My fiancé and I have been coming here consistently as a pre- / post-movie date spot and neither of us have anything negative to say. It's so unassuming you'd never think the food would be as great as it is. You walk in and seat yourself (assuming it's not too busy), the service is routinely excellent & friendly & attentive, and, again, the food is awesome.For my money, among the best burgers in the valley. Cooked precisely how you order it. So many places if you order a medium they'll give you rare or if you order it medium well you get it burnt. The consistency of these burgers is wild to me. They're just routinely delicious. My fiancé ordered the "wrong" burger the first time we came here and it was so good she's never pivoted. The fried pickles are also quite good. Sliced thin how I prefer them when done well and they usually are.I hesitated even leaving this review knowing it could make a lowkey spot more popular, but it's just too good not to sing its praises. If you love a good beer and burger don't hesitate!

Among the chains and other assorted bars along P83, it's refreshing to see a an unpretentious kinda dive in The Moon Saloon. TVs line the walls, country music blasts on the speakers, and standard pub grub is on the menu. I came in after work on a Wednesday for a burger and a beer. The Southwest burger called to me: pepper jack + guac + fried jalapeno + chipotle mayo. Unfortunately, it sounded better in concept: the patty didn't have much seasoning and the fried jalapenos were missing. It wasn't a bad burger, but nothing out of the ordinary. The hand cut fries on the side were crisp, but too salty.Still, not a bad place to unwind

Heard this was a Chicago bar so stopped in to catch the Bears pre-season game and the Cubs at the same time....was a great stop! We sat at the bar..... food was excellent, service was friendly. We'll be back to watch the Bears this season!

Our go to place just to splurge. Excellent food and drinks.... Our waitress was very friendly, and on point... drinks are always full and she kept checking on us. Forgot her name but she's the best. Go give this place a try.

Went here the first time with my mom and it was pretty good! The pretzel bites were my favorite! The cheese dip made it as well!! Would absolutely go back just for them! Margarita pizza was nice and fresh as well! Waitress was very nice! I will say our food took a little long which we kinda had a time crunch so was a little frustrating to see people next to us get their food faster then us especially when we did order a appetizer...But overall would go back!

My favorite neighborhood bar by far. I'm a sucker for the sliders & fries. Love this place.

Place is awesome sports bar. We have been coming for years . Service always fast and friendly. Close to where padres play for spring training. The Prosciutto jalapeños were delicious. Coldest beer I have ever had. Tawny thank you for a great experience

Awesome atmosphere! It's such a great find. We ran across their specials and decided to try the burgers. They were so good! I recommend it if you are in the area. There was a steady flow of people coming in but it wasn't crowded, (it was 2 p.m. on a Tuesday). They were not playing loud music which was a plus! All in all, it is a must-try!
