Scale and Feather Meadery

Once we walked in we were greeted by three very friendly people. Small tasting area but full of so much fun. They have board games and LOTS of decor to look at. We were in search of something nontraditional and stumbled upon this awesome little place. The Oatbreak Paladin and Dark Maiden were delicious.

As a non beer drinker, Im always on the hunt for places to try any other type of drink. I had tried mead at a few meaderies, but none were even remotely close to home. I stumbled upon Scale and Feathers meadery when it popped up on my gps. When you arrive you might think you are not at the right place as they are located in a sort of industrial area. When you walk in, you find yourself in a small, cozy, Game of Thrones vibe, small salon. They have multiple flavors of mead and also bottles to go. We had a flight, so we could sample those who sounded interesting and then order a pour of our favorite. But be careful! Mead, although sweet, packs a punch!Everyone who works there are so nice and knowledgeable of their products!

Amazing time @scaleandfeathermead !!! Highly recommend this establishment for a Mead brew & fermentation tour, for a flight or two of Mead to taste, or simply to gather with friends!! The owners are here and give the tour as well as pour drinks at the bar. They are extremely passionate about their business and the art of Mead Making. They are introducing new flavors that are invented and tested in-house weekly!Food is not served here currently and you can bring in outside food to enjoy with your mead. Our son turned 21 and we called up and spoke to the owner who rearranged his schedule to give us a tour next day. Outstanding! He had so many Mead factoids I thought my head would explode. I love historical facts about how we arrive at a certain etymology in our culture. I know how "Honeymoon" came to be now, as well as many other honey wine histories. Come hear some honey wine stories while tasting the Nectar of the Gods. We discovered we loved the sweeter Meads but the drys were also delicious and sophisticated in flavor. We all want to return for a Blueberry Lemon Slushie next week! Yes, it will be epic can you imagine a fruity mead Slushie on a hot summer day? Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday night celebration for my son's 21st!!!!! ‍ This Meadery is fantasy-themed, which is very cool in itself, and adds to the Meadery tavern experience. This includes all of our favorites (D&D, LOTR, PB, Doctor Who, HP, GOT, Magic, Monty Python, etc....).

Holy dungeons and dragons! What a fun meadery. They always have different seasonal flavors and the service is superb. I love all the eclectic decorations and have had a blast each time I've been here.

Just amazing! Currently sitting with my open bottle of Frostwylde- I am in love! This mead is utterly delicious. Their other flavors are amazing too- Peachy Queen, Great Gathering, , Butterbrew, Blueberry on the Inside.... Yum!! The meadery itself is a medieval delight! Walking in is so moody and you feel transported to another world. They are so friendly and always have great tips on how best to serve your mead! Love Scale & Feather!

Love the decor and service! And the mead was very delicious. Got great recommendations from the bartender. I love how chill the vibe is, and everyone is friendly and welcoming.

Amazing little hole in the wall. Beautiful ambiance with a fantasy theme through out. You HAVE to check out the fun bathroom decor. Best mead I've ever tried and I appreciate that they support local artists. They have multiple displays for table top game accessories. Lovely service, small shop vibes.

I ordered a flight with my friend paid for it left and went to 8 bit next door then they came over and accused me of ordering 3 other drinks and not paying when all we got was one flight and embarrassed us at the brewery and their mead was not good I showed them my bank statement as well for proof and they continued to accuse us of not paying
