First time here ~ restaurant bar is small but cute.Staff very friendly and food was great. The shrimp was extra large and the coating was light and crunchy.Sandwich was looking and tasting good too.Highly recommend... they do have specials each night.Price is right!

I loved the Lucky Lou's American "Kitchen" off of Val Vista in Mesa, but apparently this is not the exact same restaurant, and it shows. I ordered dinner takeout because this restaurant is literally a 5 minute drive from our house. The wait staff was friendly but the place seemed dark and empty. The food definitely showed why it wasn't crowded. My Mom's tuna sandwich was soggy and the tuna was quite watered down-- no flavor! Her potato salad was also just not good. My Buffalo Chicken Wrap with fries was decent, and so was the cup of Jalapeño Chowder I ordered. The food was rather hit or miss, not too expensive, but I don't think I'd be back.

We decided to try out Lou's fish "oceans eleven" we both liked the fish. Three pieces with a thin batter and good flavor, the fries are crispy and done well. The tartar sauce was flavorful and plenty for the fish. You get a choice of two sides so Steff had a side salad and fries that we shared and I had potato salad and baked beans. The beans were nothing special but that potato salad is well worth it! Large potato chucks a tasty sauce with a dill season. Definitely a homemade salad, very nice. The fish and your choice of two sides and there are many sides to choose from you get plenty to eat. The staff is friendly and happy to serve so tip well, you don't get that in very many places any more. Try the Toasty Amber Ale, if beer is your style. It's a nicely bodied amber with a toasty finish. The green salad was crispy and the Ranch dressing had very nice flavor. Could

Found Lucky Lou's American Grill on Yelp and wanted to give this place a try. And I give it 5 stars and here's why:Wait Time: I came in on a busy Thursday night and I really only had to wait 15 minutes. I am not sure if that can apply to everyday but the speed and efficiency of the staff and the people coming and going was quicker than any other wait time from all the other places I've been to Staff: The staff are really chill and friendly people. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and it really shows as they are checking up on us and making sure it's good. It really gives a great vibe.Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty great. It's got a nice comfortable feel where you can hangout with friends or loved ones. Combine that with a good staff and pretty good food, there's not much else you can ask for.Food: I ordered the cheeseburger medium rare and with onion rings with a side of barbecue wings. The cheeseburger was really good, I felt like the onion rings were much better here compared to the other places I've been too, and I have no complaints toward the wings.Sanitation: Usually what prevents the places I review from attaining 5 stars is that there's always something gross, sticky, or something is off that makes the place feel gross. I'm glad to say I did not find anything dirty coming here and sitting down. So they got a good wait time, good staff, a great atmosphere, delicious food, and it's all clean. I had no issues with my experience coming here and it's places that don't give you problems that deserve 5 stars. Would definitely recommend

Food was average, ordered their wings cause this is one of those few locations that have teriyaki flavor wings. Looked like they only cover the top part with their sauce. Don't remember it being that way at their different location in chandler but was a slight disappointment. Food tasted good though. There bucket order of fries is not very big looked like it was just for one person. Boyfriend ordered the Reuben sandwich and said it was just bread and sugar.

The food and service is always good at Lucky Lous. The restaurant is clean, a little darker inside than a normal restaurant. But still good ambiance. We go at least once a week. The staff are always welcoming. And very attentive. The manager is very nice and easy to converse with. Many beers and drinks to choose from.My go to is the shrimp basket. Or buffalo chicken wrap.My husband gets burger or char grilled chicken sandwich comes with side of fries .Tater Tot basket for starters is always good.

Saw this spot on yelp and the reviews were pretty good so decided to give it a try. It was a very very good idea. They have a little bit of everything to choose from and the menu has range. We had boneless wings that were all white chicken breast and freshly fried. Also tried the bone in mild buffalo and it had a slight kick. Nice traditional wing. Sweet potato fries were nice crispy freshly fried. Manager and waiter were good. Checked frequently and kept drinks filled. Celery was fresh and ranch was really good. Its like your typical bar scene with tvs but way better than a franchise. I will go back when im in town again.

My daughters and I went for dinner the other night and the place was packed....we had to wait approximately 30 minutes to be seated.I'll just get to the point of the food we ordered. Fried Zucchini...fried pickle spears ...grilled wings and chicken skewers. Zucchini and pickles were freshly made and served hot...the grilled wings and chicken skewers were luke warm because they were probably made ahead and just had to be reheated. Both chicken appetizers were dry too.I ordered a medium rare bacon blue cheese burger and it was luke warm well done and dry.The onion rings were cold. My three daughters entrees were alright but no wow factor. When restaurants are short staffed and food that has been cooked ready to serve isn't you get luke warm dry food.Staff was friendly....but I didn't feel lucky thinking I was in for a treat........
