Tum Nak Thai

These folks have great food, wonderful service and a homey atmosphere. The food is very reasonably priced. I generally get 'Garlic vegetables' with chicken. At most Thai restaurants I order my food hot ... omg I had it 'hot' ( the spice level ) and thought my mouth was on fire. Tip: order 1 level down from your norm if you do Thai frequently. All that said , everything is tasty. My wife and I love going here ... we travel 40 minutes from the slums of SanTan Valley ( no Good Thai In Queen Creek whatsoever and I don't do takeout Thai ... Thai Chile to go - is a downer ) just to get 'good' Thai here.

We have made this our favorite drive to this Thai place . We found this place by chance and boy what a great find , we dig into our food so fast I forget to take pictures but tonight I made a point of it . Food portions are great ,enough to take home , so tasty, spicy levels on point ,and , really fast coming to our table . We always get hot/sour soup , and drunken noodles , but my husband changes his up . We ordered it medium hot on everything, not too hot to taste the food . Friendly staff , always welcoming, greeted right away , attentive to what's order . not overly large inside , we never had a problem waiting on a table . But then again we come at 4:30 when then open , sure busy later on .

I'm so happy to have discovered this Thai restaurant...excellent food, prompt and friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. I'll be a regular here now. Thank you!

Have been craving Tum Nak (it's been years since I've been). Tonight I got it out of my system in the worst way... Ordered by phone and it was quick and easy. Got masaman and green curries (rice is included, which is nice). The veggies are so delicious, but unfortunately the broth was extremely salty--not spicy, but overly salty. I definitely think this place has authentic recipes, so I was initially willing to pay a little bit more. However, the small portion sizes + the not-great curries changed my mind. Maybe it was an off-night for the chef, I don't know.

I arrived at Tum Nak Thai 7:47pm. I realized the online said they closed at 830pm, so i wanted to be sure i got there before they had some kitchen cuttoff time. Anyways, they were open, so i walked in. Other customers were seated, and so i waited for someone to speak with to be seated. No one in sight. I waited. And waited. And waited. 21 minutes later, staff appeared. Took some phone orders. Then, they looked at me. I asked if i could sit and order. She said, yes, what do you want to order. I asked if i should sit first. She said no. Then asked if i wanted takeout. I repeated myself, can i please sit down and eat? She said no. Do you want takeout?It took 25 minutes for me to experience being told they wouldn't serve me. I get places like to close kitchens a few minutes before close. But this was just plain rude. Refusing to appear ina 20 minute span, then, while other customers were seated, to tell someone to go away or order takeout. It was just too brutal. Do they have good food? Who knows.Are the people good to deal with? Doubt it.Is the experience good? Highly unlikely.A poor restaurant with a terrible perception that human beings may want to pay them money to enjoy their food.0 stars would be better rating.

This restaurant has fresh, hot, delicious food at an excellent price. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. They have killer lunch special at $8.95! Dinner is also amazing. Service is prompt and wonderful. I'd highly recommend!

Came here for impromptu lunch and was amazed . I had drunken noodles and the noodles were delicious, melt in your mouth tender with awesome light sauce . The fried tofu was so good, best I'd ever had and the dipping sauce was sweet so we added a bit of chili oil... perfect. My granddaughter had tofu soup which was huge serving and spicy !! I will be back

We came here for dinner on Sunday ( couple weeks ago) with party of 6. We didn't have a reservation, but I called 10 minutes upon our arrival and when we get there, our table was ready, very nice.Our food took longer than we expected which was a bit annoying when you are hungry, but the food itself was delicious.They seems very busy with takeout orders and maybe adding 1 more waiter/waitress will help the operation faster.Overall it was good, thank you!

Excellent customer service, the food had a good presentation, Pad Thai was just a little bit on the sweeter side but not bad. The chicken satay & Thai ice coffee were great.

Food wasn't good. Pad see ew was a mushy mess. I ordered a side of rice (thought it was jasmine but it wasn't) and it was hard and dry. Luckily I was only visiting AZ... much better Thai food on my side of town thank goodness. One thing to note was that was staff was very nice.
