Lix Uptown Ice Cream

This shop is my favorite. Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had, & I've been all over the world (15 yrs in Germany & Italy). The staff is absolutely AMAZING & polite. Love this Place

8.3.24: Perfect way to spend a 113 degree Saturday! Going to see the movie, Fly Me to the Moon, followed by ice cream treat! We went to Lix at The Royale but it was closed, so that location is no longer in operation.We hit the original location at 7th Ave & Osborn. So many "new" flavors...or new to me! Every day there's 12 to choose from - I can't remember all of Saturdays but here's a few: :) Biscoff Biotch:) Carrot Ginger :) Dank Dark Chocolate :) Ferocious Chocolate (Nutella & Ferrar Roche Chocolates) :) Lieu Lieu Lemon (had a whole Lemon PIE in there):) Mango Sticky Rice :) Strawberry Ginger Lemonade :) Strawberry Quick:) Turkish Coffee:) White Peach SorbetI chose the refreshing Lieu Lieu Lemon - soooooooo good. And friend got a combo cup. Thanks, Rich, for all the crazy creative concoctions y'all create!!!

Delicious ice cream (I'm typically a fan of vanilla - apparently I'm basic - so loved the sweet cream), a cool funky vibe (it feels like eating in someone's eclectic living room or a very odd escape room), and super friendly employees! There's not a whole lot of space in the back or I'd suggest they start serving cocktails with the ice cream - they'd get flooded with customers. There weren't too many customers when we were there on a random weekday evening, though, so we were able to post up on a huge sofa with four adults and a baby in a stroller.Can't wait to come back and try some more flavors!

We decided to give this place a try on a whim! Allegedly they've been here 2 years and I'm shocked I never heard of them. It is just a fun, eccentric vibe inside and has a cute lounge that looks like the setting of a music video. Payton, the girl who helped us, was so sweet and helpful. The ice cream was great! They change their flavors everyday so that's a plus! I believe she also said they were all dairy free, which is even better. I have the sweet cream and mango sticky rice and my boyfriend had the coconut cream and biscoff. 2 scoops is MASSIVE, but for 8$ I would think so. The sweet cream and cone tasted like a frosted flake, which I appreciated. The mango sticky rice definitely had the right consistency if you know what I mean. Both flavors were delicious. This place is expensive for ice cream. We paid 20$ for 2 scoops and one cone, which is a hefty price tag. I definitely think they are worth checking out and would come back! Such a cool place.

Amazing! It's so fun and cool inside with their decor. Their ice cream is homemade and delicious. The staff are unbelievably friendly. Such an awesome place. Would highly recommend for any ice cream lover looking for a unique flavor and vibe experience.

What a fun place! I was craving a little sweet and saw this was nearby and had great reviews. The young lady working was very helpful and told us all about the different flavors and provided samples. The ice creams are made there and are essentially lactose free. They also have some vegan options.I expected to get the mango that had coconut milk, but after sampling ended up doing half of a lemon one that had like lemon pie in it, and half a Strawberry Quik flavor. In the back is a really cute and eclectic area to hang out, play games, and enjoy your ice cream. This was really fun and relaxing! There were quite a few games and the TV was playing some channel that had entertaining video clips - brilliant! This area doesn't have windows so it's a little dark and felt like a great place to escape the heat.

The Dank chocolate ice cream was the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. I could normally eat a pint of ice cream in one sitting. This ice cream was so rich, I could barely finish two scoops. The service was great and they have a very unique lounge. I will definitely be back.

Exceptional to say the least! This ice cream spot nailed it last night -- we came in around 8 pm after dinner. It is a super cute ice cream shop with eclectic decor. All of their ice creams are LACTOSE FREE and made in-house. Flavors rotate daily generally. I had the snickerdoodle, my daughter got chocolate, boyfriend got coconut cream pie and my sister got sweet cream. All of the ice creams were excellent -- super creamy and delicious. And the best part is since they have no lactose, I can enjoy it even more!The owner was present and very kind, as were all of the employees. There is a cute little sitting area if you walk into the back and the bathroom is a super fun disco room! You'll see what I mean when you visit. I am only sad that we didn't discover this place sooner.

Had a lovely Saturday visit here on a hot PHX afternoon. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable. He gave us all the samples and each ice cream is dairy free. He was blasting the Cowboy Carter tunes while we enjoyed funky and fun seating in the back room. They have a big screen and a giant Jenga along with a number of board games. What a fun spot!

Vibes are great! the icecream is too! the employees were amazing and so kind. Everyone was very welcoming! Even got to meet the owner! I love this place
