Topaz Bar & Lounge

This places is located in the neighborhood of Arizona State University. I went near the holidays and the area was pretty low key and not very busy. Street parking was easy but it is metered. The happy hour here was interesting! The margaritas were $6 and pretty good. They advertised cheese nachos and it was just that! Nachos chips smothered in cheese- pretty funny! The tacos were inexpensive and pretty good. I preferred the cauliflower tacos over the fish and shrimp. The Carne tacos were good but boardline dry. Overall a decent place with pretty good food. Service was great either way!

Service is always top notch. It's hard to find places that have this vibe level but also have great service. The burgers and fries are delicious.They have outdoor seating. It is usually fairly popping at night, especially if a game is on or an event is in the neighborhood, so don't expect it to be quiet. Although sometimes it is. They play music louder on certain nights. Small indoor area with a nice bar with friendly servers and patrons. I always feel very welcome and the food, while limited, is fantastic. The wings are also very good. Drinks are good and perfect for the menu. Don't expect a fancy wine list or anything but for a night out with friends, watching the game, or eating with locals, this is a great place.

This is a nice chill restaurant in the heart of Roosevelt Row if you don't want a pretentious, expensive dinner with a good drink program. My friend and I met up here around 5/6 on a Friday and it wasn't terribly busy. The hostess was our server due to the restaurant size and busyness. With current construction around them, there's not a lot of street parking available... but that's kinda how it is in Roosevelt Row. They have a decent-sized patio to make up for the small seating arrangement indoors.They have a happy hour and late night menu for the workers and bar flies. We both got a cocktail and then some vodka sodas (poured VERY heartily). Our server told us a couple of key menu items she loves- burgers and flatbreads. So we ordered one of each and shared. I was super starving so didn't get a good pic of the flatbread BUT it's definitely better than the burger (which was also delish). Cheers to many more years of The Jackalope!

If you don know what I'm talking about when I say "cheese pull" just skip this and head on to the next review lol a cool late night spot with affordable bottles of Prosecco and visually appealing full bar. Lots of bar bites that are soooo tasty and great service. Also open late! Try my order: start with the mozzarella sticks and thank me later

This a great place with a very chill environment. The food was really good, honestly, better than expected. Authentic Mexican flavors, including the tortillas. The street tacos are really good. Everything made fresh. Great selection of beer as well. Good place to catch a game with plenty of Tvs and to top it off, great music. Was able to even put some work in seating at the bar. Jessika, the bartender is extremely attentive and a joy to talk to. This place is going into my saved places when traveling to Phoenix. Keep up the great job and best success to you. Bless the young gal who made our Scooby snack drink request! You're freaking amazing! With no hesitation or questions you made the perfect drink! Came here on a vacation, 1st timers and definitely will be back again. The service was excellent, place was jammed packed and great music was playing. Seriously EVERY table was taken, our party of 8 sat in two different table locations but seriously didn't mind I sat with my favorite people! Lol Not going to lie I was a little skeptical about the food HOWEVER I was blown away with how delicious everything was! So freaking good we forgot to take pictures! We order wings (MUST HAVE!), Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fries, hamburger special and a steak sandwich. Don't forget ranch! It's the best! Everything was delicious! The best part of this place is the pool you can take a quick dip or soak in while hanging out! They even have a freaking bar right in the pool!! Wow! Highly recommend to stop by and give them a try! Cute little bar/restaurant just off Roosevelt row. We came at a slow time and it was not busy at all. Our waitress was so sweet and chatted with us for a while. The drink were good and the food was amazing. They have karaoke some nights and live DJ's. Cant wait to come back here at night when it's busy.

I was set on trying some new places downtown Phoenix and have been eyeballing Jackalope Gastropub for awhile, as it's located the Roosevelt art district downtown near a ton of other spots we tend to hit a lot. Right away the vibe is relaxed, great spot to catch any of the games. The bar is small but they offer pretty unique seating options. In the spring the patio is such a nice spot to have dinner. The food is made to order, comes out so fresh. BIG portions, great for sharing (especially the burgers!) Who doesn't love finger foods? The apps are good (the wings pass the test). Below is a picture of what I ordered!If you are looking for good prices, casual ambience, and VERY good burgers, this is definitely your spot.

Best bar downtown! Great staff, good music, and the tacos are amazing. Don't sleep on this gem.

Javier and Biri were both so wonderful in helping me arrange a get together for my group! I filled out their form online for group reservations and I heard back within a day. They were very accommodating and overall helpful too. We were able to get a private room that has a door outside (picture attached). When we got there, we ordered their taco platter (forgot the name, but it was a Family Combo), two loaded nachos, and two quesadillas (which later increased to 4 because we loved it so much!). Food was quick to come out; Biri and our bartender that night were very attentive as well. My only regret is not taking any pictures while I was there. Another reason to go back! hope to see you guys again soon!
