Service was terrific. Every staff was very nice and the ambience, interior, and food everything was top notch. Very dog friendly as well. They gave my boy some water which was very appreciative. He was very happy since it was scorching hot outside. I was craving a milkshake and was only going to order a milkshake but the food menu looked so nice too and ended up getting a sandwich. The New Yorker was a filling sandwich with coldslaw. The potato salad was really chunky and creamy. I would say it's more on the lighter side and makes it nice to eat in when it's hot. Now the milkshake. That was just pure bliss. Giant milkshake with lots of cream and toppings. I got the Girl Scout one and the chocolate mints made the perfect accent. Nice and soothing making it taste less dense and easier to drink. Especially since it's so big. The cookie on top was so big, soft and chewy. One of the best I've eaten in a while. I am excited to try the other flavors next time I go.

In the dim light of culinary mediocrity, one might hope for a beacon, a dish that transcends the ordinary, that stirs the soul and reminds us why we dine out at all. Alas, such an experience was scarce at the establishment in question, where disappointment was served in abundance.Let us begin with the few redeeming morsels that managed to escape the kitchen's indifference. The onion rings--crispy, golden halos of perfectly fried simplicity--stood as the sole champions of flavor, a rare triumph amidst a battlefield of blandness. Paired with a milkshake that was pleasantly creamy and indulgent, one could momentarily forget the horrors that would soon follow. And then, the chicken pot pie--comfort food at its finest, with a crust that flaked delicately at the touch and a filling that, while not transcendent, at least adhered to the basic principles of warmth and taste. But these meager victories were overshadowed by the unrelenting mediocrity that defined the rest of the meal. The burger, an iconic staple of American cuisine, arrived devoid of any discernible seasoning, a sad and flavorless patty that dared you to find joy in its insipidness. The mac and cheese, overbaked to the point of resembling a culinary relic, was dry and devoid of the creamy richness one expects from such a dish. The salads, a supposed refuge of freshness and zest, were limp and listless, lacking any hint of flavor or inspiration.Yet, the true villain of the evening was not the food but the service. The staff, it seemed, had forgotten the first rule of hospitality: to serve the guest, not to frustrate them. Our order was botched, a comedy of errors that would be amusing were it not so infuriating. My son, a simple child with simple tastes, waited an eternity for his grilled cheese, only to be presented with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich--a mistake so baffling it defies logic. In conclusion, this dining experience was a tragedy in three acts: flavorless food, lackluster service, and a bill that left us wondering why we had ventured out at all. The onion rings, milkshake, and chicken pot pie may have been worth a bite, but they are hardly enough to save this establishment from the depths of obscurity.

Imagine having your childhood dreams fulfilled and you realize you weren't man enough to handle them. That's how I felt getting the mint biggie shake at Jojo's Shakebar. I got the biggest most beautiful shake I've ever seen, served by the nicest servers, in the coolest diner I've ever sat in. HOWEVER! After working on it for 5 minutes the milkshake toppings overwhelmed me and I didn't hardly get to try the shake. There was a 12 inch cookie, a s'more, chocolate covered pretzel, and some other stuff that wasn't a shake. All of it was delicious and I couldn't stop myself. You will be parent/older sibling of the year if you bring a kid here. And if you're an adult, they have alcoholic shakes and pretty cool looking cocktails Definitely worth the experience.

We took our grandson to JoJo's for a treat. Little did we know that they have a lot of adult themed shakes and treats as well. We liked our shakes, and our grandson enjoyed playing the free video games. Service was very polite and conversational, which we appreciated. They experienced some sort of issue with their equipment while we were there and it took a very long time to produce our shakes. That said, grandson spent the extra time on the arcade games, so it worked out well.

JoJo's had been on my radar for a minute or two. Although after working so hard to lose alot of weight over the past year and a half I take a moment and truly think about my splurges! We had our grandson in town for the summer and after a day of golf we decided he deserved a treat.. enter JoJo's ShakeBar! Parking is never fun here in Scottsdale Quarter, but the garage is close to the entrance of the stairwell that is close to JoJo's so there is that! We also loved that there is a takeout window right outside. We weren't eating outside on this scorcher of a day in July! The staff here is super nice! The decor is cute. The music is blaring! First note.. it has a very 'bar' feel to it and I wasn't expecting that. We were sat despite that we didn't think on an afternoon on Sunday that we may need a reservation. Oops! We were advised that they may need the booth back in an hour and we thought we could accommodate that. Take a page from my book: make a reservation if you want a booth. Our waitress again.. super sweet. We were a bit indecisive but our little grandson went for the largest most colorful shake on the menu.. and it was Pride Shake. I got a basic 'smaller' Basic chocolate shake, (as I had a feeling that I would be helping in the finishing of said small child ordering a shake larger than his head with cake on it!) and she asked if I wanted to 'booze it'? I love that, but no, not with a child with me! My husband ordered a larger than life shake too and I don't remember what it was. There was an issue with the ice cream machine and we waited for a very long time... I am talking almost an hour. To the point that we watched other customers leave. We thought about leaving too, and our waitress apologized profusely. Our grandson was having fun playing the retro video machines, but I had no idea it would take so long for a couple of shakes. The 'Biggie' Shakes range are about $14 in cost.. some have booze and some don't, which is extra $. A 'Basic' Shake, like what I had is $10.. a bit steep for what it is.. Do not get me wrong, I love a great shake and ice cream is my favorite dessert! I do not think my shake was worth $10. I do love the concept that this is a diner feel with great shakes that you can bump to booze versus not. There are cookies and diner bites and a midwest diner feel. I do not like the pricing for being a midwest place. I did not like the wait that we had after being told we would have to vacate the booth in an hour. So after all this time of waiting for this treat.. this treat underwhelmed me. But as long as my grandson liked it.. He liked the colorful shake he got and loved the cake, but just as I figured he did not like the fruity ice cream and didn't finish the shake... haha.. I did!!! ;-)

Get the POT PIE!!!! The Mac and cheese is soo good too! We didn't even make it to the shakes because our main meal was soooo tasty. Portions are great for sharing too. Unless it's the pot pie, then don't share because you will want that all to yourself!!

First time EVER trying JoJo's & I absolutely love this place! The location in Scottsdale quarter really feels like a lil Chicago right here. Service was great, I was lucky enough to have Jay as my guide who recommended his favorites & took great care of me... he even brought some ginger ale after my Malort shot (Life Saver) the food is actually really good. The burger held me over - next time I'm totally trying the brunch menu; which runs until 2pm.All & all... I'm bringing ALL my friends here, making them do the challenge & hopefully experience camp Jojo too. Thank you guys for the fun experience.

I love the concept of this place and the design. They had ole school pac man games. The staff was really nice. They also had the spin the wheel on the wall that they did and whatever drink it landed on you could try it (at a cost of course). I had a Bloody Mary with a mini Chicago dog - the Chicago Dog was on point but the Bloody Mary was just ok. Not bad, but nothing special about it. My bestie had an old fashion and it was really watered down.... Definitely missed the mark. All in all ..... cool spot, awesome decor and vibe. Drinks could use a boost (IMO).
