I broke my own rules to patronize this place. Normally, I tend to stay away from any Asian restaurants that neighbor an animal hospital. However, I've eaten at the Filibertos next door a couple times and wondered about this place each time. I walked in for a to-go order and was greeted by two different people. I finally decided on beef fried rice and ma po tofu. Both excellent choices. Nothing to complain about there. In fact, some places do a truly vegetarian ma po tofu with no minced pork and I hate when that happens. This place does it right: pork, tofu & spice. Perfect. The beef in the beef fried rice was tender. If it was a cheap cut of meat, I could not tell. The flavor was good on that, too.I'm still a bit leery of Asian restaurants next to veterinary neighbors, but I will definitely return to this place. I snapped a pic of their dining area while I was waiting. Clean place. I'm glad I went here.

Disclaimer: review based upon Postmates delivery. I've been going to this location on and off for 10+ years. This review is from 4/19/24. Generally the ambiance is that of a typical Chinese spot. All food was delivered still pipping hot even though our driver made a few stops before us. AND our styrofoam was NOT melted from the heat. Ordered Cantonese Chow Mein - this was good! It was a bit soggy due to delivery but there were still plenty of crunchy noodles. Veggies were fresh. Flavor was good. My 2 yo LOVED it. Egg roll - there's are NOT egg rolls. They are spring rolls. My husband ate them and said they were good considering. But we would not order them again as they aren't egg rolls. General Tso's Chicken - deep fried. No veggies. I thought it was good but I'm def not an expert in this dish. My husband is the one who generally likes it and wasn't too excited about it. He didn't complain but I'm not sure he'd get it again. House Egg foo Young - this was near perfection IMK. So many veggies. And a wide variety of veggies too. The egg patty was good too. A bit too much batter for my bit the flavor was great. Def would order again. Chicken Wonton Noodle Soup - THERE ARE NO NOODLES ON MY SOUP. Or was a few other reviews that had said the same thing. So, when i was a kid my dad would bring me here and order this in Cantonese. And it always came with noodles. I'm not sure if the noodle part was lost in translation sort to say or if the name of the menu item is misleading. That huge disappointment assist the broth and veggies were good. There were exactly 4 wontons. They were def home made but there was SO LITTLE filling. I was incredibly disappointed. Especially because THIS dish was the whole reason I ordered from them. Mongolian Beef - this was VERY oily. Almost unenjoyable. The meat and onions were cooked well though. Szechwan Pork - not as oily as the Mongolian beef but a bit oily for my preference. They used BBQ pork which was a pleasant surprise. This was ok to me. Spice level was great. I would not order this again but am glad i tired it. Walnut Shrimp - great. Almost like my childhood at Great Wall.... Turned "fast food". Mine did arrive soggy but i know it'd be so fresh if it was eaten in the restaurant. Leftovers are still good.

I miss this place a lot. The owner sold it I heard and they don't do Hong Kong style wonton mein or the dumplings anymore, but they were great. They were not skimpy on shrimp, and the shrimp were decent sized, plump, 爽脆, which the computer is translating as crispy but that ain't it, exactly. Snappy, maybe, captures it better, like the way a Vienna hot dog's skin snaps when you bite it. Anyway, they coulda sold those dumplings and wonton frozen on the local scene for good money, tried to get them to do so but they never did, sadly.

Ordered on Uber Eats - won't come back again. Not sure why they have so many positive reviews - probably shills. 1. They sent the wrong soup (ordered wonton - there were no wontons in it... plus no flavor); 2. Chicken and broccoli was plentiful but flavor was one-note (where is the garlic, ginger, etc.? mostly salt here); 3. Fried rice - total salt bomb - gross / inedible

First off. The wonton soup is wor wonton and only has 2 wontons in a large which is 3 cups. They should have called it vegtable soup. Plus the broth was incredibly bland. Also the pork tasted off. I'm disappointed. As for the chicken egg foo young. It was really good. I was impressed. No sprouts too. Its was fresh and flavorful and not overly salty.

I ordered online. I ordered orange chicken, bf/broccoli and some other sides. Says the plates comes with a side of rice so I'm expecting two rice sides right? Only got one and I called to see if maybe they got the order wrong. The lady who answered told me that it was a large and it only came in one container. Given the amount and there being more than one person in splitting the food with, I give them a 4 on food and 2 for customer service.

I ordered the fried wontons, i literally paid $5 for fried wonton paper because they were fried so hard that there was no filling. Very disappointing, the house special fried rice is always a hit though but I will never get the fried wontons again

Usually my go to is spots have around 3.5 stars - the service is bad but the food is good. This place is NOTHING compared to that. Not only were they welcoming & kind (30 min before close). but our food came out fresh & stayed piping hot for over 40 minutes. Impressed is an understatement - this is my new favorite spot for asian food without a doubt
