Sushi with son dinner and we decided to try this place which is new to us. If you're looking for a fancy decorative restaurant this isn't it. But if you are looking for pleasant staff and solid rolls this is definitely the spot. It is a small neighborhood type place. It can get busy which can lead to a wait but we lucked out. We ordered gyoza, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, spider roll and the volcano roll. All were delicious! Staff was friendly without over doing it and EFFICIENT, but not in the rush you off way. Attentive to topping off drinks, clearing empty serving plates, checking in, etc. I'd definitely pop back in for the rolls and other menu items!

After violent craving sushi, I decided to give Sushi Rock & Grill a try. The dining room is small but they turn tables quickly. The menu has a wide variety of options from basic rolls, fancy rolls, fried rice, etc. Appetizers: edamame, shumai, crab bombs, seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was very tasty! They put it over lettuce which was different for me but had great flavor. The crab bombs are there play on crab Rangoon. This was alright, needed more crab for me. Sushi rolls: Tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll. The tuna roll is pretty big, I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation. The shrimp tempura roll had a crab mix in it which made it a bit different than the usual. The service was very friendly and very fast! At times I did feel a bit rushed. I recommend looking at the menu before coming. We were asked if we were ready to order probably 3 times in the span of 10 minutes. Because it's so small they want to turn tables quickly. For dessert we got the green tea ice cream. It was AMAZING! Probably the best item I ate there. Would go back just for the ice cream!

First time coming here and their menu is fairly large so we wanted to look through our different options before ordering. However we felt really rushed since literally 2-3min after we sat down they asked for us to order an appetizer (we haven't gotten our waters yet) and obviously we haven't even looked through the menu--we just said jalapeño poppers on the spot but to be fair they were pretty good--then around 7-10min later they came back to ask us to order our entrees but we were still stuck on choosing between the different rolls and the server got upset and yelled in Chinese to the other workers, "They're still not ready yet." Overall the food is decent and I guess I can understand why they try to rush since the place is very small and they want to serve other customers but I honestly don't think I'll be coming back here again.Side note, the beef udon's portion was huge and only $10 which is a steal in this economy!

We got sushi togo from here and were so amazed with the quality and taste! Pricing was good too for what you get. Alaska Roll- this was so refreshing and the salmon was soo good! $13Crazy Yellowtail- yellowtail with a kick of spicy from the jalapeño and sriracha sauce. $17Lollipop Roll- this had a mix of salmon, yellowtail, and tuna so that you get a little bit of everything in one roll! It is wrapped in cucumber so it's refreshing and lite so that you can try more sushi rolls! $17Blossom- this was very impressive with how much tuna it came in. Inside the roll was salmon and then topped with tuna on top. Finishing off with tuna sashimi rose in the middle. $20I'm excited to go back and try the sushi in person next time!!

As a sushi connoisseur, I try to find a good sushi spot every where I travel. My sister found this spot and we decided to hit it up. Seating area is small but typical for most sushi spots. We came in deep with a party of 6 and they were able to accommodate. Sushi:Everything was delicious. The main reason we came here was because we had seen the Blossom roll and HAD to try it. It met its expectations with presentation and taste. I also ended up getting salmon sashimi and it came with a side of picked wasabi that was the perfect amount of spicy to pick the smooth salmon. Chefs kiss! Everyone else loved their sushi. Baked salmon roll, sunshine roll, dragon roll, lobster roll, and tuna nigiri were all eating and plates were clean! Definitely recommend coming here if you're ever in Arizona.

Attention every fan of Sushi Rock. There is a new chef in town that's making new statements in the presentation of his creations. I tried the Sashima lunch and this is how is was presented. If you haven't been here recently and you love sushi, don't miss out on this experience.

Watch out, look out; epic level sushi ahead!! Sushi Rock & Grill (SRG) is a hidden gem tucked away in Gilbert. Lost among suburban housing and next to a fitness club, SRG is a gem. We went on a Sunday and were happy to find that it was happy hour prices all day. They seated us quickly and had our beverages asap. The appetizers were awesome! Takoyaki, on point, so good! The gyoza was perfectly cooked. Now the sushi...just freaking amazing! Hands down the absolute best sushi I have had in a long time. We ordered the sashimi and it was delicious. Only had a single roll as we wanted to sample the nigiri and sashimi. That roll was flavorful and next time we will try some more.Needless to say, if you are around Gilbert, then stop by Sushi Rock & Grill. If on a Sunday, what are you waiting for!
