Pita Kitchen - Arrowhead

While visiting AZ, my family and I stopped by Pita Kitchen to try some Greek fare as Greek food in Hawaii is limited. On the menu, Philly Pita, Kids Chicken Swarma, Side of Falafel, Side of Pita Chips with a cilantro hummus and steak sharma bowls. We decided to eat "in" so we walked up to the counter, placed our order, took a seat and food was delivered to our table. Counter person was extremely nice and helpful as we took a good 5 minutes to choose what we wanted to try (luckily there was no line at the time). I enjoyed the Philly Pita with Gyro. Pillowy pita and flavorful gyro. I enjoyed the side order of pita and hummus (pita interestly was deep fried with a crispy outside and chewy inside and the hummus was really yummy with a mixture of regular chickpea hummus with cilantro - definitely would recommend if you like cilantro). My niece and nephew enjoyed their steak shwarma bowls. Portions were good as they were able to combine their leftovers to take home for later. I washed my pita down with a Greek Beer "Mythos" that was a great lunch complement to my pita. Taste was similar but not as bitter Heineken.

I like this place we come here often. It is one of our regular restaurants. The ambiance is quite, they used to play music but not in my last time. Customer service is good. The food is really good specially the Greek fries. The prices are reasonably because this is not just a gyro stand is a real restaurant. Plenty of sitting tables and parking lot space.

The food was just okay for me. The soup was great & the service was good! Plus it was hot and fast. I personally care less about quick, and more about quality. I'm going to try it again and order something different.

Food: 4.5 stars. We ordered a gyro pita with a side of fries and a kids meal with chicken and rice with garlic sauce instead of ranch. We also got a side of garlic sauce for the fries and my gyro. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the garlic sauce. It was just lacking that creaminess and flavor. It was a bit on the watery side for our liking. Our favorite is Greek Pita's pink garlic sauce (for comparison). The tzatziki sauce was on point though! Dill flavor was good. Not too much but you can definitely taste it in every bite of the gyro. Generous portions. Especially the side of fries! I love my fries and the fries here at Pita Kitchen are AMAZING! Crunchy exterior and potatoey fluff on the inside! Quite possibly my favorite fries. I'm definitely coming back for more!Service: We ordered for takeout on a Wednesday afternoon. There was only one family eating inside when we arrived. It was about $25 for my wife and I. She wasn't particularly hungry so that's why she ordered the kids meal. But food came out within 5 minutes with napkins, utensils and packaged up nicely with solid meal-prep containers; not just cheap styrofoam. Ambiance: The entire place has a good vibe. Clean for the most part. I did notice, while waiting for my food, there was some dusty wires hanging from the display screens overhead. I know they have been there for many years, and the collected dust can attribute to that. Overall: 5 stars! The notes above aren't enough to remove one whole star so 5 stars it is! Definitely making our way back for next time we feeling Greek foods!

Well this place changed a lot from the last time I was here and I was in the mood for a falafel and was close by so this newer menu is amazing I had the falafel with grilled vegetables and The best tahini sauce ! And the beautiful woman who took my order was so sweet and helpful the service was great and this place is clean and nice inside with music

We have been eating at this location since it opened!! We LOVE the food!!!! However, prices have increased far surpassing what is justified in my opinion. In addition, the portion sizes had decreased a lot. I used to get several meals out of one plate order (I don't eat a lot at one sitting) and now I have just a small portion leftover. There is not a lot of overhead nor many employees. It is a smaller sized location, so I compare the overhead costs of a large restaurant with dozens of employees whose food prices are similar when trying to justify the higher cost AND the smaller portions! One or the other would be expected, but not both. I do realize that most of this type of restaurant is charging more, but I would rather go to a sit-down restaurant and enjoy the experience AND the food for about the same cost.

Fast casual Greek food in the Arrowhead area is a welcome change from the chains along Bell Rd. Gyro Pita a Greek Salad and two drinks was $20. I think that's a good value. Fresh baclava rounded off the meal perfectly. Service was slightly lacking. Yelp offered a 10% discount but he forgot it at the register when we customized our orders... 4stars.

No complaints very nice portions and tasty food. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for 100%. Place is clean and nice. Service was good but you could tell guy didn't want to be their but he still had good service.

Everything I ordered through Uber Eats was fantastic. I ordered the original and the jalapeno cilantro hummus. Both were creamy and seasoned perfectly. I also got a Greek salad with a good assortment of vegetables. And the Greek dressing was delicious. I also got traditional pitas, chicken, and one steak kabob with fries, and everything tasted as fresh as it was hot when it arrived at my house in Surprise. Huge portions and packaged excellently, and last but never least, Pita Kitchen remembered all the extra sauces that I requested. Yep! I said it. They remember the sauce! Thank you, Pita Kitchen, for a fantastic first experence! I will be back.

best greek fries in the whole world i'm a teenager and this is my top choice hangout spot. i literally think about these fries daily and have come back twice in the span of a few days. the staff is also super nice!
