"We were craving some Thai food for lunch and there was a few options, but we settled on this one. This was my first time at this restaurant and there was enough parking spots on a weekend afternoon. There was one other family dining when we arrived, and a few more came while we were there.We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizers, and they came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious! Crispy, hot, and creamy cheese/crab filling. For my entree, I chose the drunken noodles with tofu, spice level 4/5. My dining companion ordered their yellow curry with tofu, spice level 3/5.Our food came out and we dug in. My dish was not piping hot, but moderately warm with some hot spots in the middle. There wasn't enough sauce/flavors and the noodles were more on the mushy side. The tofu was cooked well and tasted great. My dish was not spicy, maybe a 2 or 3, so I added some Sriracha sauce. I tried the yellow curry and it was pretty good.Service was friendly and our waters were refilled appropriately. I may try different dishes if I return in the future, but in the meantime I will choose other Thai restaurants."

"China Basil has become my partner and I's new favorite Chinese restaurant! We've ordered take out from them a few times and it always hits the spot. My go to has been the delicious teriyaki chicken bowl though I've also tried the sesame chicken which is good as well. My partner always orders the honey crispy chicken which he raves about. The servings are a great size, and the staff are very friendly every time we drop in. We highly recommend China Basil!"

"Stop #13 on our Vegan Summer Journey was an actual delivery pick-up for Krua Thai Cuisine. The wife has been wanting to try this place out for a while now so since the lunch deals are pretty good she decided to order some food online. It worked out really well because it is near an Aldi store that we like to grocery shop at. My wife ordered the Thai Fried Rice with Tofu for me and she had the Pad Thai. I get home with the food to discover that my fried rice had chicken in it instead of tofu. Naturally, I was upset so my wife called and they immediately issued a refund to her card. So, since the customer service was good I decided to keep the rating at 4 stars instead of 3. I don't know if I need to return but the food was good despite the mistake (I removed all of the chicken) and the restaurant itself was very clean. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!"

Started off with a Mango Martini and my sister had the Lychee Strawberry Martini. Both were refreshingly fantastic! Next came the appetizers. We had the Shrimp Summer Rolls and Sweet Potato. They both tasted great with their accompanied sauces, but I really have to express how much I absolutely could not get enough of those deliciously crisp sweet potatoes. It was unexpectedly on another level of yum! I already know I'll be craving those!As for the Entree, we opted to split the Thai BBQ Pork plate. It was cooked to perfection; nice and juicy! The Zen Sauce hit taste buds nicely. Let's just say the plate was spotless when we were through.I absolutely recommend this place, if ever you're in Downtown Phoenix. "Mama Thai Kitchen has a great menu and good location in an area of South Chandler that isn't too crowded. I love that they have outdoor seating and the service is always very prompt. The overall prices are fair for Thai food and there is a full bar available.The portions are decent, and I recommend the soups as they are a standout on the menu. The flavors are good, and I would go a little higher on the heat scale as they are used to catering to a crowd that often doesn't like spice. We tried a couple of common Thai staples and everything had great flavor and a nice presentation. I would pass on the spring rolls and orange chicken as the dishes were on the smaller side and instead focus on more traditional items. Overall, a really good spot and definitely someplace we plan to visit more often."

"Yupha's Thai Kitchen has been a favorite go to spot of mine for years! Was out with my son and we were getting hungry and I suggested we head over to Yupha's for lunch. After checking out the menu I went with Pad Prew Wan lunch special. The lunch special comes with soup, salad with a warm peanut sauce dressing which is plate lickin good and a fried spring roll,I went with chicken for my Pad Prew Wan, and it was sauteed in sweet and sour sauce with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pineapples, bell peppers, scallions, and some steamed white rice. It got it on the spicy side because spicy sweet is my favorite taste combo.The service was great, and the food was delish as always. If you haven't been to Yupha's you should go give them a try!"

"This place just opened and , boy, are we happy about that!The place has a great location and ample parking. The inside is really clean and bright. Lots of booth seating. The menu is pretty all encompassing. Lots of styles and variations to choose from, no matter your taste. We started with the crab Rangoon appetizer. Really delicious small bites with a nice sauce. My wife had the green curry with chicken (mild spice) which she thought was very tasty. She did think it was a bit above mild in spice level in her tasting opinion. I had to try it to verify. Yeah, maybe a little spicy but not by much for my buds. I went with the drunken noodles with shrimp which was very tasty as well. Lots of shrimp in the dish too. The service was fantastic. The two young ladies working the front were both super friendly and helpful in navigating their big menu. We happened to meet the owner during our visit and learned he is also a Sun City resident. So this is truly a local business. We can't wait to get back to try some other menu items!"

"My husband and I both had Cafe de Bangkok bookmarked for quite some time and finally got the opportunity to stop by for dinner. We had gone in the late afternoon, around 4:30pm on a Saturday. As expected, they weren't very busy but had more people comeing in as it grew closer to 5pm.Our sever made some recommendations from their menu; we went with the Yellow Curry with chicken (mild / medium), Guay Teaw Nam Tok (hot), and roti bread. The curry was nice and thick with a good amount to chicken and potatoes, it also had really good flavor. I typically don't like much spice but agreed with the recommended mild/medium spice level as it added a nice kick. My husband really enjoyed the noodle soup. It had a nice broth that had a good balance of spiciness and tartness, it came with a nice filling amount of noodles and pork/meatballs.Overall, we were very satisfied with our food. Their menu consists of a lot of the traditional items you'd expect to see at a Thai restaurant but they have some that I've never heard of before as well. I'm looking forward to returning to dine here again!"

I found La Thai's cuisine on a Yelp search and headed that way from my hotel in the Biltmore district. The drive was definitely a stretch, but it was worth it.When I arrived, a nice lady greeted me from the front reception desk and quickly sat me down. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and during the early dinner service, they were only using one portion of the restaurant. The other side was sectioned off and I imagine it's a preferred side once it's get busy for dinner as it has a romantic design to it. I ordered the following as described on their menu:1) Thai BBQ -- grilled meat marinated with Thai herbs and spices. Served with sauteed vegetables and cilantro-jalepeno sauce. Choose Chicken or Pork. ($15)2) Papaya Salad -- fresh green papaya tossed with grilled shrimp (2), tomato, and carrots in lime dressing ($14) 3) Pineapple Curry -- pineapple red curry paste, coconut milk, pineapple, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, snow peas, and kaffir lime leaves ($15)The pineapple curry was the highlight for me. I enjoyed the creaminess of the curry with the kitchen's own take on traditional herbs and spices. The papaya salad wasn't what I expected -- they're not able to modify it like most Thai or Lao restaurants so it's dressed in just a lime based dressing (missing the fermented fish, fish sauce, etc. for me).The service was excellent and the servers did a great job managing the floor -- attentive but not overbearing. Would return to try other items on the menu."

It is obvious that they are a small mom & pop, which I really love to give a go. On this day, my wife was out of town, so I thought I would stock up on some really good leftovers. Their menu is complete with all of my Chinese favorites. Because I had never been to this restaurant, I wanted to gauge it by trying a little bit of everything! And I did! The really nice lady at the front thought I was crazy!So, lets see, let's start with the pot stickers, go with some sweet and sour pork, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young and throw in some house noodles. There, that should do it. Well, the lady brought out a big box of food. It was obvious that these were no small servings! Yikes, what did I do?I moved from a city on the west coast with really good Asian. An honestly, for the most part, many phoenix Asian restaurants just don't compare. The nice lady at the front told me that their food was really good, so I'm ready to eat! And I have a lot to eat! There is a Chinese restaurant near me at Dysart and Indian school that I really don't care too much for, so I know I will be comparing this food to that.So, on to the food. To me it was a solid 4 out of 5 which is really good for this area. The pot stickers were pretty good, better than I had previously had. The honey walnut prawns were my favorite and as good as any I had, a real must try. Let's see, the Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork really measured up and the house Lo Mein noodles with beef, shrimp & chicken rounded it all out. It all was very good.Tasty Asian is a nice little gem, that is really kind of hidden from public view. While there I noticed a few people pop in and out to pick up their to-go orders. Yep, this is the perfect place for that! A nice easy meal, that is something different, with leftovers galore. Yes, I have found my new, Tasty Asian restaurant!"

They offer sushi, Hawaiian big plates, Thai soups, ramens, mohinga (Burmese fish noodle soup), rice dishes, noodle dishes, American Chinese and MORE! It's not a fancy place but it seems sparkling clean. It looks like you order at the counter and pay type of place so that is what we did. Other people that came in after us just sat themselves and the girl behind the counter waited on them so I think it rolls either way?We shared three dishes.Chicken dumplings - TASTY but greasy.Mohinga (fish noodle soup) - I am not an expert on Burmese cuisine so I don't know if this is a lighter, thinner style with less texture or just not taken as far comparing to the other ones I've tried. Spicy chicken fried rice - large generous portion. #3 heat is REALLY HOT! fresh food. Not very flavorful just HOT!There is so much on the menu. I don't know their sweet spots.Prices are very reasonable. It seemed like 80% of the menu is less than $10.They have some potential here.3 stars is A-OK on Yelp and means Worth Trying!3.5 stars"

"Stopped by Thai Rama with some co-workers for lunch. The place was nearly full when we arrived so that was a good sign that this place is good. Eventually our waitress took our drink and food orders but it was a bit of a wait. It wasn't as long as the actual wait for the food though :( I'm going to assume that the kitchen was short staffed since the place was full but it did take quite a while to get our food. Took a little over an hour from the time we arrived to the time we left. Not great for a lunch break during the week. However, the food was great. I got the red curry with mild heat (the lowest possible) and it was very flavorful. I usually go for yellow curry but I'd definitely get the red here again. The lunch special also comes with some fried wontons, an egg roll and some sweet and sour sauce. It was all very tasty and I would definitely come back again. Just hoping that next time they are able to being the food out quite a bit quicker."

Chickii is serving up excellent fried chicken sandwich/strips with an Asian flair, and these sandwiches/strips are large, really large and I really like that you can customize your level of heat.  I went with medium but on my next visit I might kick it up a level.On this visit we shared the chickii sandwich, tender meals, fries, drinks and the soft serve. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served pipping hot . The chicken was so juicy, not over cooked like so many other places. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle and the fries were crispy served hot and the honey orange sauce was the perfect pairing.I can't wait to go back and try the wings. Delicious food, friendly staff, family owned. The owner even let us try a few of the sauces before ordering, hows that for customer service, we will definitely be back."

I enjoy the pad see ew and pad thai as both have rich flavors. However, in general I find the vegetables to be a bit too crunchy/undercooked."
