Sushi Ave Express

Amazing food here consistently. The staff is very sweet as well, last time I brought my baby girl in they were so kind to her. Even gave her a free juice that she hadn't tried before. Love that the variety here allows the whole family to enjoy different styles of dishes.

went in to place an order the restaurant was empty on a Sunday afternoon. I'll just be to the point i probably wouldn't come back here it's like a 6/10 overall Gyoza was good but it's hard to mess them upSalon roll taste fishy and you can tell it's not high quality fresh salmon Vegas roll is also very blah with hardly any salmon i hate that the pieces aren't cut evenly bc why is the end gigantic The eel sauce was chunky??? And doesn't taste like eel sauce weird This didn't hit the spot skkkiiippp

I don't leave poor reviews unless the product and service are really bad, and this case it was. I asked the girl at the cashier what was in Philly Roll since it was the special of the day. She didn't know. I laughed and said "You must not eat sushi." She said, "No, it's nasty."Maybe it's only because she's never tried good sushi. The sashimi on my Rainbow Roll was cut so thin it was almost nonexistent.Also, don't drink the free lemon water offered. It had mold living floating in it. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I've been on the hunt for good sushi in this area and decided to pop in with a family member. The atmosphere is really authentic and fresh, with various types of Asian snacks you can buy and a ramen bar where you can make Instant Noodles yourself (for a hefty price of $6). However, it was around 85 You order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready. The woman at the front was very friendly and helpful when deciding what we wanted to order. We went for an order of California Rolls, I got an Orange Chicken Bento Box, and my mom got the teriyaki chicken. The food took about 40 minutes to come out, which was disappointingly long for a place labeled "Express". The food, however, was pretty tasty. We weren't overly impressed with the California Rolls but both of our entrees were good. My orange chicken was crispy and the bento box comes with soup, gyozas, grilled vegetables, salad, and rice.Overall, it's a cute spot but I'm not sure I'd come back due to the wait time and ridiculously hot temperature of the building.

The staff was friendly and nice. The was only one person at the register and a cook in the back. Their food is pretty good for an express restaurant. There isn't much seating inside but that's to be expected from a quick service restaurant. They only had four tables that fit four people each unless you squeeze more people on the booth side of the two tables along the wall. They have ramen all along one side of the wall. You can make your own ramen there. They also have utensils and a water dispenser along the same wall. There is a large tv and they play Korean songs in the restaurant or at least while I was there. They have quick spots to park at in the front for take out. I believe they are 15 minutes only spots. If you want to be there longer you should park around the north side of the plaza. I enjoyed the sushi rolls as well as the lunch of katsu chicken with salad and gyoza. The dumpling had a nice firm wrapper. I like that. I don't like mushy gyoza. The salad tasted fresh with a nice dressing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and light. The salmon roll has six slices. The spicy tuna has 8 slices.For some reason my photos never seem to add on Yelp even though I try to submit them several times. I also even try to submit them in the smallest format possible and they still aren't taking. Nothing to do with the business.

Our spot was hit! We had a few standard rolls, which were pretty good. Their Phoenix Suns roll was really tasty we also had a few nigiri tuna, salmon, and sweet egg. I found them to taste different from what I've had in the past; very citrusy? ‍ It wasn't necessarily bad, but unexpected. If I were to go back (probably not, since I'm only visiting the area), I would try their Korean cuisine.In the end, I recommend Sushi Ave Express. Like I said, I'm willing to try it again

A no frills convenience store that happens to sell sushi rolls on the side. Big emphasis on the express element as my order has always been completed within 10 minutes. Although the takeout experience has been easy, there is an up charge with DoorDash so I suggest ordering in person if possible.=ORDERED=*Tuna Mayo Kimbap: my least favorite roll of the three. The tuna filing was grainy and bland. More mayonnaise would have given some much needed moisture and binding. The egg and pickled radish were dried out so they didn't contribute the usual sweetness. *Yellowtail Roll (6 pcs): heavier on the rice compared to the cut of yellowtail. Still I enjoyed the classic fattiness that went well with the vinegary rice. Although the presentation was rough, taste was decent. *Tuna Roll (6 pcs): shared the same shoddy presentation but somehow had even stranger cuts of fish. The ends had an itty piece of tuna while the center pieces contained two chunks. While it tasted fine, consistency would have been appreciated. Not my favorite sushi spot in Gilbert but it's definitely efficient during lunch hours. They offered various instant noodle options and toppings for those wanting an even faster meal. The pricing was reasonable so I hope the consistency improves so this can be better than 3 stars.

Cool little place to grab a quick bite if you're craving some ramen and want to get out!I got the spicy pork bento box and it was out in no time at all. It was delicious and the service was friendly. If my office was closer, I'd probably be in here for lunch everyday.

Literally... I would eat here everyday if I could. The food is to die for. There are 3 things that I love about sushi avenue.. listen closely!1. Quick and wonderful customer service2. INCREDIBLE food!3. The atmosphere... There is so much culture in this restaurant. The shelves are lined with Korean snacks and goodies! Even if you don't buy them, they are fun to look at as you wait for your food!ONE MORE THING. They have a RAMEN BAR! You select the type of ramen you want, then you put it on the machine, and it cooks the ramen in about two minutes, then your done! Quick, affordable, and delicious ramen!

Food is not spectacularService very dry, no personality , it's a self-serve sushi restaurant, the funny thing is they ask for a tip but when your food is ready, they expect you to come up and get it not quite sure what I'm tipping for!!
