Tom's BBQ - Chandler

Phenomenal BBQ! The brisket dinner was out of this world. Melted in my mouth. Delicious mashed potatoes and gravy. Glad I finally came to try it, we'll be back!

We called in an order 70 minutes before closing, but a number of fried items were not available. I'm guessing they had shut down their fryers already, because the hush puppies were soft and the catfish was just ok. They had the chairs up on the tables and were clearly getting ready to close, though at that point it was 50 minutes until closing time. It was a disappointment.

It wasn't bad but wasn't great, I would go again if I didn't have any other option. A bit salty and dry but again not horrible.

We order food to go and didn't notice until we got home that they gave us only three small and narrow strips of Beef Brisket that where about 80 % fat. It was disgusting .We also ordered pull-up pork and it didn't have any flavor, it tasted like boiled pork because the barbecue sauce wasn't enough and only on the surface but not inside .For a side dish we got mash potato, it wasn't good or bad just something warm to eat . What a rip-off this food was .We spend $40.54 and couldn't be more dissatisfied and upset We won't ever buy food from Tom's BBQ again .

I went here late afternoon so it wasn't very busy. The guy behind the counter gave off stoner vibes but took my order quickly and answered my questions. He brought out my order of fried catfish, fries, hush puppies, cornbread and peach cobbler. Despite the weird reviews from others, I found the portions quite generous... So much that I took home leftovers. The fries tasted freshly made, and the catfish was very moist and hot. The cornbread was good as well. The peach cobbler was a bit of a let down, as there were lots of very sweet topping chunks, but underneath the peaches looked and tasted like they came from a can along with some spice. But they were still tasty. Overall, a good experience... A good place to get a bite if you are in the area.

Adam and Kevin, Thank you guys!!! On my way from an event decided to stop here as it, didn't appear to be busy which I wanted food quickly and to go. It was super fast service!!!It's a Family establishment in which Adam gave me the history of the establishment in 2.2 seconds! That Kid is going places in life!!! I had the rib tips, Mac n cheese with baked beans(recommended by Adam) which also came with a bun. All of it was good! The ribs fell off of the bones and were way better without the sauce. I wasn't a fan of the BBQ sauce as it was vinegary but the food was good without it! I definitely recommend eating here. There's lots of free parking, a great location and has plenty of seating inside. The prices are comparable to any BBQ establishment so nothing to crazy but, is pretty standard for today's restaurants since covid. My only advice would be to wear mask and gloves to protect yourselves and the customers regardless of vaccinations.

My son and I were in the area and decided to try this place out. We love BBQ. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich combo. He complained the meat was a bit dry. A lot of local restaurants don't marinate the meat in the sauce. I understand it allows customers to choose their sauce without the owners wasting meat marinated in a sauce customers may not be ordering. I loved my chicken and rib combo meal. It was the special of the day. I ate from it, at least, three times. The ribs were juicy and flavorful. The chicken was okay. It was a little dry. But, it was a huge piece with a lot of meat. The macaroni and cheese was nothing special. It's very cheesy and uses shell pasta. I prefer baked macaroni and cheese. The bbq beans were outstanding! The cornbread was fabulous. I didn't love the peach cobbler. It's one of my favorite desserts. It didn't have much bread/crust. I had to ask for the cobbler and show my receipt because the gentleman who served us didn't bring it out. The only other issue was that the same gentleman also tried to bring us food that wasn't ours numerous times. Since orders are placed at the counter, they may want to hand out numbers or take names as customers are placing orders. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. It didn't take long to receive our food. I'd definitely go back. The menu is expansive so there are a lot of options we have yet to try.

Entered a Very Clean restaurant No odd odors Just the Smell of Great BBQ cooking my Choice for today was the 4pc Catfish Platter nice size Filets YES Real Catfish NOT the Crappy imported stuff some places serve as catfish properly prepared the Southern Way with Cornmeal fried to a perfect Crisp outside but Soft and Flaky inside l ordered the Fresh cut Fries which came out Piping HOT Not Lukewarm that has been sitting how long NO ONE Knows also had a serving of Onion Strings which were a Special treat perfectly cooked along with Hushpuppies a PERFECT early afternoon dinner I'll be coming back Soon see Ya There

I thought I really liked this place but honestly it's just ok, there is definitely better. The pulled pork is extremely fatty, and the "sliced" brisket is shredded and never nicely sliced. We had them forget an entire plate of food once, they were quick to refund the money but that sucked. I will say the fried pickles are yummy. Sometimes they are kinda soggy but the flavor is great and the ranch is good.

We have always looked forward to ordering from Tom's. We go for the fish and chips, brisket and hot links. The last 3 visits they've had no hot links. This time they had no baked potatoes. The fried catfish was mostly cornmeal crust and very little fish, dry and overcooked. The french fries were also overcooked and very chewy. The brisket was very dry and, yay, they had hot links that were good.Not sure why this place has gone downward, but we will start trying other places.
