind of walk through a kitchen then into the quaint little bar. You enter the bar from Central Ave just south of the hot dog place. There were about 8 of us and some weren't drinking and it had a nice mix of cocktails and mocktails. I had the Mezcal Cocktail (I can't remember the name) and it was delicious. We stayed about 45 mins or so and enjoyed the back corner booth. Service was great as he kept checking on us. It was fairly busy, but not overly packed on a Friday night. We walked right in and got the last table.I'd go again and try some more unique cocktails. Fun spot!

Decided to try this place on a Friday night.. and it was just meh.. Wasn't as hard to find as people have mentioned. The outdoor doors have Pigtails written directly across them, you just walk into part of the kitchen and I can see how that could be confusing. Host was super kind and asked if the bar was sufficient and took us to our seats. The plant wall cool and lighting was dark. Our bartender was a woman, not even sure she introduced herself vs just asking what we wanted. Suggestions would have been nice but she didn't ask if we had been before and we didn't say anything.. so those silent expectations lacked across the board.. ha! Ultimately she took our drink and food order but seemed unimpressed by us and failed to talk to us again until we asked for our check. I think the food menu is super random. We ultimately settled for oysters and nachos. Oysters were mediocre but the nachos were FULL of flavor and something I would recommend. The drinks were just average for the value. And since we have so many options in the valley that this one doesn't look like a repeat for us at the moment.

This is a great downtown Phoenix speakeasy. You know you're there when you see the a-frame sign with a pig drawn on it--no words, just the pig--on the sidewalk out front. Just go through the little room with the kitchen counter, and through the door. It's a great atmosphere, dark and cozy. There are tables along the wall and a larger booth in the corner. The bar walls have plants on either side of the shelves, which I love the look of. At the top of the liquor shelves is a pigs head. I can't decide if it's creepy or not--he is a little scary. We did not order food this time, but we have ordered the nachos before. They are gigantic--enough for us to share and not need dinner afterward. The cocktails are great, and the mixologists are very talented. Hubs ordered the mystery punch. He was daring and it paid off. It was delicious! We love sitting at the bar where we can see the bartenders doing their thing.

Such a cute speakeasy in downtown Phoenix. When you walk in you go through a little kitchen, true speakeasy fashion. The menu is limited but has a cocktail for everyone. The service was very friendly. Great date spot!

Despite being a cool little spot, Pigtails can be deceiving with its waitlist, especially for our second visit. I added our name to the list and was advised that the wait was about 25 minutes. Upon observing others being seated, my husband inquired about our wait and was informed it would still be 40 minutes. He questioned the hostess and made it known that I was told about 25. She responded by denying that she would never have told us that. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we were eventually able to get a table. Overall in the end the drinks were tasty and the service was fast equaling a decent experience !

Cute little spot! It's beautiful when you get past being confused by walking into the kitchen basically lol their menu is small but there are lots of great options to choose from. The staff was really nice and service was good. My friend and I were really bouncing from place to place trying out things so we only had one drink each here. The drink was good. I got the started from the bottom and I cannot remember what she got. Both were delicious though.

if you're looking for a quiet but vibrant bar I recommend checking out this cute little speakeasy!I love taking friends here, with its secret entrance, phenomenal staff and delicious cocktails it's a must-visit! I always love trying new cocktails here, the Bone Apple Tea was a super fun apple rum drink I've never tasted the like of. I will say, the only downside is their limited food menu. I wouldn't dock stars for it since it's a busy bar and I get not wanting to slow things down by serving a full menu but, be prepared. I'd suggest eating before hand or planning on somewhere else for nosh. They do offer oysters for $3.50 which is nice along with a food special. Last visit was humus and naan which we passed on but we tried their bbq pork sliders a couple months back and they were fantastic!

What appears to be a kitchen front is actually a great speakeasy cocktail bar in downtown Phoenix. Beautiful decor, clean, and great service. We went on a Saturday night for a quick drink before dinner reservations and we were easily able to get seated right away. We ordered the knotty by nature to munch on and it was a delicious pretzel appetizer. Comes with cheese sauce, marinara, mustard, and charred jalapeños. The pretzels were warm, soft, and really good flavor. Not too salty. Cocktails were good. Even though I only got 0% proof options, my friends and I enjoyed our drinks. I really like how the menu has them separated by categories to make the selection process easier for your taste.

I love this place. We went with friends who've been there before, thankfully! Nondescript door, next to a Cuban restaurant with a small chalkboard with a pig drawn on it. Enter. You will be greeted by a guy washing dishes? He welcomes you and tells you to go on in. Once your eyes adjust to the low light, you will be amazed. Full living wall behind the bar and very nice bartenders. Tell the bartender what you like and they will make it for you. I told him I liked Manhattan's and not very sweet. He concocted an amazing cocktail with whiskey, several different kinds of bitters and I'm not sure what else. It was sooo good, I had two.My friend had a spicy margarita, not too sweet and she said it was amazing. Hubs and hers had craft beers and they really liked them. Pigtails has food. The oysters are so fresh and good (for a landlocked state) and the Fun-guy flat bread was fabulous. When you leave, the door has a sign that reads "employees only". I don't think you'll want to leave anyway. Cheers!!
