Sakura Sushi

Really good AYCE sushi. Every specialty roll we ordered was delicious. The only one we didn't care for, which I forgot to take a picture of, was a fried spicy tuna from the regular roll list. We would definitely go back. Also...Side note. The woman who sat us at our table was very cold and rude. Lost one star simply because of her. Our waitress was awesome and super helpful, she was great!!! And, we didn't get any of the weird judgy vibes that can come with AYCE.

We always enjoy something in the sushi category for lunch/dinner whenever we can make room for it. This is a new place for us but it did not disappoint. Good variety of rolls and generous fillings (fish) and not too much rice on any of them. We were careful not to waste any food as we saw that they charge quite seriously for food waste which is fair and reasonable. We had several rolls to start to include Salmon avocado roll, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura roll, and Out of Control roll. My favorite was the Out of Control roll, so we ordered that 2 more times iirc, at least 1 more time, haha. The Eel & avocado hand roll was pretty good although I'm not familiar with hand rolls usually, so my wife interoduced me to that, but the New York roll I did not enjoy as the topping was really mushy fish paste like and the filling was so spicy I could only eat 1 piece and my wife had to eat the rest, our kids couldn't partake at all. Other items that we enjoyed included eggplant tempura, yakitori tasty but over burnt, onion rings were good, freshly fried. There wasn't vanilla ice cream (!), so I had to settle for the Green tea ice cream which was tasty, but not very flavorful. It was creamy, but kind of bland. Overall, this place was impressive in the quality and variety, but I understand that they used to offer sashimi in their AYCE lunch and that's not available anymore, so we had to settle for nigiri just to have pieces of raw fish by themselves. Of course we ate the rice from the nigiri too, but mixed those w/the delicious teriyaki grilled salmon (very good so we ordered a couple more pieces and the crunchy chicken and pork katsu w/a bit too much sauce, so the rice worked out well with those to ensure we did not waste the rice from the nigiri. Suffice to say we got creative with our consumption at this AYCE. They got all our orders correct and quick to serve, so it was a good experience and we hope to be back!

Pretty good for an ayce. If you eat the same rolls over and over you will start to feel like they are tasting the same, but a few of them were actually quite good to start with. Salmon avocado roll, rainbow roll (really delicious and just the right amount of rice with generous amounts of fish inside and on top), shrimp tempura roll (freshly fried shrimp, but kind of non descript), and Out of Control roll (very delicious and very generous fish filling, not too spicy even for my kids)Eel & avocado hand roll (pretty good) and New York roll (not that good, topping if real mushy and filling is too spicy)Eggplant tempura, yakitori tasty but over burnt, onion rings were good, freshly fried.Green tea ice cream, tasty but not very flavorful, creamy, but kind of bland.Need more dessert choices like fried donut holes or the fried bananas or something more Japanese Overall, pretty good choices, but wish they didn't take away the sashimi and some of the previously available choices and rolls.

This is my go to spot for sushi. There are very few places that include sashimi on their all you can eat menu but this place has it on the dinner menu. It's also pretty decently priced for all you can eat sushi - less than the price for 2 rolls at any other sushi spot. And for sushi in a land locked state, its pretty good. Possibly the freshest I've tasted, though I don't get out to try a lot given the price and quality of Sakura. The service is always good, the restaurant is clean, and we've never had to wait for a table. My usual is the avocado salad, miso soup, yellowtail and salmon (so good) sashimi, and the out of control roll, and I am always pleased. My husband usually orders about 60 pieces of sashimi and they haven't kicked us out yet!

We drove all the way from west valley just to try this AYCE sushi place and it was totally worth it!! We were so surprised by the quality of the fish and how they offered sashimi too. The service was quick and we enjoyed everything that came out. It's super clean inside with lots of seating and very nice decor. I will absolutely be coming again!

I hate writing bad reviews. But I told myself when I started, I would be truthful. The restaurant was very nice on the inside. The hostess and servers were attentive. The food came out fast. The appetizers were OK. However, the sushi... I really don't know how to put it. It was so bland that I've had plain rice with more flavor. Not a trace of vinegar or salt or anything else in the rice that I could taste. Even the ingredients in the rolls were bland. The eel sauce and mayo was the only taste discernable. It was disappointing to say the least for $80 for two people.

I go to Sakura Sushi for the all you can eat sushi. I try my best to go when I'm really hungry but they do too good of a job of getting me full quickly. I love their salmon nigiri. The service is pretty good, they seat you immediately. The ambience is pretty comfortable, as the restaurant is usually busy but not over-crowded. I have also tried their udon and tempura before too and they have been excellent. My favorite part about this place is that you can order pretty much everything by the piece, as in you can order just 1 piece of gyoza or just 1 piece of broccoli tempura. This is great if you want to try something new but don't want to risk spending too much money. The managers are always trying to convince you to eat the free ice cream for dessert but I'm always too full!

We have been comparing this place to other sushi AYCE and this place is clearly the best deal. Especially since you can get unlimited sashimi. Other places greatly limit the amount or hike up the price for sashimi.People are very friendly.I just posted their take out menu (see 4 photos).I do not know if you can order off those menus as opposed to AYCE. I should ask but we always get AYCE.

Here's my breakdown:- service - 5 stars- food - 3 stars- ambiance - 4 starsCame in to do the all you can eat sushi. The service was nice and friendly and very attentive. They were also fast and efficient in bringing out the food. The food, however, was mediocre at best, the quality of the fish was a lower grade, and there was not a lot of variety on the menu. The fish was chewy and stringy. Parking was easy, interior was OK, bathrooms were reasonably clean.

We went here for a family dinner together. Our service was quick, our server did a great job at getting the food out pretty quickly and the other staff did a great job making sure dishes were cleaned off the tables in a timely manner. There were six of us at our table and the place was packed, there was only one time they forgot to bring an order that was put in for the all you can eat thing otherwise we were happy with the service. The food was good, I really enjoyed everything I received except for one item & that was only because the menu didn't describe what was in one of the rolls and I didn't realize an ingredient I didn't like was in it.We all ordered different foods & everything was cooked to the right temp and was delicious. We would be happy to come back again in the future. The restaurant was clean & comfortable.
