Picazzos Paradise Valley

My husband and I had lunch here today, and it was great!I really enjoyed the linguini with meatballs combo, and house salad...plentiful portions, fresh, and served piping hot. My husband had the sausage with pesto combo and ceasar salad, and he loved it.We were full, but just had to have the apple crisp with vanilla gelato for dessert...amazing!Alek G. was our server and he was excellent. The guys working here today were great...they came by our table a few times and made sure our sodas were refilled and asked if we were enjoying our meals.We are so happy with the food, service and ambience, that we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

In today for take out for our team lunch. Everyone decided on pizza. Since my coworker and I came to pick up the food we added Baked wings with carrots and ranch dressing. Yum! The associate who took our order, Javier, is very personable. He's quiet yet friendly. Very engaging conversation before the next guests arrived to be seated.I selected a Meaty Meaty pizza with Alfredo sauce. My other coworkers ordered: a Naples Margherita with olive oil & garlic and added ham, a Meaty Meaty and a Hot Honey Fig & Salami. The wings were baked a little too long. Everyone loved their pizza. I enjoyed mine. Half came home for dinner and my husband had a couple slices. He loved it and even commented it was better than a local pizzeria. We need one in Surprise.

I have friends who rave about this place and with good reason. Fresh food and delicious. A dear friend took me for my birthday and we split a large salad with apples. It was delicious and enough for seconds for both of us.The pizza we split was also very well made and had the perfect amount of toppings. Dessert consisted of a large pan baked cookie with dipping sauces. Uh, you have my attention! My only issue at that time was the air conditioner wasn't working. It got hot quickly. We survived it though with happy tummies and good memories made.

Delicious food and attentive service by all members of the staff. Food options for the average diet plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Highly recommended!

Nice little spot and vibe. The food was tasty. Definitely will be back. The service was prompt and the staff were very knowledgeable of the dishes served.

Picazzos was open for dine-in during my visit. They have a great happy hour with $5 wines. I love visiting Picasso's because of their outstanding vegan menu and their organic wine selection. The restaurant made me feel comfortable while dining in during the pandemic. They were seating tables in a manner that supported social distancing. The staff were all wearing masks and gloves. I felt safe.I did not take pictures of the food I was so hungry. But the vegan meatball appetizer with the added slaw was delicious. I also got the vegan chopped salad with spinach. The vegan ranch dressing was delicious.Overall great place for vegans and non-vegans!

The staff is SO NICE!My friend and I had a lovely meal on the patio.We ordered several things and everything was perfect.The one thing that stuck out more than the food (which was excellent) or the ambiance (which was very nice) was that the staff was exceptionally nice to everyone.I left that evening feeling wonderful!

Overall - the food wasn't bad. The pizza was good and the GV cheesecake was surprisingly delicious. The focaccia bread is not focaccia. Downfall of the evening: the service. The service needs quite a bit of help! We were hopeful, upon being sat, that our server was going to be good - he was friendly and eager to offer his thoughts when we asked him "this or that". But, that was the end of it. Our server never came back to our table, not once, during the night until it was time to give us the bill. And even then, it took him 10-15 minutes to come back and get our payment (and the restaurant wasn't even busy). During dinner, we got our entrees before we even got our appetizers (and only because we had to ask for them - would they have not come out at all then?) and getting beverage refills took forever - all handled by a different server each time. Again, the food (entrees and cheesecake) wasn't bad. It's a great place for gluten free and vegan food options. But it needs some help on being better with service. Oh, and the apple crisp dessert needs a lot more apples!

I love the white bean n kale soup! Yum. I seriously get enough of it!! Lots of good organic stuff here too
