Chicken Gorgonzola salad is delish- the dressing is cravable! Save some to dip your crust in! Seasoned crust with sauce is so good- better than garlic bread IMO. I've enjoyed every pizza we've had here but my favs are: -the classic European (you don't miss the area sauce because the sweet tomatoes and creamy ricotta are enough! - the Sajone is so enjoyable- slight bitterness from the radicchio, sweetness from the balsamic, and spice from the pepperoni -the deluxe is a classicTheir specials are always good too! Recently had the fish fry and the fish was flaky and delicious- a huge portion! The service is always great and the vibe is very homey.

We had a pick up order and upon my fiancé's arrival witnessed the individual, Lucius, at the register, go back to prepare my pizza and touch it without wearing gloves. When he brought me the pizza, I asked if it was standard procedure to use gloves, and he confirmed that it was. However, when I questioned why he didn't use gloves, he initially claimed that he had, which was untrue. After I pointed out where I saw him touch my pizza, he apologized.I requested to speak with the manager, Jess. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, she mentioned that the staff member had a different version of the story, implying that I was not being truthful. Although she offered to cover my beer while I waited for another pizza (the first one was made incorrectly as it was to have no cheese- 2 pizzas all together) I ultimately decided to cancel the entire order and went to Spinato's, where we had a much better experience.

I can't begin to state how awful my service was when I went to eat at this establishment. I had no problems with the food I must say to begin with. I never write reviews, but the attitude I received from our server was nothing I've ever experienced from simply wanting to eat a dinner with my partner. The server I was unfortunately given was Cassie. I was first greeted with a smile by Sabrina and hoped it would have foreshadowed the rest of my evening out. As I was seated, I couldn't tell what was wrong with my server. The tone and body language from our server was annoyed, tired, and nothing short of rude. I can understand if someone is having a bad day or moment but it is simply unacceptable to receive this treatment out of nowhere. I wanted to enjoy a nice meal out and go about my life but I had to go out of my way to write this review to feel any sort of resolution for the way I was treated. Again, nothing wrong from the food. I will be getting my Nellos Pizza delivered from now on. Up to whoever reads this if you want to play the Russian roulette of service here at this establishment.Disappointing.

Nello's was a great experience nestled away in a strip mall in Ahwatukee. Surprised I missed this place after so many years in the area. Nello's was more upscale than I expected and had a welcoming staff and bar. The menu is on the simple side but it works and the pizza was very good. Nello's is full service and had a decent size dining room.I recommend the garlic bread bruschetta and pan style pizza. We are not talking a Chicago style pan pizza and it was actually on the lighter side with more crust. The service was very good and while it was upscale there were a few televisions on to catch the end of Sunday football.Best of all, prices were very reasonable! I will definitely be going back to try some of the other pizza and appetizer options.

Found this restaurant in a Tempe food scene listing and it did not disappoint. They run lots of specials during the week. We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. Food was reasonably priced and was delish! Coke products served.

What a nice spot. My friend and I were looking for something along the southern part of the valley as you continue taking the 10 down south, and I found this spot. My friend had a personal pizza with potato and egg and really liked it. I had the Italian beef sandwich and it was delicious. The fries were also very tasty. We shared their pizza crust bread with cheese, which is basically a pizza with garlic butter and cheesy goodness. We also both had some cocktails that were quite nice. Our waitress was honestly great, so attentive and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor (covered) spaces, and they seem to get pretty packed so be prepared. It's worth it!

I was really wanting pizza and Nello's did not disappoint! Everything we order was hot and fresh and flavorful. I love pizza with ricotta and it gave the classic European great flavor with the sausage. The deluxe pizza was great as well. You can't go wrong with the thin or thick crust. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the service was not amazing. We were only checked on when we ordered and when we got our food even though we needed refills before our food came. It was rather slow, but the waitress was very kind. We sat outside where is was shaded and had fans for hot days. This is a great place to take families as well!

The food at Nello's was good. I had an eggplant with noodles and one slice of bread . They should have it be garlic bread but it was vey tasty. The seating was comfortable and the service was excellent. The delivery of the food was pretty quick. The only downside was when more people arrived it was noisy. I would recommend the place for its pizza. My three friends had their pizza and they liked it. They did have an outdoor patio with spray mist. So I say give it a try.
