I haven't been here in awhile and I remember it being great so I took my bf here for his birthday earlier this week. It was so delicious we came back again today! The service is concise and friendly. The woman working does everything in there! The table has a lot of sauces and accoutrement to mix up flavors in your food which is fun. The food comes fast and is so hot and fresh. They give you large full plates of fresh herbs and sprouts as soon as you order. We got the spring rolls and banh xeo which is a crispy fried crepe filled with pork, shrimp and vegetables. It's absolutely amazing and I wish I could eat it everyday. We got 2 types of pho, mine had sliced sirloin which was tender and flavorful and my bf got the seafood pho which had a ton of squid and shrimp. The portions are massive and they don't shy on the noodles at all. I can't finish a bowl in one sitting. We also ordered jasmine iced tea which was floral and fresh and they give you a HUGE refill pitcher of it!The value is incredible. We had all that food for under 60$ and had plenty to take home. They have Togo containers and bags up front so you can help yourself, which I love.. I cannot wait to come back again and try more of the menu!

Very disappointing, mostly because we were so excited to eat here. We never ate. Waited 20 minutes to order. Another 45 for our food. It never came, not even our drinks. When I asked about it, the manager (supposed manager) tried to tell us it was to go and they were making it, though four other tables came ate and left. He then tried to blame us for the mistake of ordering to go (which we did not.) Simply asked for a refund, which another 10 minutes. Left very hungry and bummed.

As a former Pho Thanh regular and a Da Vang fan, I was really hoping their sister location would be just as solid. The food *is* good, but the restaurant doesn't really stand out among the great Viet spots along Dobson. The overall experience has room for improvement.Pho Thuan Thanh serves some excellent dishes. It has some of the better pho in the area, GREAT bo kho with a generous serving size (definitely order this), good vermicelli dishes, and a wide selection of Viet favorites. Food also comes out fast after ordering, which is great!Service is subpar. I don't expect amazing hospitality at traditional Viet spots, but they don't handle rushes well. This time, we were seated but forgotten about until we asked twice to order (tables seated later than us were serviced first). The line to pay, with only 3-4 people ahead, took 15 minutes. The cashier does their best -- it's a process issue since they manually write prices and calculate, and takeout orders slow things down.I'm definitely always down to go if I'm asked since some of the food is pretty good. Seriously -- I haven't had bo kho that good in a while. However, it won't be my first choice, especially on a weekend.

Pho after a trip is always the best. My friends wanted to come here because they have a bigger menu. Arrived a little before 6 Monday evening with 3 others. We were greeted and seated right away. There were some other tables dining but it wasn't super busy. Our waiter gave us a little time to look over the menu while he got waters and then got our orders in right away. We ordered:Pho taiThai iced tea2 Pho xe lua (one with extra tripe)Pho tai bo vien3 orders of Egg rolls1 rice plate to go (I don't remember which)Pho was good. Love that they give tons of noodles and it was cooked just how I like it. Extra soft! The egg rolls were tasty and crispy. The veggies that came with both the egg rolls and pho were fresh. The egg rolls are even more delicious when wrapped in lettuce and mint, then dipped in the nuoc cham mixed with sambal. My thai iced tea was refreshing. I've been coming here for many many years. It's one of the good spots in the East Valley. I usually just go closer to home

This is some of the best pho I've had in the valley. The restaurant itself is a hole in the wall kind of place, definitely pretty run down. Despite this, it is almost always busy. It's pretty hard to get staff's attention, so you need to be ready to order when they come to your table the first time, because it'll be hard to get them to come back. Food is great, prices are good, parking is easy. I love the pho here and plan to be back.

Came by for an early lunch around 11:15am on a Saturday, pretty empty with maybe about 2-3 other parties. Quick, no frills service with a large menu of typical Vietnamese food items. Lots of seating at this time.I did appreciate some less common items such as the Bun Thap Cam I got with vermicelli, shrimp cakes, pork meatballs, egg rolls, and grilled pork. Delicious and super filling. Healthier option too with all the veggies! My only gripe was that the fish sauce wasn't strong enough.Husband got an XL pho. Noodles cooked well, lots of beef, hot soup. Soup leans on sweeter side which I didn't like much but he was fine with it.Also got spring rolls which were standard and fine.Would return to try other items. Prices def cheaper than what we are used to in CA. An XL pho usually goes for $18-$20 in the Bay Area and it's $15 here!Btw they do charge about a 3% service fee if you use credit card.

We've been dining here for years and this place is always solid and never disappoints. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. The food is always on point! This time I had the Combination Rice Plate and it was so delicious! Its presentation was beautiful and I enjoyed all the delicious savory flavors from each meat on the plate. We also had Bun Bo Hue and the Vietnamese Sandwich; all of which were delicious as usual. As I mentioned before, we've been coming here for years, and we intend on coming here, for years to come.

Tried this place for the first time after reading all the good reviews . We ordered bun bo hue and bun rieu. Broth was tasteless and bland meat was dried ! We had to leave the restaurant hungry. Don't understand why this place has four stars . So disappointing!
