Friends, Romans, country men, lend me your beers..."The Spirit himself testifies with our spirits..." (Romans 8:1)We went here for spirits following my graduation dinner. I asked my sister to take us to a local, friendly dive that wasn't too crowded and Romans didn't disappoint. Some of the locals were overly friendly, some a little combative in a fun way, but all were engaging, and "though they claimed to be wise, they became fools" after a few cocktails. (Romans 1:22)"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?" (Romans 6:1). Sure.P.s. "Let no debt remain outstanding," (Romans 13:8), which is probably why it's cash only.

Good dive bar. Cash only. They don't serve draft beer after 8 though, which is a bit odd. Karaoke nights are a bit loud and terrible

Fun spot, stopped in for some birthday drinks with my boyfriend. The staff was super friendly, food was good and met a bunch of really nice people

Bring cash! They claim there is a sign but there isn't. The bar owns the ATM in the back that charges $3.50 and you can't pull from a credit card, so you have trk use a debit card (if you have one)Service was shit, my beer was empty for about 30 mins. Both tenders were busy chatting with their buddies.I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies.

Love this whole in the wall bar...they have horse, betting, cheap drinks and good clientele. Haven't tried their food but from the looks of it, seems good. Its a cash only bar too.

Great size dance floor and a good place to listen to live music. Great service and tasty wings.

If your not a local regular steer clear of this place. CASH ONLY bar for years now and same looks and treatment as if you were visiting from California. They do nothing to earn your business and have nothing to offer unless they know your face.

This is a hidden gem! Service is outstanding and staff goes above and beyond! It's funny to read the negative reviews on here about it being cash only because when you walk up to the bar, there are signs literally all over. They have pool tables, pinball machine, darts, and shuffle board! They even have horse betting! Food is great and priced fairly, happy hour brings the already low drink prices down again even on weekends! Do yourself a favor, skip the westgate drink prices and try this local business instead. You won't be disappointed! Just don't forget your cash

This bar!! I've been here a few times. The food was amazing, I had the blue moon burger and it was AMAZING! Our bartender Lindsey was amazing and very attentive to everything! Will come back every year during Nascar!! Very clean dive bar and original. Full of history and not replaceable!
