The Grapevine Restaurant & Karaoke Bar

HAD AN AMAZING TIME HERE! Had my birthday party here with all my friends and we had such an amazing time. I don't remember the dude that was running the karaoke but he was extremely nice. Everyone had good vibes, from the waitress to the bouncer. The crowd was a little fickle but it's Scottsdale... so you know . They have a total of three karaoke areas. Inside is the main karaoke but that was full so we sat outside on the downstairs patio, that had another karaoke. They have misters but still was pretty warm (can't escape the heat in AZ). Then upstairs they have a cool rooftop bar that supposedly has another karaoke area going but we didn't go up there. I'd give this place 5 stars but my friends said the food was pretty terrible. Not one person enjoyed their food. I didn't really eat so can't give my opinion but that was pretty much the consensus. Anyway, if you're looking for a karaoke spot in old town. THIS ONE IS IT! Amazing venue! Will definitely be back.

This review is only about the karaoke - we didn't order food. There are two karaoke bars (at least on Friday) - upstairs and downstairs. We were seated downstairs which luckily, seemed to have the most talented singers.We are seated at a table (two of us) with other guys - not a deal breaker at all but you sort of walk in and have a WTF moment for the first 15 minutes. What is going on here?The room was small - our guys left and 3 women took their place at our table - everyone was very nice. There are a number of people who are there for the entertainment - others were pretty obviously regulars, and the music was pretty entertaining. Great singers from all different styles of music.Karaoke Dj was very cool and there is sort of an unspoken (keep your listening ears on) for a soft call that you're up. The DJ had basically any song anyone requested - that's pretty cool.All in all, it was a great experience. I'm not sure, given how crowded it was, that eating would be easy on the core Friday night....so that's why the 4 stars. Very strong recommend for karaoke.

Haven't been to the Grapevine in at least 8 years. Forgot how tiny the karaoke section is. Seriously tiny. But I'm pleased they will have early karaoke on the weekends! Helps for us GenX folks who dislike the nighttime craziness. Lol Went the other Saturday and it was a decent time. Got there early and we sang about 4 songs in the course of 2.5-3 hours. Which for a karaoke bar, that's not too shabby! Ordered food too and they were about to accommodate my bunfree burger request. Bartender was super nice. It started to get crowded so we left. It was nice getting home from karaoke while the sun was still out We'll be back!

The service is horrible. I asked to sit at a specific seat because it was available, and there were only three chairs. I have three people in my party and was told it was for a bigger party. I spoke to the manager, and she was rude as well. I would 100% not recommend it for karaoke. The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and did not offer any solutions. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night after dinner for a nightcap and to watch karaoke. We loved it. Nothing fancy and all you'd want for a fun time. We did not try food. I got a chocolate cherry martini, my friend had a lemon drop martini. Full bar available. Service was attentive. I'd go back. Enjoy!

The grapevine is always fun to go to for a little karaoke, a cocktail and a good time. The patio is beautiful and comfortable, with a wide variety on the menu. Service is always great, there are two levels giving you a lot of space to enjoy.

Went here for a friend's birthday (just the karaoke part) we had such a great time!! Awesome drink menu and at a great price! Kudos to the servers, they are on top of it! I had the Dirty Elvis, it was practically dessert it was so good! The man in charge of Kareoke is so friendly, and well organized, he has EVERY song! Was a great time had by all, perfect way to end an evening!

My first time at Grapevine Restaurant was a disappointment. I met up with friends and we were all surprised that a glass of water ordered cost $5.00 ! We were there to do Karaoke and I was with some friends that have been there frequently to do Karaoke. They couldn't believe that we were all charged the $5.00 for water each. One of our group ordered a soda water and they were charged and also charged extra for a soda refill. It just sets a tone and the vibe is that Grapevine is out to nickel and dime for every charge. One of our group ordered a dinner and wanted veggie tacos. The server did ask and was able to have the kitchen make the veggie tacos. It did seem odd that I couldn't order guacamole and chips. No guacamole on the menu but plain avocado with chips and $5.00 for water seemed blah!Not sure I will go back again. The experience me and my group of friends had wasn't the best and while the Karaoke was nice the menu and charges were not.

Came here on a very rare, but super rainy day. We thought maybe they would be busy with it being a Saturday, but nope! They had plenty of room for us. The patio on the second floor was open. Even though it was rainy, they had a cover they were able to put on during the storm. They dried up a table for us and we had a nice spot next to the indoor heaters, which I totally needed because I was wet and cold! I ordered the wedge salad and it was so delicious! Plenty of blue cheese and bacon, yum! Others ordered French onion soup, chipotle chicken, chicken salad, and chicken parm sandwich and everyone said everything was really good, especially his chicken salad sandwich. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive despite being busy.

This is our second visit. The first was in early February. Both times for lunch/appetizers. We live in Orange County but come to visit our daughter and, this trip, our son and his girlfriend.My wife and I came on a Sunday about noon and sat up top. They were able to give us a table right overlooking the street, great for people watching. We ordered the hummus with pita bread and Shirazi salad, and the Ceviche. Both were very good. A young man asked if we wanted the spaceheater on and we said yes and appreciated him for asking. Our young male server was nice and efficient, and took good care of us. There seem to be mixed reviews of this place. We had great experiences both times.
