"We were craving some Thai food for lunch and there was a few options, but we settled on this one. This was my first time at this restaurant and there was enough parking spots on a weekend afternoon. There was one other family dining when we arrived, and a few more came while we were there. We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizers, and they came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious! Crispy, hot, and creamy cheese/crab filling. For my entree, I chose the drunken noodles with tofu, spice level 4/5. My dining companion ordered their yellow curry with tofu, spice level 3/5.Our food came out and we dug in. My dish was not piping hot, but moderately warm with some hot spots in the middle. There wasn't enough sauce/flavors and the noodles were more on the mushy side. The tofu was cooked well and tasted great. My dish was not spicy, maybe a 2 or 3, so I added some Sriracha sauce. I tried the yellow curry and it was pretty good.Service was friendly and our waters were refilled appropriately. I may try different dishes if I return in the future, but in the meantime I will choose other Thai restaurants."
"China Basil has become my partner and I's new favorite Chinese restaurant! We've ordered take out from them a few times and it always hits the spot. My go to has been the delicious teriyaki chicken bowl though I've also tried the sesame chicken which is good as well. My partner always orders the honey crispy chicken which he raves about. The servings are a great size, and the staff are very friendly every time we drop in. We highly recommend China Basil!"

Visit Restaurant Page"Slim pickings in Fountain Hills for late (ish) dinner. We decided on Thai food, seemed safe. Well, safe and certainly not great.Restaurant was completely empty. Server was nice but overly attentive, like taking our plates before we finished eating.. 3/5Now the food. Som Tum : papaya salad had too much sauce & obnoxiously spicy 1/5The Pad Thai : was 2/5, mild spice, bland chicken.Lastly , the Peanut chicken : peanut sauce could've used more spice, and chicken looked boiled, very bland 2/5.Disappointing Thai food experience."
"Food is still absolutely delicious and we have been coming here for years. We ordered a few lunch specials that come with soup and a spring roll. The yellow curry was my favorite and the Thai fried rice was a close second. Lunch portions are perfect size. The service is amazing and friendly. The place is small, clean and comfortable. This is a wonderful small family owned business. I highly recommend you give them a shot if you are looking for some amazing Thai cuisine."
"I've been waiting to try this spot for awhile and their hours were a bit unconventional being open only 3 days a week while sharing their space with Thailys. Now that they have their own restaurant in Gilbert I was super excited to try especially with extended hours and availability. The concept is simple: choose your type of noodles, your protein, and spice level.Keep in mind you can always add more spice as they have condiments on the table.Their beef soup was flavorful as I tried it with egg noodle and rice noodle. They are pretty generous with meat so I was pretty happy with the outcome. I wish their business the best"
"Beautiful interior, very nice service, great food, excellent drinks, but pricey for the portion sizes. For 2, it was a $100.You must call ahead to add yourself to the waitlist otherwise, it's busy and you'll have to wait. On a Friday night it was packed. We loved the drink, "Thousand Smiles" it had chili, kaffir lime, ginger, and basil, which made it well-balanced.The "Pad Ke-mao" was also great and had rice noodles and skirt steak stir-fried with basil, garlic and chili. The "Pad Makeur" eggplant with basil and scallions, and "Kieow Tod" pan-fried shrimp and chicken dumplings, were good as well. For spice level we got what they recommended which was medium and it was perfect."
"Came in for fish cakes. I had those pre-pandemic and that is no more. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai lunch special. Beautiful presentation. The sauce is on the sweet side, but still enjoyable. I love the salad dressing!"
"My husband and I ate here for lunch. They did a great job classing up the place. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I got the lamb biriani and my husband got the butter chicken. My lamb was so tender and his chicken so creamy. The server told us about some special drinks they had which we will try next time.We WILL be back. I am so happy that we finally have a great spot within walking distance to our house."
"Great lunch spot. Super reasonably priced. Excellent & attentive service. I ordered the BBQ pork w/o rice or veggies & it was exactly what I needed. 3 small portions of BBQ pork but the perfect size for lunch. It wasn't too loud when we came in so we could easily hear each other at the table. Would definitely recommend & will definitely come back."
"Stop #13 on our Vegan Summer Journey was an actual delivery pick-up for Krua Thai Cuisine. The wife has been wanting to try this place out for a while now so since the lunch deals are pretty good she decided to order some food online. It worked out really well because it is near an Aldi store that we like to grocery shop at. My wife ordered the Thai Fried Rice with Tofu for me and she had the Pad Thai. I get home with the food to discover that my fried rice had chicken in it instead of tofu. Naturally, I was upset so my wife called and they immediately issued a refund to her card. So, since the customer service was good I decided to keep the rating at 4 stars instead of 3. I don't know if I need to return but the food was good despite the mistake (I removed all of the chicken) and the restaurant itself was very clean. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!"
"I gotta say, from the jump, this place has a super chill/welcoming vibe. I knew I was gonna be in for a treat, and I was not disappointed. Started off with a Mango Martini and my sister had the Lychee Strawberry Martini. Both were refreshingly fantastic! Next came the appetizers. We had the Shrimp Summer Rolls and Sweet Potato. They both tasted great with their accompanied sauces, but I really have to express how much I absolutely could not get enough of those deliciously crisp sweet potatoes. It was unexpectedly on another level of yum! I already know I'll be craving those! As for the Entree, we opted to split the Thai BBQ Pork plate. It was cooked to perfection; nice and juicy! The Zen Sauce hit taste buds nicely. Let's just say the plate was spotless when we were through.I absolutely recommend this place, if ever you're in Downtown Phoenix. It's somewhat on the outer rim of Downtown, so you won't be exactly in the thick of it, where the traffic can be annoying. Thanks, Zen Thai, for an amazing dining experience. Your servers are A+ and management is a hoot."
"Mama Thai Kitchen has a great menu and good location in an area of South Chandler that isn't too crowded. I love that they have outdoor seating and the service is always very prompt. The overall prices are fair for Thai food and there is a full bar available. The portions are decent, and I recommend the soups as they are a standout on the menu. The flavors are good, and I would go a little higher on the heat scale as they are used to catering to a crowd that often doesn't like spice. We tried a couple of common Thai staples and everything had great flavor and a nice presentation. I would pass on the spring rolls and orange chicken as the dishes were on the smaller side and instead focus on more traditional items. Overall, a really good spot and definitely someplace we plan to visit more often."

Nice, solid Thai experience with wonderful service. The building looks like a refitted old house with a small parking lot on the property. We ordered Tom Kha soup with tofu, Pad Thai with chicken, Papaya Salad Bangkok style and Spicy Basil Noodle. We did level 3 out of 5 for spiciness. It was perfect, plenty of heat but not so hot that you can't enjoy the flavors. The servings were large and the 4 items were more than 2 people can eat. I thought the prices were also very fair for the quality.

I think this place is great! My friend and I come here all the time when we want some Thai comfort food. You will never have to wait a long time, the place is always clean, the servers are friendly and nice, the food comes out quick, they are not overpriced, and most importantly, the food is delicious! My favorites are either the green curry or some pad se ew. Would recommend this place to anyone!

There's finally a place specializing in Thai boat noodles in the Valley! I got Tiew Hang (dry boat noodles) with beef and it truly exceeded my expectation. The beef was super tender, and the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The flavors were excellent as is - there is no need to add the condiments on the table at all. We also ordered non-boat noodle dishes. Pork Laab tasted just like what you'd get in Thailand. Khao Poon (rice noodle in red curry broth) was also great and can't be found anywhere else in Phoenix. Warm black beans and sweet sticky rice was a perfect end to our meal. The owner was really nice and welcoming. Skip all the Americanized Thai restaurants and give this place a try!

Since moving from Washington to Arizona, we have found several mediocre Thai places. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers we gave this place a try and it was great! Wife was happy to find lettuce wraps without seafood in them (she does not like seafood). We will definitely be back as it was delicious and we want to check out the meat shop next door.

This is a very decent and authentic Indian cuisine. The server and food was on par excellent. They had a very small Thai section but I just went for their Indian entrees. It's not really a place to chat as it can get very loud with the band present but they are lovely. The corn 65 was a little mushy inside, I don't know if it's supposed to but it was still good; I was expecting a nice crunch. The Biriyani was very tasty, but their ritha wasn't special or that good. I did enjoy everything though and had a great time.
Visit Restaurant Page"Yupha's Thai Kitchen has been a favorite go to spot of mine for years! Was out with my son and we were getting hungry and I suggested we head over to Yupha's for lunch. After checking out the menu I went with Pad Prew Wan lunch special. The lunch special comes with soup, salad with a warm peanut sauce dressing which is plate lickin good and a fried spring roll,I went with chicken for my Pad Prew Wan, and it was sauteed in sweet and sour sauce with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pineapples, bell peppers, scallions, and some steamed white rice. It got it on the spicy side because spicy sweet is my favorite taste combo. The service was great, and the food was delish as always. If you haven't been to Yupha's you should go give them a try!"
"This place just opened and , boy, are we happy about that! The place has a great location and ample parking. The inside is really clean and bright. Lots of booth seating. The menu is pretty all encompassing. Lots of styles and variations to choose from, no matter your taste. We started with the crab Rangoon appetizer. Really delicious small bites with a nice sauce. My wife had the green curry with chicken (mild spice) which she thought was very tasty. She did think it was a bit above mild in spice level in her tasting opinion. I had to try it to verify. Yeah, maybe a little spicy but not by much for my buds. I went with the drunken noodles with shrimp which was very tasty as well. Lots of shrimp in the dish too. The service was fantastic. The two young ladies working the front were both super friendly and helpful in navigating their big menu. We happened to meet the owner during our visit and learned he is also a Sun City resident. So this is truly a local business. We can't wait to get back to try some other menu items!"
"What a fun find! Delicious food at great prices. The yellow curry is great. My sister had pad woon sen and loved it. I will definitely be back. Especially to try the crispy pad Thai spring rolls! They sound heavenly."
"I haven't had pho in over 10 years. It was definitely time to try it again. Phenomenal. Just amazing. Why did I wait so many years to have pho again? This place offers a full on coconut as a drink. They bring out the coconut with a hole on the top to consume the drink AND eat the coconut filling. I guess this was a young coconut so the nut part was all soft and creamy and amazingly delicious. I had never had one of them before. the wanton soup was great! The broth tasted like pho broth. The beef was delicious! Definitely need to go back soon."
"3 stars for my first visit only because I probably didn't get a true viet dish. My tamarind shrimp dish was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I didn't enjoy having to pick off the shell & removing the poopy shrimp spine, but the flavor was better than I expected! Surprisingly, they have a lot of snail dishes! I'm pretty sure it's their specialty, but alas, u won't find any snails in my body! ***Gag face*** U won't find me hurrying to get back here, but I'd definitely come back to try a non-snail viet dish from them!!"
"My husband and I both had Cafe de Bangkok bookmarked for quite some time and finally got the opportunity to stop by for dinner. We had gone in the late afternoon, around 4:30pm on a Saturday. As expected, they weren't very busy but had more people comeing in as it grew closer to 5pm.Our sever made some recommendations from their menu; we went with the Yellow Curry with chicken (mild / medium), Guay Teaw Nam Tok (hot), and roti bread. The curry was nice and thick with a good amount to chicken and potatoes, it also had really good flavor. I typically don't like much spice but agreed with the recommended mild/medium spice level as it added a nice kick. My husband really enjoyed the noodle soup. It had a nice broth that had a good balance of spiciness and tartness, it came with a nice filling amount of noodles and pork/meatballs.Overall, we were very satisfied with our food. Their menu consists of a lot of the traditional items you'd expect to see at a Thai restaurant but they have some that I've never heard of before as well. I'm looking forward to returning to dine here again!"
"Visited their pop up location at Marina a heights- the red curry was awesome with just the right amount of spice. The yellow curry was a little bland, and fried rice alright. Overall, would definitely get the red chicken curry again."
"Best pad woon sen I've had in a long time!! The veggies were fresh and cooked to perfection! The flavor was a bullseye! I'm glad our server warned us about the spicy level (1-5) prior to us balling our eyes out had he not given us the heads up that their spicy level packs a mean punch! We ended up getting a level 2 and it was perfect! Our server was good, and our food came out super quick, which made the experience that much more enjoyable! Prices were slightly higher than some other Thai restaurants. When u check out, make sure to pay attention to the tip percentage, as their handheld POS device automatically defaults to 20% tip! Pay attention and enjoy ur meal!!"
"I'm a fan. Happen to be in the area and glanced at the Yelp page to see the reviews. I was sold. Came around 4:30pm which they were busy with to go orders and a well seated amount of patrons. A popular spot for first responders as well. The service was quick considering there were only two servers. The price point was extremely reasonable. My Spicy Thai Basil without the green beans (3) spicy was soooooo good. I can handle spicy but their level (3) was HOT. I ate my whole plate. The jasmine rice was pretty tasty. I can tell the food is cooked to order. I will try this place again if I'm in the area."
"Wow this is some awesome Thai food. I love that they have a vegetarian section on their menu! I ordered red curry with extra tofu on their website. My food was ready on time and my husband picked up! He said it was a little hard to get in there and it was super busy, but I can see why! I got a medium curry and felt I could've handled a bit more spice, but it was super flavorful and packed with tofu and veggies! It was on the pricier side but not like ridiculous. Would like to try another one of their curries!"
"My friend took me here for my birthday dinner. We loved the curries the most, they both have coconut, eggplant, and basil but different spices and meats - the beef curry and the chicken curry were both delicious, highly recommend. Rice comes with the curry. The Green Mango Salad, Bok Choy with Tofu, and Fried Chicken were also good. The Banana Boy drink was delicious and light (dark rum, banana, allspice, and coconut). About $140 for 2 people. Service was nice, and the inside is lovely. Street parking available. Reservation advised, you can make it on their website."
"Stopped in here on a recent Monday after working up an appetite at nearby Pickleball Kingdom with my daughter...We had a delightful meal despite the restaurant being a little slow (and likely short staffed). We loved the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and also enjoyed edamame, pad see eu, and spicy eggplant.Serving portions are large, food is super tasty, prices are reasonable. We had leftovers for days!We will be back!"
"This hole in the wall Thai restaurant has been a spot i have consistently gone to at least once a month for the last 5+ years. Food is always fresh, consistent and can't forget to mention authentic. Best place to get curry (every one is delicious) and Tom Kha Gai soup. I will forever support this lovely place. Update: Got takeout last night and did notice that the large Tom Kha Gai soups container is only filled half way, which is new. Normally the large is filled to the top. That is the only negative thing i can say."
"I love supporting small businesses, especially if the establishment is a woman-owned small business. I found La Thai's cuisine on a Yelp search and headed that way from my hotel in the Biltmore district. The drive was definitely a stretch, but it was worth it.When I arrived, a nice lady greeted me from the front reception desk and quickly sat me down. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and during the early dinner service, they were only using one portion of the restaurant. The other side was sectioned off and I imagine it's a preferred side once it's get busy for dinner as it has a romantic design to it. I ordered the following as described on their menu:1) Thai BBQ -- grilled meat marinated with Thai herbs and spices. Served with sauteed vegetables and cilantro-jalepeno sauce. Choose Chicken or Pork. ($15)2) Papaya Salad -- fresh green papaya tossed with grilled shrimp (2), tomato, and carrots in lime dressing ($14) 3) Pineapple Curry -- pineapple red curry paste, coconut milk, pineapple, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, snow peas, and kaffir lime leaves ($15)The pineapple curry was the highlight for me. I enjoyed the creaminess of the curry with the kitchen's own take on traditional herbs and spices. The papaya salad wasn't what I expected -- they're not able to modify it like most Thai or Lao restaurants so it's dressed in just a lime based dressing (missing the fermented fish, fish sauce, etc. for me).The service was excellent and the servers did a great job managing the floor -- attentive but not overbearing. Would return to try other items on the menu."
"Tips: Be there 10 minutes before opening if you want to get seated right away. OR MAKE A RSVP!! Call in for RSVP. We watched the host repeatedly redirect clients to the establishment behind the building while waiting on the waitlist. Outdoor seating opens when the sun goes down so open seating indoors is limited at opening. Shoutout to both the hostess and server for holding the front down efficiently with smiles and patience. That is awesome customer service and team work.Menu is simple. We ordered the house thai tea. Yum! Khao Soi - 10/10!! Really loved this entree from the spices to the sweet curry to the crunch from the fried noodles. Minced chicken with fried egg - ALSO VERY GOOD!! A great pairing with the noodle soup dish. The fried egg was done nicely. We wished to have ordered this entree a bit spicier. Parking lot is tricky. Goodluck with that. No tips there besides avoid getting towed when parking in other areas."
"You know, I was pleasantly surprised. The place doesn't look like much on the outside. Just a bunch of faded posters in the windows. The storefront doesn't do them justice. There is so much more to the place than what meets the eye.Hidden inside is a spacious, clean and simply elegant dining room. It is obvious that they are a small mom & pop, which I really love to give a go. On this day, my wife was out of town, so I thought I would stock up on some really good leftovers. Their menu is complete with all of my Chinese favorites. Because I had never been to this restaurant, I wanted to gauge it by trying a little bit of everything! And I did! The really nice lady at the front thought I was crazy! So, lets see, let's start with the pot stickers, go with some sweet and sour pork, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young and throw in some house noodles. There, that should do it. Well, the lady brought out a big box of food. It was obvious that these were no small servings! Yikes, what did I do?I moved from a city on the west coast with really good Asian. An honestly, for the most part, many phoenix Asian restaurants just don't compare. The nice lady at the front told me that their food was really good, so I'm ready to eat! And I have a lot to eat! There is a Chinese restaurant near me at Dysart and Indian school that I really don't care too much for, so I know I will be comparing this food to that. So, on to the food. To me it was a solid 4 out of 5 which is really good for this area. The pot stickers were pretty good, better than I had previously had. The honey walnut prawns were my favorite and as good as any I had, a real must try. Let's see, the Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork really measured up and the house Lo Mein noodles with beef, shrimp & chicken rounded it all out. It all was very good.Tasty Asian is a nice little gem, that is really kind of hidden from public view. While there I noticed a few people pop in and out to pick up their to-go orders. Yep, this is the perfect place for that! A nice easy meal, that is something different, with leftovers galore. Yes, I have found my new, Tasty Asian restaurant!"
"Little Asia Cuisine is located in a strip mall in Phoenix. They offer sushi, Hawaiian big plates, Thai soups, ramens, mohinga (Burmese fish noodle soup), rice dishes, noodle dishes, American Chinese and MORE! It's not a fancy place but it seems sparkling clean. It looks like you order at the counter and pay type of place so that is what we did. Other people that came in after us just sat themselves and the girl behind the counter waited on them so I think it rolls either way?We shared three dishes.Chicken dumplings - TASTY but greasy.Mohinga (fish noodle soup) - I am not an expert on Burmese cuisine so I don't know if this is a lighter, thinner style with less texture or just not taken as far comparing to the other ones I've tried. Spicy chicken fried rice - large generous portion. #3 heat is REALLY HOT! fresh food. Not very flavorful just HOT!There is so much on the menu. I don't know their sweet spots.Prices are very reasonable. It seemed like 80% of the menu is less than $10.They have some potential here.3 stars is A-OK on Yelp and means Worth Trying!3.5 stars"
"Stopped by Thai Rama with some co-workers for lunch. The place was nearly full when we arrived so that was a good sign that this place is good. Eventually our waitress took our drink and food orders but it was a bit of a wait. It wasn't as long as the actual wait for the food though :( I'm going to assume that the kitchen was short staffed since the place was full but it did take quite a while to get our food. Took a little over an hour from the time we arrived to the time we left. Not great for a lunch break during the week. However, the food was great. I got the red curry with mild heat (the lowest possible) and it was very flavorful. I usually go for yellow curry but I'd definitely get the red here again. The lunch special also comes with some fried wontons, an egg roll and some sweet and sour sauce. It was all very tasty and I would definitely come back again. Just hoping that next time they are able to being the food out quite a bit quicker."
"Stop by for a quick lunch after flying into Phoenix. I wanted Thai food and am glad they were open. Ordered the Pad See Eww lunch special. The flavor of the dish was satisfying, and it hit the spot. Service was good and seemed like there's regulars always visiting."
"Tasty Chicken SandwichThink I found a new favorite when it comes to chicken sandwiches/strips/fries. The food at Chickii is really tasty. Chickii is serving up excellent fried chicken sandwich/strips with an Asian flair, and these sandwiches/strips are large, really large and I really like that you can customize your level of heat. I went with medium but on my next visit I might kick it up a level. On this visit we shared the chickii sandwich, tender meals, fries, drinks and the soft serve. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served pipping hot . The chicken was so juicy, not over cooked like so many other places. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle and the fries were crispy served hot and the honey orange sauce was the perfect pairing.I can't wait to go back and try the wings. Delicious food, friendly staff, family owned. The owner even let us try a few of the sauces before ordering, hows that for customer service, we will definitely be back."
"I'm not into Tai cooking, however I joined my sister there for dinner and I had the Orange Chicken plate and it was delicious. Good people too.Thank you!"
"I work about a 5-minute walk from Thai Basil, so my coworkers and I frequent this restaurant for takeout.I love Thai Basil's curry! I prefer green curry, but the yellow curry (pictured) is also excellent. Both the curry flavor and consistency are spot-on with a generous portion. I enjoy the pad see ew and pad thai as both have rich flavors. However, in general I find the vegetables to be a bit too crunchy/undercooked."
"Deliciousness I am so glad we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is spot on.This restaurant has an extensive menu with many choices, their will be something to satisfy everyone's craving. On this visit we shared a few diffrent dishes and all were delicious. The flavors and dish combinations are delicious. on this visit I had the Oad Thai with pork and it was delicious. My sister had the shrimp cashew which was also delicious. We shared the crab Rangoon and pot stickers as appetizers and they are both great.Highly recommend this restaurant. Great prices, delicious food, friendly service, I will definitely be back."
