What a fun experience. You'd think the no-photo-allowed concept would be a real bummer for someone who enjoys documenting everything like I do, but I liked the novelty of it. The room is very beautiful and the craft cocktails are tasty. Lots of attention to detail, and some very attentive staff. Still lots of photo ops possible in the entrance hallway, where photos are permitted. Do not miss the bathroom, possibly the most unique one in all of Phoenix!Easy to get seats on the spot on a Monday evening. You'd probably want a reservation on evenings that are a bit busier.

this speakeasy was the highlight of my trip! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a unique experience. The entrance is a clever nod to its prohibition-era roots, complete with a secret passageway disguised as a bear hunter's hideout. It adds an adventurous flair to the evening that's both thrilling and nostalgic.Once inside, the ambiance is pure magic. The dim lighting casts a warm, intimate glow over the room, perfect for cozying up with friends or a special someone. The decor is meticulously curated, blending vintage charm with modern sophistication.Drinks were a great experience and I loved that you have to lock your phones away before entering. They do not serve food but this is locked inside a restaurant if you did want to eat before or after. Great service if you haven't checked it out make sure to stop by. Made a reservation prior which is my preference and makes things easy.

Are "speakeasy's" and "hidden" bars passé? Perhaps the novelty of it is; but for the standouts.... What was once just an idea is now a strong concept that deserves attention. The Trophy Room, tucked in the back of Wren, is a 40 seater bar with class, vibe and personality. The decor is an extension of what you see in the main restaurant (since phones are not allowed inside - this will help your imagination). The drinks (A5, "Manhattan" and a "surprise") were fantastic and fairly priced. The attention to detail and the care for each cocktail were impressive. However what stood out most was the craft stylist's (Alexis or "Lex") wizardry and passion. Sure, "fancy" bars need "fancy staff," but it was her and her counterpart's (didn't get his name - but was on as a bartender's assistant as well as a main) friendly and welcoming vibe that made the drinks seem even better. I get it... servers are out to make $ too.... But if you can get someone who loves what they do, knows what they are doing and can do it with a welcoming attitude..... that is something 99% of establishments never accomplish. This is def a must visit!

To make a reservation, I had to pay a $25 nonrefundable deposit per person, which goes towards your drinks. Drinks were each $18, so it wasn't hard to make our deposit money worth. You are given 1.5 hours for your reservation, and your time starts at your reservation time, so be sure to arrive a little earlier. They have you lock up your cell phones in the beginning, which only added to the experience in my opinion. The ambience was cool, and the inside was aesthetic and had some digital art wow-factors. There wasn't any food available, just drinks. We had the watermelon sugar high, teddy bear book club, rainbow road, apple-y ever after, and down with the thiccc-ness. They all felt light, and the most surprising favorite was the teddy bear. Overall, our entire group had an impressive experience. Two thumbs up!

We love speakeasy's and whenever the discussion come's up the Trophy Room ranks high on our list for the delicious drinks and creative drink crafting. The beautiful elegant restaurant adds to the experience as you are escorted to the Trophy Room. Phones are not allowed and must be locked which allows you to enjoy the intimate ambiance and fantastic service. Their version of an expresso cocktail with the cookie ranks one of my favorite drinks. We love this place!

Great Speakeasy in downtown Phoenix. We were met at the hostess area by Ella who took us to the Trophy Room, gave some history and interesting facts about the Speakeasy.Great Craft Cocktails. Our Server Andrew was super patient, informative and very knowledgeable of the Drinks and how they were made.Leslie was the Mixologist and she did a marvelous job.Don't miss the opportunity when you are downtown Phoenix. We can't wait to return.Make reservations, it's $25 per person which is applied to your tab, you are still responsible for gratuities. You must check your cell phones in lock boxes once you enter the bar.Be sure and check out the art work, very fascinating as the scenery changes constantly. You are also limited to 1 1/2 hours per visit. The ambience is fantastic, amazing I might add.Go, enjoy, you will love it.

Had a chance to try out the Trophy Room the other night and it was a fun venue, with creative atmosphere. The bar was behind a curtain, and before you went in, they laid out the house rules which included a no cell phone policy. You were to place your phone locked into a large apothecary wall with drawers and locks. They told us that this was to be more in the moment. The bar area was decorated in, well let's say lots of surprises. Since we can't take pictures, you'll have to see it when you get there. Trophy room, get it? Artisan cocktails were beautiful and expertly crafted. Service was on point. However lighting is very low in the venue, and if you have poor night vision and don't have your phone to illuminate the menu...

I love me a good speakeasy! My friend and I saw this one on Instagram and had to try it. The allure - no phones allowed inside! I don't have a problem keeping my attention on my guest but the appeal still stands. It's a nice disconnect from the world for 1.5 hours. They definitely kept the actual location under wraps but the random velvet rope had to lead somewhere I suppose! I got a picture of the cute lockers and the trophies in the hallway but obviously nothing inside the speakeasy.Overall it was a fun experience, I had the Down with the Thickness cocktail and my date had the Trophy Wife cocktail. Both were excellent and about $16 each. I definitely want to visit again already to try their other drinks and maybe sit at the bar since they seem to use a torch on some drinks and it smelled musky and smoky from where we were sitting.

Love the smaller bar vibe and the requirement to put phones away. There's really nothing that warrants the phone being away other than them fostering an environment where you're encouraged to stay connected with the ones you came with! This was probably just me not connecting the dots, but the trophy room is based off trophy hunting so there's a lot of rifle decor. Like a lot. To me, that's very boys club, old money vibes. Probably not where I want to spend a night again due to that but service was great and it was higher end!

I love a good speakeasy! Great ambiance. Modern lodge with taxidermy touches paired with interesting bullet art/fixtures. Would recommend getting a reservation beforehand. In true Phoenix fashion- wide variety of those dressed up vs casual. I had one of the best drinks I've ever had in my life- "teddy bear book club." I really hope that stays on the menu! They also had a nice selection on nonalcoholic drinks for those concerned about that.
