Joe and Joan have did a Fantastic job with the Happy-Go-Lucky staff. We have been Coming here for years on Sunday Morning and will continue to support this Wonderful Diner. My favorites are the Fresh Coffee and the Pancakes. MMMMMM! . Love you both! Mendez, Venessa

I saw Joe's promoted on Channel 3 news the week of July 4th. We tried it on Sunday. Cool looking inside-we sat next to a non-functioning juke box. How cool would "that" have been, IF it worked?!Nice waitress, did the minimal waitress duties. I asked if the juke box WORKED, and she said, "no." I see where Mr. Joe said it DID. Maybe he'd better inform his employees?! ANY business owner who responds to a review of mine like Mr, Joe immediately did, needs to take a deep look into their psyche & question WHY they over-reacted so viciously, so fast! All it was, was "my opinion" of his restaurant--isn't that WHY they "have" reviews?! Grow UP Mr. Joe, take a deep breath, and swallow. It's ONLY a truthful review, about the experience my husband and I had!!!--NOT the whole city of Phoenix!"My" opinion...I thought the food was CRAZY expensive! EVERYTHING! It was maybe 50% full on a Sunday morning. That time of day places are usually packed!I got an eggplant omelet, tasty BUT...looked for eggplant pieces, never found them.I "ALWAYS" butter my biscuits/pancakes as soon as they arrive, so the butter is melted.I saved my biscuit until last so the butter would melt-it never did. I had to ask to have it microwaved. That must mean it wasn't REAL butter. The butter on the pancake I could deal with-I just poured IMITATION syrup over it. (They HAVE pure maple syrup but they charge you extra!)There's soooo many GREAT places to eat, WHY pay high prices for under-par food?!SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

Not a bad breakfast. Been hearing about this place for years and finally decided to eat here. Very much a diner from the look and atmosphere, which is not a bad thing. You seat yourself. We got here early so it wasn't too busy. Huge menu with a ton of great options. Ordered the two eggs, bacon and biscuit. Food came out super fast and was very good. A bit pricey for what I got but everything is expensive these days. Will come back again, just not sure it is my new go to for breakfast... maybe the next time will change that.

Food and service was outstanding! The service was excellent. I will definitely come back there again. The atmosphere was very inviting as well as cleanliness.The service was very professional.

Of course the food is quality, service smiling, ambiance Diner.Joan ordered 50% smaller water glasses. Thousands less gallons of water wasted.Our city leaders might secure a future. Iur kegislators think water management a joke. Rurak cities imagine weird underground geology that will stop rivers from drying. Joan bought smsller glasses. She's the Real Deal

Omg, these are really the best pancakes in the world. I got the corned beef hash and substituted a pancake for the biscuit and gravy. I regret not getting a stack of pancakes to go. Our waitress was amazing, super friendly and was always there to top off your coffee. Don't even get me started on the syrup at the table, it was amazing also, light and so full of flavor. Honestly forgot to take a picture when the food came out. This is now my favorite spot.

Let me start with the service...it was fantastic! Everyone was so nice and friendly, it was a great start to my Sunday! The ambience is so cute and there's plenty of parking. I went in to get my order to go, I got biscuits and gravy and croissant breakfast sandwich. It literally took 2 minutes to come out. I got home and plated my mom's biscuits and gravy which was amazing! By far the best I've ever had. Fluffy biscuit, and they gave me plenty of gravy which had the perfect texture. The potato's were surprisingly good too.(not a big breakfast potato fan) but this is why I gave them 4 stars. Clearly the croissant sandwich was a terrible thing to get to go because it was sooo soggy. And there was so much grease it was inedible. I will definitely be back for the biscuits and gravy and try other things. I strongly suggest you don't get the breakfast croissant sandwich, at least to go.

Yes, definitely go there. Reminds you of an older diner back in the day. Service is very good. Ambiance, well u can say there is none. That doesn't matter because the food is outstanding!!!

I have been craving some good pancakes for a week now. And Joe's is a classic good place for all of it. From the coffee to the 5 star service! Kristina was so kind and made sure everything was out fast and hot. Even got to meet the owner who was just as great. Not my first time in here but I'll always come back.Also they have homemade jam!
