I definitely couldn't come close to finishing the rolls I ordered. Awesome flavor combo with a great fusion twist."

Our food came out one plate at a time and their were five of us. Then when I asked the waitress for a mango margarita she told me they had no ice. I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt and ordered a sangria incase she didn't have ice. But my hubby did put her on the spot when she brought his michelada with ice in it. Then she scurried back and made my margarita. I was dumb founded and didn't apologized then handed me the margarita. We ordered a chowmein mixed with shrimp and chicken, buffalo chicken wings with fries, two ceviche tostada's and I ordered my favorite guamuchilito sushi. Along with jarritos and sprite. I give it four stars because the food was delicious and I hope to return on another visit to phoenix."

We later found out that it was their soft opening week. The space is clean, modern, and minimalistic. It's open concept and you can watch the chefs at work. The bar half indoor, half outdoor.Reservations are recommended, but they did not turn us away. They said the wait would be 20-30 minutes and we could grab a drink at the bar. We went up to the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered the matcha hai and my husband requested a mocktail. He told the bartender to surprise him and he came up with a tasty one with ramen! The matcha hai comes with green tea, rice shochu, and lemon juice. It was quite refreshing. We were seated at the bar shortly after getting our drinks. We ordered the following:Fried shishito peppers $12Miso soup $5O-toro $22Dillish tuna roll $20Hamachi lime roll $20Saikyo miso pudding $8We started with fried shishito peppers, miso soup, and the o-toro. The o-toro is the fattiest tuna belly was my favorite from the night. It melted in my mouth. The dillish tuna roll and hamachi lime roll were also stellar. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We ended the meal with saikyo miso pudding, which has saikyo miso, custard, kokuto syrup, and miso powder. It was incredible. The staff was wonderful. They have some kinks to work out, but given it was only their first few weeks of opening, they did great. We are looking forward to returning soon!"

It's really close to our houses, epic happy hour pricing, and pretty decent sushi overall. We ordered sashimi chefs selection and spicy tuna roll, which might have been mistaken for a spicy California roll. Either way, it was still good for the prices. Decent portions for the chicken teriyaki meal. Also, decent service, but it seemed like they were group servicing as we had to tell 2 different servers what our drink orders were. Would come back for sure!"

Lambert P. "Koi Poke is located inside of a strip mall at North Pima and Legacy near Ironwood Village. This is a build your own bowl kind of place. I don't recall seeing any premade options however the choices are exponential considering layout of ingredients. Chicken or fish bowl and size is also determined by scoops of protein available with base of mixed veg or brown or white rice. Large is 4, medium is 3 and small is 2 scoops of protein. The choices for fish are top quality choices ranging from octopus, shrimp, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna (mixed), Hawaiian tuna (marinated) and maybe another I'm missing. Toppings and fillers are all included except lobster and avocado which are extra but not much more. My wife asked for avocado and while it's another 2 bucks it's half an avocado. They also have a full bar and the servings are very generous for the price and quality. This is the best poke we've had on the continent by far. Excellent customer service and very clean place. I noticed many students coming in for dine in or take out. That says a lot considering there is a McDonald's right next door. Amazing meal!"

He and his staff once again came through with quick, attentive service and the fresh, delicious food. We left nothing behind.Since I'll be in this area more often now, I know I'll continue to come back again and again. The only things that could make this even better is if they had Ikura and Uni!!! I can live without Nemo, but I'd love for them to add it to their menu.Still, at the prices they have going, it's an unbelievable deal! I am happy to support this business and will continue to show them love. Thank you, David, and the rest of the Crazy Tuna staff!"

I made reservations (for 9 of us) ahead of time and had zero wait and were impressed by the friendly service and exciting hibachi show. Highly recommend the filet and scallops and the langostino hand roll.We had NY strip steak, filet mignon, chicken, shrimp and scallops, and it was all super, soft, delicious and packed with flavor. Our chef sure out on an eventful dinner show. The kids LOVED IT. The onion train was just the best. I am so happy this place is operating like it used to be and that it survived the pandemic. It's not a fancy place, more of a casual restaurant with a laid back vibe.I remember the service was slow, but the food was good. Everything we ordered was made fresh and there wasn't anything to complain about. Oh yeah, B.Y.O.T.!! Lol That is:BringYour OwnTajinHahahahaha!!! There's something about it that just adds a lil "feisty-ness" to the sushi. The Gyoza was cooked just right, and with a little soy sauce it was LIT! The Viking Roll was probably our fave of them all, with the Alaska coming in a close second. Let me tell you, if you haven't tried a sushi roll with lemon slices on top, you're missing out!! Just trust me on that one!I'm not sure if this location is part of a chain, because I ate at a Sushi Neko in Vegas back in January. That one was a bit fancier. In any case, this Sushi Neko is a decent place for some basic rolls and some unique ones, too. Try it out!"

Love the look, feel and atmosphere inside, upscale, but casual enough for lunch, but also being sleek enough for an elegant dinner date. Hostess was friendly, and seated us right away, dining area was a choice of tables or booths. Our waiter got us drinks quickly and walked us through the menu. We tried different things on the menu based on recommendations and glad we did. Everything was amazing!!! Some of it seriously blew our mind and our taste buds. I have had Sashimi before, but none have been close to what we had at Umami. Umami is on the next level of dining from seafood to short-ribs. We will definitely be back to further explore the menu as everything we tried really did impress and left us wanting more, but at a certain point you have to push away and save some exploration for future visits. You can only indulge so much on the first visit of what will be many more."

We've went 4 times and I loved it there first 2 times all caution and full explaining happened, 3rd time not as much, but it was take out so I leave some room for miscommunication there. 4th time was so disappointing... The rolls are amazing and fresh. I truly love it at Trappers, but more training is needed for servers. I've noticed some are very knowledgeable about gluten free, others not so much at all. Today was awful as I was served a roll with tempura and a roll with onion crunch or something?!? There was a definite crunch when I bit into it! It was delicious, but unfortunately will make me sick. Our rolls were all mixed up as well so what I clearly ordered as gluten free, being specific about not having tempura, anything crunchy and to use gf teriyaki and gf soy sauce. My rolls came on 2 different plates, plated with non gluten free rolls. Gluten free food should ALWAYS be served on a separate plate, failure of kitchen and the server who should be checking the order prior to serving. I ate one piece and quickly caught the server and let her know... I don't know her name as I was also not offered a receipt. The way it was handled was- "The kitchen messed up" as she labeled it Celiac (she said they had selective reading and laughed) It's not a joke, it truly makes me sick, for extended periods time...not funny. She also said I can keep the rolls incorrectly made... (The ones I can't eat...) I also got to wait again for my food to be made, I went to Safeway while the rest of the group ate. Returned and my food still wasn't ready so that pretty much sucked too. Disappointed..."

The garlic edamame was a game changer!! I loved the garlicky, soy sauce coating, and a nice change up from the standard lightly salted style I'm used to. I love seaweed salad, and the one here is held up to others I've had in the past. Refreshing with a nice crunch! We ordered so many rolls and we were all truly impressed from start to finish. I can't remember the names of all of them (my dad did the ordering) but some favorites include the Mr. Perfect, OMG, and tuna nigiri. I'm an AZ native and haven't had great success finding fresh seafood and I love fish. I was so excited!Atmosphere, stuffy and the server was very detached. I ordered the special halibut with risotto and asparagus. The fish was so overcooked, it had a thin crust which I had to stab with my fork to get through. The fish was so dry, it was difficult to eat. The risotto was mushy with no flavor. I stopped eating after 3 bites and just sat there watching my husband struggle to cut and eat his steak. There was so much fat on his steak that the cut off and chewed fat was piling high on the plate. The server came by several times and never once asked why I wasn't eating my fish or why there was a pile of fat on my husband's plate. Never. My husband is too shy to say anything but in the end, there was more fat and gristle on his plate than actual consumed steak. He tried giving a bite and I couldn't chew it.Over and over the server ignored obvious problems until he brought the check. I had to ask him if he saw I didn't eat my food and he looked bewildered. I told him the fish was inedible and at $55, I needed to send it back. I never do that but it was just so expensive. My husband's steak was also $55.The server asked if I wanted anything else. We had been there over an hour and I was just done. I said no and he offered to take it off the bill. I thanked him.We still tipped him for the full bill but left saying that we will never come back. Jennica S. "My boyfriend mentioned that this is one of the better sushi spots he has had while living in Arizona, and I must agree that it is very quality! Sake Haus gives off a traditional and contemporary aesthetic, and the dimly lit restaurant feels like I am underground somewhere. If you are familiar with Bang Bang in San Diego, then I am thinking of just that. It is also similar that it is a bit on the pricier side, but this was very much worth it. The menu is small, but packed with flavor. It offers a few appetizers, rolls, nigiri and sashimi. There is an omakase, which is essentially five different pieces of nigiri, and I believe at least one of the pieces changes every so often. It was mentioned that it is a chef-styled place as in the chef chooses what to serve on that day. I will say my favorite thing was the wagyu nigiri -- so much that we ordered more. The ryujin, bad & buri, and wagyu fat pork gyoza (we ordered two) were also top tier. Honestly, all of it was delicious, and I got the kin (gold) omakase, and each piece was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi salad was also tasty, but I wish the dressing was more prevalent and more cucumbers (and protein of course). Overall, everything was 10/10 (or 5/5 because it is Yelp). Our waiter was a gentleman with a ponytail (and a smiley piercing) and he was great! He was so attentive and chill. I can't remember his name and I didn't get my receipt to look for it, but shoutout to him, especially because I called him over to pay for the meal before my boyfriend got back from the bathroom. It was cool because he announced it like, "If there's nothing else you need, then you're good to go. The bill has been taken care of, she paid for it" and that was great. I didn't know he was going to do that, but it made it that much better. I would definitely come back!"
