"The name of this place reminds me of the character Nick from the movie Bachelor Party, but the food here bears no resemblance. I was staying at a hotel close-by and this was a quick, convenient lunch option. The lady who took my order was helpful and patient while I decided what I wanted. I was a bit hungry so she thought the platter was the better option. She also didn't make fun of me when I pronounced it Gyro and she said Gyro.The Gyro (or Gyro) platter was pretty big. There was a lot of meat which had some crispy edges and was delicious. There was plenty of rice (I chose that over fries). The lettuce, tomatoes and red onions were all fresh and delicious too. The small salad even had 2 Greek olives.It could have come with more Tzatziki, but they always could use more so I ordered an extra one. It think it was only 0.50 too which is a plus. I should have asked for extra olives too, but didn't know they had any!It was a lot of food and I didn't finish it all, even though I was super hungry when I got there. Soda pop refills were free which was good on a hot afternoon (108 or so). I'd go here again if I wanted a gyro, but there are a lot of other choices around too."

"This place is literally an aesthetic and such a vibe! I was visiting Scottsdale so you know I had to try out another rooftop bar. My friend heard about this place so we made reservations a day or two before and super glad we did! It's inside a hotel located on the fourth floor. We were seated outside and the view was literally so gorgeous! Drinks were good and our waiter was so nice and kind! We tried the hummus, I can't remember which one but I know they were all raved about. I tried the bacon flatbread with melted cheese and it was so good! My friend got a house salad and it was fine. Outside there's a bar you can walk to and hang out with friends if you want alongside with some tables you can reserve. I really recommend trying this place out!"

"While out and about on Saturday afternoon we decided to stop by west gate for some drinks and possible food. Our first stop was a dud and the music so loud our ears needed time to calm. We saw Opa Life and no wait so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated right away. The noise level was great and a few TV's at the bar were playing sports. The menu is small, but had some great options. We weren't too hungry as we'd ate earlier in the day so we decided to share the chicken souvlaki skewer which comes with two sides. We chose the Greek salad and rice. We ordered some beer and water. Beer was cold and water refreshing. Our food came out quick and was plated phenomenally. From the first bite to the last it was all delicious. I'm so surprised at the lack of customers. It's bright and clean inside, service was good and we had no issues. The other patrons inside seemed happy as well. This was our first time here and of course I've not tried other menu items, but I felt portions were huge and enjoyed it. The servers I will say looked bored, one sitting chatting with someone not sure if customers or owner, others just grouped near the front. Hopefully it's not this slow everyday."

"What's not to love? Two brothers and a dad running the show. Super friendly service. Great food. I love Greek food and yes I've been to Greece and loved it there too. There are other items on the menu I'd like to try but for the first time here I went with the classic gyro, which had plenty of great tasting meat. It also came with a very tasty salad. Since it was dark outside and I wasn't driving, I'm not sure what the outside looked like nor where we were, but the inside was warm and inviting. Going to have to look this place up again and come back soon."

The food is so fresh and made to order and you if you love Greek food you definitely need to go here nothing fancy just fantastic food. Their chicken shawarma is probably the best chicken in town as far as Greek food goes. Grilled while you wait the meat is so tender and the grill marks are just fantastic. Oh and they give you a homemade creamy garlic to dip the chicken in or of course you get pita with it and you could put both in the pita. I got the platter which gives you the shawarma chicken yellow rice and a Greek salad very reasonable price too. This little place is such a gem. Staff is always quiet but friendly and the food is just so delicious. If you're looking for good Greek food in the Avondale Goodyear area go here you won't regret it."

Taste perfectly, it really deserves 10 stars . I think half-chicken is enough unless if you are really hungry. I also tried the beef kabobs. I don't think it was very good, taste fine. That day they didn't cook the authentic Iraqi kabob well. I will order it next time i go there.The store is small and the prices of the restaurant is very reasonable and acceptable. They are a little expensive but good stuff and I got a really good amount of food. Pickup was easy for my husband and food was ready fast. I got the hummus and falafel with tahini and two pita. It was all really flavorful. Pita was pillowy soft, hummus was creamy, and falafel was nice and crispy! I do wish they packed the falafel separately from the hummus as it did get a bit cold, but still very good! Would come back!"

The amuse was a cannellini bean soup that was an impressive start. My salmon crudo was fantastic and a bigger portion than I was expecting. The lemon sorbet palate cleaner was just perfect. My sea bass was perfectly prepared and expertly seasoned. Husband was equally pleased with his duck. We ordered the mesquite noodles outside of our tasting menu choices because we were curious and I'm glad we did - it was interesting and yummy. The menu has a nice selection of American, Israeli, Kosher, Chinese favorites.I had the Moroccan lamb soup and blackened tuna with veges(grilled zucchini, rice, carrots)and a Corona beer to wash it down(K18 also has an excellent selection of Italian, Californian and Israeli fine wines).My tuna was delicious glazed with teriyaki sauce and a very large, filling portion. The Moroccan lamb soup was the best I ever had with chickpeas and amazingly tasty broth.Everything tasted great. The Owner personally attended to me and brought my dinner out fast even though they were closing soon; I had plenty of time to relax and eat.There were alot of Orthodox Jewish customers which is a good sign since they know their Kosher.I'm from the east coast and the owner told me he's from Chicago. K18 has that great neighborhood Chicago, NYC Jewish restaurant ambience.I rank it best Jewish Kosher restaurant in Arizona(and they have Kosher Chinese which is hard to find).Congratulations K18."

"I came to Spiga based on a plug by the old gangster Sammy the Bull Gravano. He wasn't wrong. The food was pretty good. Start with the Gamberi appetizer and ask for extra bread for dipping the sauce. The Linguine Nero is a must. The dish is a bit different from most. It had a nice smokey flavor to it that gave it a nice extra kick to the dish. It also was loaded with seafood. The chicken parmigia was good too, although it didn't come with the vodka sauce. The side is pasta was with a vodka sauce, and I think I enjoyed the pasta more. This was nice and made for an overall great dish. Most places give you a side of watery tomato sauce spaghetti. Overall, great food and service."

The menu wasn't super huge but had some great options (my gf is vegetarian so I love that they had the veggie pita) the prices were right on point so we ordered. Man.... The food was SOOOOO good. The wait wasn't bad, and the food came out piping hot. You know it was freshly made. The French fries reminded me of high school, you know the good battered French fries?? The veggies in the pita were grilled but still crisp and delicious. The falafel was the best I ever had, moist inside with a crisp outside. Not dried out like most! And My rice bowl was huge for $14! And came with all the toppings. The garlic side sauce was delicious as well. I had to get extra before we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. I will 100%. Be back!"
