Pied Piper Tavern

Nothing special about this place. Standard dive bar. Some of the staff was nice on the days I went. Some not so friendly (not mean). Decent drink selection. Didn't try the food. I'd go back for a drink or two.

This is a nice little neighborhood bar that does everything right. From the staff that is always making sure you have a full glass to how they treat everyone like family . You are only a stranger once and the drinks are amazing . I have to try the food special next time

Just walking into this place it seems like it's really small. Just a bar area with a table and shuffleboard. I could tell by the volume though, that there was most certainly another area some where. The back area yields a TON more space, packed with people there for karaoke. Definitely a spot with a ton of regular clientele! All and all it's a fun little dive bar where Kent residents come to hang out and be part of their community.

We had to play at Pied Piper for our dart league - I've seen this bar a few times, but it's always seemed a little sketchy to me. I'm glad to report that is indeed not sketchy and is actually a lot bigger than it appears from the outside!There's a main front area with traditional bar seating and access to the bartenders, but if you go towards the back there's tons more seating and five or six dart boards lined up. It was pretty good sized (in my opinion) and the bartender we had for the night was super nice.Try the cheesy bacon tater tots... They're amazing! Only downfall as far as their menu goes is that they don't offer Blue Moon. :(

This place is my go-to karaoke bar. The grouchy old woman I mentioned before, is actually pretty cool and knows me by name. I only come here maybe once a month, and only on Friday's for karaoke, but it still feels like home every time I step foot inside. Definitely recommend this place for local karaoke. The host is great - the singers are great, and there is often time EDVIS, the local Elvis impersonator. This old guy is rad and is dressed to the nines for Kent.

Used to come here all the time, our neighborhood bar, but now we are gouged for money. They charge to run my card, they charge for juice in my drink!!!! Really??? Juice in my drink is extra???? Unfortunately I am no longer a regular customer. The fees and charges are just too much. This is now our Now and then place, alcohol is the price point in a bar, mixers are mixers. Charging me for my mixer is over the top. I won't be coming to the Pied Piper Tavern for a long time

Love pied piper!! It's a little dive bar and the service was great! The bartender kept checking on us every few minutes. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it came with ALL the fixings! All the people are so nice and most were regulars.

Cadillac margaritas $14.75!! Nearby bars less than $10.00. Need I say more? Some of the pricing here is misguided irregardless of inflation.

Went here for the first time since all the restaurants were closed around us and I was super impressed. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. The environment was so clean we literally had conversations at the table about how clean it was. And as a women I was very impressed with how clean the bathroom was. I never post on yelp but I thought this place deserved a shout out.

YIKES. They watered that vodka down like the Russians in Chicago. Tasted like chlorine and lemon. That's a NOPE from me
