Stopped in tonight for a late night dinner. And we wanted to try some new things we haven't tried yet. So we got the nachos and we got chicken and beef and wow there was a ton of meat on those nachos. My husband couldn't even finish it and he's a good eater. The fajita meat on the Nachos of course so tender. The chicken was really good too - the chicken was very soft. And you get a little guacamole and sour cream and pico de gallo. I got the enchiladas Rojas, so the red sauce on these enchiladas is spicy. I loved it because I like spicy. I got one chicken and one beef I think I like the beef more than the chicken but the chicken was good. The beef had chunks of their fajita meat. And of course you got rice and beans. You do have the complementary chips and salsa and they have this white dip that it's like a dill dip It's really good. I like to mix it with the red salsa. Dessert - we topped it off with a crème' brûlée which is always delicious. That is our favorite dessert. I'm not sure what flavor of the cream is but it has a butterscotch taste to it. Very goodGuys, if you have not tried Picante's, please go try them. They are just trying to get their anchor, and I would love to see them succeed.

Ordered chicken nachos & chicken quesadilla plate. The food was amazing. It's definitely a family restaurant but great for a friends meetup. I can't wait to go back for happy hour & enjoy the complimentary chips & dips (that taste like Casa Olé) again

I had tacos and a margarita on a Tuesday, which is happy hour all day. $3 tacos and $5 margaritas. Meat is soft and great flavor! I was surprised the salsa was spicy, which I also love!!

Came in for dinner and ordered the green chicken enchiladas.Honestly everything was just so watered down. The house salsa was bland, they serve the same type of white sauce that Chuy's does which told me just about everything I needed to know.Rice had too much water so when it came out hot and wet... the texture of it was mushy. The salsa verse on the enchiladas was also ver bland and I was instantly disappointed. The chicken, although moist, was diced and so when I tried to go for my first bite, the tortilla cannot sustain the chicken. I would suggest shredding the chicken. It would help in so many ways. The service was ok. The guys were constantly checking in our table; but when the time came that we needed something...it would take them a while. I was originally brought over my plate without silverware and when I asked for it...they forgot about it for a while.

have been 4 more times.....the staff seems to be new each time..... But the food and the service is still outstanding! Unfortunately we were there when that group screamed at the hostess......so sad.love this place!!

I was coming back to town one afternoon on 290 and decided to stop for some lunch. Yelp gave me a few suggestions based on my location, and one of them was Picante. I was looking for seafood, so this place seemed interesting. It is only been open for a few months, so it is not well known. Yet!As luck would have it, they had just prepared several dishes for a photo shoot for Uber Eats. So I had an opportunity to taste a few different items when they were done. Not knowing what to expect, I was amazed at how good they were! I even had a chance to chat with the chef, who is originally from Acapulco, Mexico. He was a very nice guy and happy to share his story and his delicious food. And I have to say, it was all outstanding!I have attached a photo of some of the dishes I tried. I won't bore you with reviews of all of them, but a couple were so good I feel compelled to mention them. Perhaps their signature dish, since it bares their name, is Pescato Picante. It has a fillet of white, flaky fish covered in a light orange cream sauce, served over a bed of rice and topped with 3 large, bacon wrapped shrimp. Everything about this dish was fantastic! I also got to try the Pescato Ahogato, which uses a similar type of fish, but with a light brown mushroom sauce. It was also delicious! Another one of their specialties is Mole sauce. They serve it over chicken or other meats. It is authentic and very good. The margarita I had to wash all the food down was also very good. Overall this was an delightful meal, and I will definitely be back to Pecante soon!

I hate to do this after giving them 5 star reviews two times already but this visit was terrible. Staff still very nice but we ordered the fajitas and there were 3 huge chunks of beef, not like the usual strips, and I thought they looked rare and after a minute I saw that they were bloody rare. I couldn't even look at them they were so rare and it's no wonder as huge as the hunks of meat were. Plus the shrimp wrapped inside the bacon was not done. Chicken was fine but neither the chicken nor the beef was as flavorful as our first visit and the beef wasn't as tender. Beans and rice were good. Our first visit, they gave El Tiempo a run for their money but this visit means I don't think I'll ever go back. I certainly wouldn't order fajitas again if I did. So disappointed.
