"This place is a solid 3.5 stars. I went two days in a row (1/15-16/2022) because I was dying for poke. A large poke bowl with 3 scoops of protein is about $15.50 including tax. As someone with celiac, I was super happy that they have gluten free tamari available. Why not 4 stars? My husband ordered beef gyudon meal and it had barely any meat on it, and we noticed that they forgot his sides of green salad & mac salad, but we noticed after we already left, so it was too late to go back and get them."

"Koi Poke is located inside of a strip mall at North Pima and Legacy near Ironwood Village. This is a build your own bowl kind of place. I don't recall seeing any premade options however the choices are exponential considering layout of ingredients. Chicken or fish bowl and size is also determined by scoops of protein available with base of mixed veg or brown or white rice. Large is 4, medium is 3 and small is 2 scoops of protein. The choices for fish are top quality choices ranging from octopus, shrimp, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna (mixed), Hawaiian tuna (marinated) and maybe another I'm missing. Toppings and fillers are all included except lobster and avocado which are extra but not much more. My wife asked for avocado and while it's another 2 bucks it's half an avocado. They also have a full bar and the servings are very generous for the price and quality. This is the best poke we've had on the continent by far. Excellent customer service and very clean place. I noticed many students coming in for dine in or take out. That says a lot considering there is a McDonald's right next door. Amazing meal!"

"Delicious. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. Living in Seattle for over a dozen years, you get accustomed to sushi being EVERYWHERE. Immediately greeted by employees. Loved the paper menu and filled in our order. Reasonably priced. We both opted to try the purple rice in our meals. (I'd never had it before) it was fun and tasty. The store is clean, and music isn't too loud. LOVED the iced water dispenser, with cups for self-service. Bringing our tumblers next time. "I've been to Chula Seafood a couple of times and everything has been delicious. This past visit I got a dozen of raw oysters and the clam chowder and WOW the oysters were some of the freshest I've had in Arizona and the clam chowder was hearty, creamy, and so flavorful. This will be my go to order from now on. They have a variety of canned beer and wine. Happy hour is all day Sundays, and Monday through Saturday from 3pm to 5pm. The south Scottsdale location is an unassuming spot with plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall. They also sell seafood to go by the pound. Highly recommend this spot!"

"Arizona: A wonderful landlocked state known for sushi and Hawaiian food.Isn't that what you were thinking? ;)Pacific Rim & Sushi started off as a food truck and has since moved into this great brick and mortar. The chef grew up on the island of Kauai, so hey, that has to count for something, right?On the first visit, we ordered the $16 Loco Moco and $15 Chicken Katsu. The loco moco was salty, but the chicken katsu was really juicy. Both had portion sizes that were more than generous. The mac salad isn't my favorite, and if you know me, I'm one to usually get no rice and all mac salad, but here, I say keep the rice! It helps cut the sodium level of the brown gravy on the loco moco.What a great spot and some good eats. I'll be back again to try more of the menu."

"Pokiluv at the Arrowhead mall is a decent fast food joint. It serves Poke Bowls based on white rice with protein and fillings on top. The Hawaian Bowl was quite ok, although rather basic taken the price. The large bowl feeds two people though if not extremely hungry. The service was excellent and courteous, 5 stars for that; the estimated 6 minutes waiting time for frying the chicken was correct. After having queued too long time nearby at Johnny Rockets just to hear that their estimated waiting time would be 45 minutes for a simple basic burger (one might wonder why they do not put a sign to indicate that _before_ needing to queue), I was really happy for my alternative choise today and would try out also other bowls later."

"Although Gosan is priced higher than other poke spots, the fish and marinades have greater quality. The menu consists of sashimi, rolls, and poke bowls. There are preselected combinations but I always enjoyed making my own. The staff have always been kind and the scoops are generous. =POKE=There were standard bases of white rice, brown rice and salad. Besides the plain versions, the fish came with either a mayo, sweet or spicy marinade. The hot spicy albacore and tuna had a red chili forward profile that brought in the heat. Hawaiian tuna was a mixture of salty and sweet. The creamy wasabi tuna was mayo forward and surprisingly sweet, not my favorite as the wasabi fails to stand out. The scallops are my personal favorite as these plump mollusks soak up the sweet creamy sauce well. I was happy to see a decent selection of vegetables and fruits. Seaweed salad and imitation crab weren't priced extra. Avocado cost more to add on. Although there are sauces available, I wouldn't recommend adding on more given the high liquid content and flavorful marinades already. The sauces primarily had a soy or sriracha base. Very fast service and a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Seafood has always been fresh and I love the ingenuity of the marinades."

I'm not sure if that's because they do more meat, but it threw us off. Especially since his bowl was more expensive than mine, and mine was definitely more filling."

The service was a little...well let's just say I think he was new to serving. He had to be reminded to get things a few times. And he was the only one serving, although there were only a half dozen tables filled. He tried hard. I'll give him that.We all got ramen, so I don't know how their poke is. The ramen was average. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was at a spice level of 1 (where's the heat!) on my spice scale. Very disappointing. It was good traditional ramen, but nothing special. We probably won't come back here because there are a few other ramen places that are better. Good food. Just not great."

"Oh my Gosh! How have I never had A Poke Bowl?! Today I had some extra time for lunch out of the office and decided to try somewhere new. I'm so glad I decided to stop here. I talked a bit with the person working and decided on a Dat fire pole bowl. Ahi tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, spicy crab, cucumber, scallions, edamame , chilli flakes, spicy House, jalapeño mix and wasabi. Once I ordered it I was in and out with my food in about five minutes. I love sushi like crazy, but today it was like trying it for the first time. The fish tasted really fresh, it had just the right amount of spiciness, and a ton of flavor. It was so filling. I couldn't even finish it. If you aren't into sushi or poke bowls they have quite a few other restaurants in the same building. Seriously though...you're missing out if you don't at least try this once. You'd be hooked I guarantee it!"

"Koibito is my FAVORITE poke place in AZ so far. I miss the one that used to be in Peoria so much! I went there daily it felt like. I love all the different options and everything is FRESH! My favorite is double salmon double tuna with no base (it makes for 2 meals for me). The sweet chili lime sauce is my favorite and I love the edamame, green onions, masago, crab salad, shaved Brussels and extra seaweed salad ($1 extra). Now the large bowl I get is like $20 so yes it's a bit pricey but so is sushi and this is like my sushi with all the goodies minus rice. I wish there was one closer but who knows, maybe in the future? Until then I'll have to drive across town to get my favorite poke fix!"

"I'm a regular at Pokitrition and enjoy the freshness of the food here. Pokitrition is known for their Hawaiian inspired sushi bowls and burritos that you customize yourself. They were started by some ASU grads and have a few locations across the Valley. I came by here to try their Hawaiian BBQ inspired menu items and got some Katsu and Kalbi Short Ribs. They have spam too. I like that they are adding more items to their menu. This location is located right off the 101 near the Talking Stick area and next door to their sister store Rewind Desserts. This is a great spot to grab some Hawaiian themed cuisine and then some ice cream or boba afterwards."

A good host would say, not sure but it's a big hit here... or something. I guess I was just expecting much. Honestly, it's just okay to me. It's a hole in the wall type of location. Definitely nothing fancy. Just a place to pick up food from. I most likely will not be back just because I feel I can spend $60 at a better location with a bit more ambiance but it was worth the try... definitely not what our fellow yelpers reviewed though. 5 star? It was fun as they got to pick out their ingredients. Unfortunately after finishing them up they were still hungry. They have been eating like teenage boys lately. I don't know if the portions were extra small because they were little girls, but we paid for a normal bowl. It is a great place for a light bite to eat, but if you eat like our girls do you may still be left hungry. We did end up stopping for a second meal for them elsewhere. Everything looked fresh."

"Pokiluv is a really cool new Tempe restaurant in the office center just across the bridge over the Salt River on the northside. It has a nice upscale vibe, cool furniture(sort of a retro Jetsons homage), a nice beer wine bar with a great sushi bowl buffet. I loaded my custom bowl with ahi & marinated tuna, salmon, crab, corn, avocado, brown rice with wasabi royu sauce. Unlike many poke places my bowl had a generous amount of proteins for under $15 is a great deal for any quality poke bowl place(and I've been to quite a few in the California meccas of LA & San Diego). Service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from GM Andy-5 stars.My shrimp tempura on the side was hot & delicious.Highly recommended best Poke Bowl I've had in Tempe AZ in 2022."

My favorite thing about this place was the myriad of toppings, protein, and sauce options. We ordered the calamari, fish and a and a poke bowl salad.The calamari are heavily breaded and while crunchy the strips of calamari steak were still tender.The fish and chips are some of the best we've had, moist fish, flavorful batter and well cooked thin French fries.The poke bowl was the bomb however. Very fresh tuna with a nice kick of spice in my spicy version, plenty of pickled ginger, edamame, red onions, A few slices of avocado, fresh cucumbers, radishes, and chunks of mango. It was very flavorful and quite a large portion.Our friends ordered the fish plates and one suggestion would that be they get slightly larger plates as their food was falling off of them and hard to manage!"
