I never expect much from ice cream in a strip mall, but this place was great. Not that much seating, but it wasn't a problem since most people ordered to-go anyway. The vibe is traditional Italian without being kitsch. The focus was on the food and I loved that. There were also high chairs for kids and I greatly appreciated that. (I always love anyplace that is kid friendly). The cakes are big portions and the flavors of the gelato were innovative and interesting. Cannoli tasted like it was made with love. Will come back again soon.

I have been coming to this place for so many years, knowing it as the best place in the valley get gelato. It had been over a year since I had stepped into the store and as it was my birthday, I wanted it to be special. The team that was here before the previous ownership was such a delight and would do anything to make your day even better. I am as greeted by a young girl who was nice but lacked a warm greeting and product ceremony. I noticed that there were so many new faces and things in the shop felt different with less love into the business.I took it upon myself to ask a gentleman who I believed to be a manager/owner if there was a new owner. he introduced himself as the owner but did not let me know his name. I asked why the last owners told or perhaps a story about it and he became very defensive. What was most disturbing about the whole experience? Was this man who was also a father purchased this business for his privileged son and they have zero experience in the gelato business, As they have zero heart and soul. If you wanna support a wealthy rich man to take advantage of a carefully made business and turn it into a rude miserable environment , come here! This was a business that brought love and joy. it's no longer. SO SAD.

OMG that PISTACHIO!!!!! Mind blowing delicious!!! Incredible natural flavor and color (brown not green!). Best we've ever had by a long shot. 5+++++++ stars!Limoncello sorbet - refreshing and not too tart. 4.5 stars. Mascarpone and fig - uniquely delicious flavor. 5 stars. Black cherry - fantastic cherry flavor with tasty sweetened cherries pieces. Excellent! 5+ stars! If this is what true Italian gelato is like we are planning a trip to Italy. We're only in town a few days but we're coming back everyday we're here!!!

Goodbye ice cream and froyo, hello gelato! Wow! So many delicious flavors to choose from. I'm so glad the kind woman behind the counter recommended Cracker Jack because it was spectacular. As was the lavender. Yes lavender! Sizes come in small, medium, and large with the large allowing room for up to four flavors. Very reasonably priced and there is plenty of outdoor seating at tables with umbrellas. The inside was clean and spacious. I only went for the gelato but there are some incredible looking pastries as well. I will definitely be back...maybe even tomorrow.

When ever I'm in North Scottsdale and in the mood for Gelato , That's Amore is my go to place. The new ownership is friendly and dishes out an ample amount of great Gelato. They have a wide selection (35) of flavors . They also have cakes, pastries and espresso coffee. My 3 favorite flavors are Pistacchio, Coffee, and Stracciatella. If you buy a medium or large size you can get up to 3 flavors.

Very popular gelato spot in North Scottsdale. We stopped by here on a Friday night, and the line for gelato was out the door the entire time. We did not try the gelato but instead ordered the cannoli and cream puff. Both were good, but would like to come back and try the gelato, as that seem to be the most popular choice.

This is by far the best gelato I have ever had! I brought 3 flavors home and the container kept the gelato perfect. I will go back and have coffee and some great looking pastries. You have to and try it.

We had been going here for 15 years when we lived in area. We moved south and haven't been back in over 2 years- new ownership and it's not the same. The service or the quality. So sad. Still looking for good gelato in the valley.

Showed up just before close because the family and I were craving gelato. I did some research and saw great reviews at (That's Amore Gelato). Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The place is clean, the vibe and atmosphere are perfect! Great selections of fresh gelato and the closest I've had since being in Italy. Thank you!

New owners are pretty odd. They hire young kids then ghost them. My daughter worked here (giving up allHer weekends) just to be completely ghosted one day. It was her first job and really liked her coworkers so she was pretty upset. She tried to reach out to Anita (the owner) a couple of times just to be ignored. Since this was my daughter's 1st job I called to see what happened and looking for feedback so she can learn from the experience. I was told by Anita's husband that he "thought Anita reached out" and that they just didn't have the hours to give. (Yet they just hired someone else that week) Later one of my daughter's friends who worked there told them they thought she was too slow. My daughter was surprised because they told her she needed to slow down which she thought was odd as the line is always out the door. Either way, owners need to grow up and have actual conversations with their young employees. Help them learn by teaching them and being a good example. Ghosting these kids is plain out rude and immature. (Since my daughter left they have done this to a few other kids as well- just toss them aside like pieces of garbage with no explanation) Real nice
