"Speakeasy w a few pinballs to play.Food was okay- we tried the dry rub wings & the ziggy wings, the ziggy sauce was too tangy for me.$1 pinball games - there were maybe 10 machines. Drinks were okay."
"Didn't have any food, but we had some great drinks and the service was great. Went there for my first drag show and it was a total blast. We all had a great time and the show was so awesome. Highly recommended. Try something different and give it a try. I do t think this is most weekends, so check thier website."

I've only had a couple of appetizers here, and I can't say that they were fabulous, as I ordered some pretty plain Jane stuff. The Housemade chips and onion dip, as well as the Vegetable crudite were ok. I wished the dips for both those appetizers had more flavor and kick to them, but, knowing that I ordered some pretty unflavorful dishes, I'll quit my whining. On the other hand, the cocktail was divine! The Lost Dutchman was so tasty & refreshing!! Don't be shy! U can totally eat the flowers that are elegantly decorated in ur cocktail!! Service was great! Our server came by to check on us just the right amount of times!! Price is on the high side, but u're paying for the stunning views as well as u're in paradise valley!!! Go ahead and splurge!!!"
"Superb indoor and outdoor seating options with a refreshing open atmosphere. The staff is exceptional, providing attentive service. Indulge in a delightful espresso martini while exploring the irresistible array of appetizers. I highly recommend trying the spinach and artichoke dip along with the delicious lobster mac and cheese."
"Our graduate wanted 'good vibes' so here we are lol. This is the place to be on a Saturday in Old Town. We celebrated with yummy drinks (big vote for the Frose!) and I had a Cobb salad and everyone else all ordered the fish tacos. Service was excellent! The music is LOUD. Very loud. But it's a party atmosphere so there you go. The place was packed. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait for your two hour slot. Good time had by all"
"I love the large patio! Nice ambiance. Inside, the bar and dining areas are huge. The food is delicious and prepared to order. The staff that I encountered were very pleasant. There is street and garage parking nearby. Accessible entrance."
"I like this place. I've been a couple times now. It's relatively big. 3 rooms. 2 bars. A game area with pool and shuffle board. An area with some booths. I like the main dance area. The dj has always been fun to dance to."
"I really like this place for a drink and a burger. Prices are very affordable and the patrons always seem pretty chill. It's an older crowd and they have pool tables, foosball, live music some nights. What I like most about this place is the burger they make. It is just so flavorful, they butter and toast the buns and give you the standard toppings. This burger is far better then ones I've had at fancy restaurants."
"Absolutely beautiful placeeeeee! It's dark with just enough lighting to create the MOST cozy ambiance. I LOVE IT. I'm kind of obsessed with it actually haha! It truly creates such a fun vibe. I appreciate greatly that it's not a huge venue, packed with tons of people. Every time I have gone, the service is superb, the drinks are AMAZING and the food is delicious! Some of my recommendations/favorites of mine are the Hurricane Fires, Disco Fries, Spicy Chicken Bao Buns and the Claypot Wings (TRY THE WINGS). Enjoy my fellow foodies and KEEP fooding."
"Such a great spot for cocktails, small bites and live music. 10/10 I would definitely come back here again."
"Ambiance is top tier, Great playlist , quick seating, friendly and knowledgeable staff.Clean, ample parking , great selection of rolls and sides."
"Bartender was super friendly and my yummy drink was perfect and as requested. A super laid back beautiful Southwest environment was the lovely backdrop and the cozy fireplace was the cherry on top. Always our go to when in Arizona."

We visited during normal business hours so weren't able to experience the DJ vibe, but was totally awesome ! We sat at the bar and were able to get pizza brought to the bar. Drinks were strong for the price. Pinball was fun

Kobalt is one of the most fun bars I have visited in Phoenix. Every Thursday there is a show called Cirque du so Trey. It's more than a drag show, they have all kinds of performers (singers, burlesque, etc.) They have many other shows and events but that's the one I frequent the most. Bartenders are friendly and make strong drinks worth your money

I came here on a Friday evening around 10 PM with my partner. We wanted a cocktail as we knew the Civic Center just opened and new businesses were to be explored. With this, we found The Back Door Lounge. The Lounge was very clean, quiet, and lit up. Right away we were offered menus which had light food, desserts, wine, and beer. My partner and I ordered cocktails (Old-Fashioned and a Manhattan), and they were excellent! 5/5 stars - New business and they deserve a chance as they make an excellent drink in a comfortable and clean lounge environment!!

I visited The Montauk when I was visiting Scottsdale for my bestie's bachelorette trip. There were 10 of us at brunch and it was easy to make a reservation online. Since we had a larger party, I emailed with the events coordinator and she was super responsive! She let me know that there would be a minimum of $500 and that there would be a set menu. I was excited for the set menu because it made it easier for everyone! It even included a welcome drink which was nice! The restaurant is buzzing with lots of energy during brunch. There's a live DJ and it's super lively. A lot of us ordered the lobster roll which was just okay imo. It was too saucy for my taste and there wasn't that much lobster. But we did enjoy the sides that came with the meal, including potatoes, fresh fruit, bacon, and chips with truffle parmesan dip! We also ordered a kale salad on the side and we were big fans of that.Coming from San Francisco, a huge food city, I think we expected a little better food, but the environment and decor was still really fun and cute and we had a good time! We also loved the espresso martini/frosé tree!

We were watching the Paper Kites last weekend and wanted to avoid the bustle of First Friday on Roosevelt, so the beautiful scenery of this restaurant is what caught my eye. It's at the bottom of the Sheraton hotel and across from Herberger Theater area so it's actually a quite convenient location to be!Then Piestewa cocktail that I ordered had proceeds that helped kids or similar so of course I ordered it! It was flowery and not too sweet. I loved my pan seared mountain trout on top of a bed of cilantro citrus rice. It was really good! I recommend ordering it especially if you wanted something on the lighter fare but still flavorful and still filling without being dense. My hubby had the burger and enjoyed it too. He wasn't that hungry though and shared it with one of our other friends. It's really beautiful in this restaurant. We sat under a giant lighted tree. The bar had glass blown lighting that looked like hanging apples and other fruits. Really aesthetic and inviting even if just grabbing a cocktail and not eating.

This is a good neighborhood bar. Food is good.Last visit Bernadette took good care of care of us
Visit Restaurant Page"Let me start off by saying this is a dive bar. If that's not your scene then don't come here. Personally I like it a lot. It's typically pretty mellow no matter what night you go. Some nights there's no people but even when it's busy without a seat available, somehow it stays chill. The prices are very fair and the drinks are nice and strong. My friends and I LOVE coming here."
"Tony's is the bar the northwest valley needs right now, and the bar it deserves. $2 Sierra Nevada IPA? $3 Stella? Is this real life? Lots of pool tables, darts, some arcade games, and ample seating. Also the youngest crowd I've seen in any watering hole lining 59th avenue. And like yours truly, they're into the day drinking! My only regret is not discovering this place sooner."
"My group and I came here after Harumi and we were seated right away. At the time, there was only a table of two in there. The entrance and interior is really pretty. I've been here once before about 2 years ago and remembered liking the drinks last time. They have some small bites on their menu but if you're super hungry and looking for something more filling, maybe eat somewhere else first. Our orders: Terminus $20 - a creamy, tropical flavored drink. The banana flavor was a bit strong but still good overall! I tend to choose the drink with coconut milk. Harvest Essence $17 - a smoky mezcal drink. My friend said it was goodTake a Stroll x2 $15 - light and refreshing. They loved itTequila Blanco w/ Sprite $14 - one friend switched to her usual for her 2nd round drinkNice vibe and ambiance. Bartender was nice and attentive. Great place for a date night or girls night out!"
"I visited Lush for brunch, but I can already see the potential for an amazing atmosphere at night time. The food was great. I had both the shrimp and grits, which came with turkey sausage (that's a plus for me) and the French toast. Both were very flavorful! They have a music theme with drinks aligning with that theme. I had a purple drink, although I can't remember the name. It was great.Service was quick. The server was very attentive and the owner even came out to explain the restaurant and the theme.I can't wait to go back and try more menu items."
"Love evo! They have happy hour as well. The original location is in old town Scottsdale and they made one in Tempe (diff name) & this is their newest location. Love the vibes and aesthetics. We started with the arancini so good also with a mixed salad and a ceaser. You can definitely share the salads. Also we got the whipped feta, so good! For meals we got the filet mignon, Alfredo, chicken piccata, bolognese, chicken parmigiana and branzino. Every dish was delicious. Also they give you a complementary cake for your birthday."
"Little hole in the wall lounge with great service and prices. The bar and the bathrooms were extremely clean and I can totally appreciate the "nice vibes only" policy. They even offer a cute little menu with really affordable snacks and apps. Will definitely be dropping off my husband here at my next visit to HomeGoods."
"This is one of my favorite cocktail spots in all of Phoenix. Every time they've shaken up their menu, I've been worried I wouldn't like it as much, but I've never been disappointed. I tend towards funky, fruity, tiki drinks while my husband gravitates more to boozy, nutty, classic-inspired cocktails, and we both always find multiple things to enjoy. I recommend sitting at the bar so you can see the drinks being made and get thoughtful descriptions and recommendations from the bartenders. Still, their lounge area is cool. The overall look of the place is dark, sleek, and sexy-- great for a date. Prices are on par for a cocktail this good in downtown/midtown. They don't really serve full meals, but they have a small plates menu. All in all, Highball is worth going outside the beaten path of RoRo/the rest of downtown."
"Walking in, Alibi has a nice atmosphere. I love the roof top vibe. Came here for a work event and boy was it a mess. It seemed like they were not prepared to accommodate our group. The menu is very limited so it was concerning how long some items took to come out. We were in no means any rush but chips and a salsa should not take over an hour to get to the table. The food was a hit or miss. I really enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower. A fellow co-worker enjoyed the edamame but said they were messy and spicy. I personally had the seared ahi with some Asian noodles. I could not eat the pasta. It just didn't go well with the tuna for me. The noodles did not give Asian vibe. It was also cut on the thinner side. I really wish the sesame seeds I saw on the edamame was encrusted on the tuna."
"I come in here every time I am in Phoenix. Joyce makes good drinks. The food selection is limited, but the mozzarella sticks are on point. They don't bitch if you order take out and eat it in the bar. I like this place a lot."
"A fab spot to grab light bites and cocktails downtown before or after a game, show, symphony, etc. It is set in an old department store and I highly suggest walking around and exploring the building. You will see some interesting things! I love their dirty martinis and lemon drops. We may actually drop back in this weekend after attending a concert. See you soon, Hanny's!"
"This is an intimate bar nestled inside the lovely Arizona Biltmore Hotel. I came here with a group of friends to enjoy a drink for my girlfriend's birthday. We were told that this is the bar where Angela Bassett and Wesley Snipes shared an intimate bar conversation and Lord knows what else.Three drinks cost us $47 Before tip."
"My husband and I stopped in here on a Friday night after going to a comedy show. The ambiance and feel of this place is top tier. It feels very exclusive once you are inside. The menu for their drinks is like something you've never seen before! The server was very nice and recommended this watermelon flavored cocktail to me to try and it was very delicious and refreshing. I would certainly recommend that you stop in here for a couple drinks on a date night with your person!! We will be back."
"Oh dear. We bought a house and it's walking distance from The Other Bar. This is great because it'll save me an Uber fare when I want to meet up with friends for a few drinks. This is not great because, well, $5 cocktails during happy hour. My poor liver. The Other Bar is absolutely adorable. From the large comfortable green chairs to the cute art on the wall, you'd feel perfectly comfortable flouncing in wearing a sundress and having a drink (preferably coffee in the AM and a cocktail in the PM). Atmosphere during happy hour seems to be lively 30ish professionals. These are not $5 well drinks either - these are $5 well-crafted themed cocktails, with flavor and flare. I've tried several and wasn't disappointed in any of them. There's food available as well, and in the mornings they open the wall between The Other Bar and Luci's, so you can have your Acai bowl in the AM and then return to the chair in the PM for your martini.Love this place."
"We arrived promptly at 7:20 for our 7:30 reservation. We were seated right away. Our drink order was taken within minutes. We had a table with a great view. Ambiance was business casual. The restaurant is on the top floor of The Canopy Hilton hotel. Once we had our wine & mimosa we ordered a few plates to share (spicy garlic shrimp & meat plate) The spicy garlic shrimp came with some bread to dip in sauce. It was good but not great. The meat plate had 2 kinds of cheese, 3 meats, crackers, bread, fog jam, olives & pickled cauliflower. I liked it better. Our waiter (Tony) was very attentive & checked on us often. The sunset view was the best part! We will definitely be back with a group for the views, the food needs work. Just a side note everything is served in plastic. Even their wine (not a fan)has"
"Another great meal with the best service in town! This place is a gem and very unique setting of restaurant in the Hilton resort. The view is amazing, very romantic dining experience for your special occasion. I would love to come back for the sunset dinner one day. Thank you for the great meals and amazing hospitality.Merci beaucoup."
"W = Wow!What a scene it was on Saturday night... I felt like I was in Vegas, New York, or LA at the hottest new club! It may have taken a while to open, but the latest Starwood Resort in AZ is definitely a place to see and be seen. Luckily, I was with some VIP girls upon valeting the car and we were able to enter right away instead of wait in line. Once inside, we made our way to the lobby bar and ordered up a round of cocktails. Most of us had martinis; a few had wine. My Raspberry Lemonade Martini was pretty tasty and went down easy. I can't say the same for the Candy Cane Martini that a few of the other girls had - they had to exchange it for something else as they said it tasted like cough syrup! All of the drinks were pricey - I think mine was the cheapest at $11 for one. We sat in the lounge area and people-watched for a while, and then Halley and I made our way into the W Store as we continued to sip our martinis. They had really cute stuff and I'm sure had I brought more money in, I would've spent it there! Onwards and upwards we went after that - upstairs! Little did I know that upstairs was where the most beautiful pool and huge patio was! (See pic) Great white lounge chairs, big comfy towels, several more bars, and tons of beautiful (and not so beautiful) people awaited us. It was a great place to hang out on a late summer night! If you do plan on heading over to the W to hang anytime soon, stop by the $$ machine before you go. Drinks are expensive and valet costs $8 or $10 depending on who you are before tip. (I was charged $8 while my brother was charged $10 - we figured that out today; not sure why Valet would not be one price so if you know, please let me know!)So as you can tell, this review is just for the experience of hanging out at the W; not actually staying there. With room rates starting from the high $300s, I doubt I will be staying anytime soon, but if you have the opportunity to do so, I would recommend it. Great location, hip place, lots of eye candy, and Sushi Roku (which I cannot wait to try sometime) awaits!"
"A dive bar with a lot of regulars, karaoke and a good ol' Cheers vibe is what you get here. Our bartender poured great drinks and we had a good time chatting with the locals. Our tab was surprisingly much lower than expected. Score! I'm sure the bff and I will waltz on over when in need of a chill, entertaining night. She sings, I watch."
"I've lost count of how many times I've witnessed the mesmerizing performance of The Ocean Blue, but this is undoubtedly their second mind-blowing show at this venue. Trust me, the vibes here are off the charts! The acoustics? Absolutely killer! Though I must admit, the staff can be a tad curt, and the drinks might leave you thirsting for more flavor. But hey, let's focus on the bright side--they constantly bring in phenomenal bands that rock this joint to its core!"
"This was one of the craziest night clubs I've ever been to! I was on Scottsdale for a bachelorette party and I was so happy we ended up here. Someone lured us into the club with free bottle service and they delivered. Great music, lighting and ambiance! The drinks were great and this was a really fun place to get our scavenger hunt done. I would highly recommend for a night out :)"
"If you've ever walked by the W on a Friday or Saturday afternoon or evening you've no doubt heard the pulsing club music and thought, "Where's THAT coming from?" Meet Cottontail on the second floor of the W.Cottontail is where you would have access to the various bars and pool area. Frankly, the views aren't amazing but the W knows how to create ambiance. It's fun and carefree. When it's busy, there is no better place for people watching. You find a mix of tourists and locals doing staycations here. When Cottontail puts on special events, they're masterfully executed. This is a classier (albeit more pricey) option that the nightclubs around the corner. You get what you pay for!Other Yelpers have written that you need to have reservations to get in. I'm not sure and it would be worth checking during busier periods when they'll want to cater to in-house guests. Besides being a bar, Cottontail is also a restaurant and they serve brunch.Being the W, drinks are expertly mixed. From glasses of prosecco to negroni's, you are going to have quality. Honestly, it's fairly priced for the environment.I have visited many W's around the world (the rooftop in Shanghai inspires awe!). Sometimes the staff can be a bit uppity. I was worried that a similar vibe might be present here. Nope! Just the opposite. The staff is friendly and pleasant. Some have even remembered me from past visits! This was a really pleasant surprise.Only one issue cropped up from a recent visit and I can't even say that it is the hotel's fault but beware. We started a tab and cashed out at the end of the night. The next morning there was a hold on our credit card for triple the amount. I went back to speak to the manager who shrugged and said it was normal and that the hold would come off four days later...which it did. Not sure if this was caused by the bank or the hotel but it wasn't the most happy of surprises. Pro tip: don't open a tab and close out each round! All in all, Cottontail is worth visiting at least once. The energy on the deck is great and something you won't forget!"
"Visited with friends on Friday night for Dirty Disney and we were all super excited for the night. We took a Lyft, and I am so glad we did because all the parking spots were taken. We made it towards the door, my friend went in first and I was right behind him. I quickly heard a ladies rudely voice say "ID's" without saying anything else. She then saw me trying to get my ID out of my wallet and she again repeats herself in a nasty tone.. like girl I heard you the first time.. chill. We made it past the rude lady, and we were in! The inside is super cute. It has retro vibes, cute photo ops, and the lighting is on point. We decided to come back inside for drinks as we had to go and find a spot for the show. The show started a little late and we stood at a table top towards the bathrooms. The view wasn't great but all the spots at the front were taken. There were no seats so we stood for the 1.5 hours we were there.Went back inside for some drinks and the girl bartending clearly did not want to be there. She was rude, scary, and non approachable. The bar wasn't even busy so not sure what she was so angry about. The first round of drinks we ordered included an Espresso Martini and it was very well made. We got some food from the food truck that was out back and it was also pretty good. In total we bought 4 drinks which were all good. Our favorite one though was the Espresso Martini. The show was entertaining and funny but we left early. The patio area is pretty spacious but the inside lounge area is small. Customer service is clearly not a priority as both workers we interacted with were rude."
"Went to this location with a bunch of friends for book club. Some people ordered food and some ordered desserts. I ordered a flan and it was harder than expected, but it tasted good. The service was very good. Waiters kept checking on us and brought a heater since it was a chilly night. I saw many people on dates while we were there. I would likely go again with the hubby during sunset when it's not cold."
"Stopped in for happy hour yesterday and had some light bites and drinks. Michaela was our server and was great. She checked in often and made sure we had a great experience. We had the bruschetta and our favorite was the one with dates. We also shared the donuts for dessert and they were great. Drink specials for happy hour were nice. Several options. The espresso martini was great and the Ichiro julep was strong but tasty. Great new addition to the area. Excited to come back for a game sometime."
