So we went to our favorite brewery Wrenhouse to check this place out since we love German food. We were a little nervous when we got there and saw it pretty much looked like a hotdog cart. We got a Reuben sandwich, the pretzels and cheese and the Das Brat. The biggest winner was the Reuben. I cannot say enough about this sandwich, the corned beef was AMAZING (my husband was chatting with the owner, and apparently he MAKES it!!) the bread was perfect, the cheese was mixed in with the meat... the kraut....man...it is literally the best Reuben or any other sandwich I have eaten in my 50 years of life. The brat was also good, was a little heavy on the aoli and onion for me, but the kraut, mustard and sausage were excellent. The beer cheese was awesome, and I am sure the pretzels were amazing when they came out of the oven, but didn't travel or age well. They served as a passable vehicle for the amazing beer cheese. Don't let the humble appearance fool you, this man is doing the Lord's work.
