Mother's

We were on the south side of town and wanted to find a place where we could order a beer and get a bite to eat. We were hesitant when we pulled in Mother's, we just didn't have a good feeling about it. We should have followed our first mind and kept going. The bartender walked up didn't greet us and asked what we were drinking. Hello goes a long way with me so right off the bat I wasn't feeling the place. We came looking for food , we had the menus in hand, she didn't ask if we wanted to buy food. She brings our beer and walks away. My friend asked if we could have napkins.. it seemed like he was disturbing her. I have never drank a beer so fast, we wanted to get out of that place. When my friend got her attention to ask for the check before he could ask, she asked if we wanted to order food, if we come here often, how was our day... a little to late at this point ..we paid .. didn't tip and will never return. It's a cute place and was clean but service was subpar.

Unexpected dive bar in the middle of nowhere, great service, burger didn't disappoint!

This place is non descript from the outside. I had to ask where the door was, once inside I felt like a record scratched to a halt.... I seemed to be the only female in the joint outside of the ladies who worked there. Confident in myself, and need for lunch, I walked to the bar and asked if I could just pick a spot. Once in my booth I enjoyed reading all the fun signs, road markers, and checking out the "saloon" style vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and a soda.I wish my soda had been served in a regular cup, but it was in a styrofoam "to go" cup, I'm guessing a COVID shift. Regardless, it was ice cold and refreshing.My food came up quick, which was good because I was hungry and in a hurry.My burger was packed and fresh off the griddle. The cheese was oozing out the sides, shredded lettuce was piled on nicely and chunky grilled onions added a great flavor. Topped with only Mayo, they brought me catsup and mustard to the table to add myself. The burger was really good. Really messy, but good. Just what I would expect!The real star of this plate was the fries. Now I usually lean towards a thick steak fry, but these were skinnier, shoe string shaped French fries. They were crispy and hot and perfectly perfect!Pro tip: this is a casual crowd so better to not enter looking like you just jumped of the plane from LA ;)

Yummy little dive bar with pretty good burgers! The door is around the side and hard to find and the waitress was pretty crass, but burgers were juicy and fries were piping hot. Not a 5 star kinda place. But def worthy of 4 stars. Surprisingly clean for such an old rickety building.

Dive bar. Friendly staff. They treated me like a regular and most of the people there clearly are. Good bar good at fair prices. Really good portions. Will be back.

I have been going to this place for 3 yrs now. Ice cold beer available and food what more could you ask for! I have had onion rings, the blt, hambugers and chicken sandwhiches from here. The food is really good! I highly recommend this place.

Found this little neighborhood bar and grill via yelp. We had the boneless fried chicken, french dip sandwich and fish/chips. Everything was excellent including the frys and batter fried onion rings. Heather was incredible. She was tending bar, waiting tables and doing the cooking!!!Don't be put off by the look of the outside. Draft Beer was very cold, food was excellent and service was great. We will definitely be back.

Came in with my buddy around 8pm first time and the food didn't disappoint at all, service was great, thank you again heather
