The Spaghetti Shack

I was here on grand opening summer of 2023 and received a "meatballs for a year" card. This Spaghetti Shack is located in Tempe near ASU campus next to a Valley Metro light rail stop. Being an alumni, I appreciate the Sun Devil décor inside the restaurant. The customer service here is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Spaghetti Shack has a few weekday specials that includes a buy one, get one free meatball on Mondays.I grew up on spaghetti and meatballs in my family. The Spaghetti Shack is all about spaghetti and serves it in a bucket to go. It doesn't get any simpler than that. You have three bucket sizes to choose from (which includes garlic bread) - Small Shack (1/2 lb. - feeds 1), Mid Shack (1 lb. - feeds 2), and Full Shack (1 1/2 lb. - feeds 4-5). Meatballs are extra and are $1.50 each. Trust me, you want the meatballs. They are so good!Also on their menu is a meatball sub and a couple of dessert items. If you love pasta and not in the mood to cook or do dishes, make your life easy and order a bucket of pasta to go. If you are ever in the Pinetop-Lakeside area, Spaghetti Shack has a location there as well.

This place is located on North side of Apache Blvd near Rural near ASU. No parking lot.The menu is pretty small see photo.But as long as there is something you like, it is good food.The meatball sub was a good size for the price. Similar price to Subway but bigger meatballs and better sauce.The Mid Shack (see photos) supposedly feeds 2 but it could feed one person with a decent appetite. We went there the night before a cross country race and one person pretty much finished off the Mid Shack by herself.The chicken Parm side was very good.Very good sauce once again.

For the price (I got the ASU deal), I genuinely enjoyed my meal. The garlic bread was crispy and buttery, the spaghetti was bouncy and had a bite to it, and the red sauce was good!! The meatball is juicy and not dry. The portion size is good for like 1.5 adults lol or someone with a big appetite! The service here was amazing, asked me if I would like to add on a drink or dessert! The only thing I will say is that their main table isn't a good function table.. like the chairs are stuck to their table. Otherwise 8.5/10 for the food + price

I am not a huge sauce fan, especially if it's meatless. I did have a nice chicken cutlet on my chicken parmigiana but overall would probably stop here in a pinch but won't be a regular

Decided to stop in because I was close by, this place did not disappoint. I will admit that I wasn't expecting anything gourmet but the red sauce was delish. My bf who is Italian also gave it a thumbs up and this man is hard to please lol you really can't beat the price honestly. Also I appreciated the customer service. Gentlemen was attentive and kind. Btw I only ordered a single meatball and red sauce because I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did lol I will def be returning.

I ordered catering from spaghetti shack for a company event and it was a big hit! I spoke with the owner to order and he was very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service overall is was wonderful! The food was great too, large portions!

Overpriced for mediocre food and service. ToGo food did not include plates or cups. The empty store should have been my sign. I suggest you go a few doors down to Sal's Pizza.

Great food! Friendly environment ! Die hard SUN DEVILS We love it here! Customer service is wonderful. The nostalgia of having home made spaghetti is also a plus.

Great food and customer service! Quick and efficient. Always a good time at the Shack.
