"This place offers an awesome fusion of Mexican Sushi Rolls! Things like Carne Asada rolls and fried jalapeños with salmon! Sushi prices are very fair and the amount of food you get is a ton! I definitely couldn't come close to finishing the rolls I ordered. Awesome flavor combo with a great fusion twist."
"It has been a family tradition to pick up some Blue Fin's favorite teriyaki chicken plate! It comes with white rice and salad with ginger dressing.I also order a three piece shrimp tempura as my appetizer very goodEverything here is always delicious and freshly made to order.Service is always amazing and there is plenty of tables inside and outside to seat and enjoy your food."

The bento boxes are great! Added a beverage and salad. The salad and dressing brought back great memories along with the teriyaki chicken. The prices are still outstanding! This is a regular place for anyone in the area..."
"I was hooked on the first bite! Hubs and I had other plans for dinner, but when we saw Shimogamo we decided to change our plans and try out Shimogamo instead. So glad we did! We later found out that it was their soft opening week. The space is clean, modern, and minimalistic. It's open concept and you can watch the chefs at work. The bar half indoor, half outdoor.Reservations are recommended, but they did not turn us away. They said the wait would be 20-30 minutes and we could grab a drink at the bar. We went up to the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered the matcha hai and my husband requested a mocktail. He told the bartender to surprise him and he came up with a tasty one with ramen! The matcha hai comes with green tea, rice shochu, and lemon juice. It was quite refreshing. We were seated at the bar shortly after getting our drinks. We ordered the following:Fried shishito peppers $12Miso soup $5O-toro $22Dillish tuna roll $20Hamachi lime roll $20Saikyo miso pudding $8We started with fried shishito peppers, miso soup, and the o-toro. The o-toro is the fattiest tuna belly was my favorite from the night. It melted in my mouth. The dillish tuna roll and hamachi lime roll were also stellar. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We ended the meal with saikyo miso pudding, which has saikyo miso, custard, kokuto syrup, and miso powder. It was incredible. The staff was wonderful. They have some kinks to work out, but given it was only their first few weeks of opening, they did great. We are looking forward to returning soon!"
"Admittedly, I had written Yogis off. I do agree that the price is semi-high for being a casual order-at-the counter-restaurant chain. Our total came out to $28.96 (pre-tax) which isn't terrible for 2 people and leftovers. But adding a sushi roll (or 2!) would have brought us to $40+ which I would rather go to a sushi restaurant.Instead we placed our order online through their website:Salmon teriyaki bowl: Starts at $11.49 with white rice. Brown rice, no rice (all veggies) and half veggie, half rice, are all an additional .99¢. I chose the latter although I wish there were an option to specify half veggie, half brown rice (maybe in the comments?). I asked for a side of spicy mayo, .50¢. This brings the total to $12.98. In the comments I asked for a side of jalapenos although I was not expecting to actually get it. I was SOOO happy to get the side of jalapenos, lol! The pan seared salmon was DELICIOUS! Nice and crisp but still moist on the inside! The spicy teriyaki glaze was a nice touch and definitely "spicy" for most (I'd compare the spice level to regular hot cheetos or a medium sauce from BWW). It was a rather small size for being $13 but I was able to portion it into 2 servings!Chicken & beef yakisoba: $9.99, comes with 2 scoops of rice which is not depicted in the picture on their website. Yakisoba is fine, lacks wok hay. Also a little scarce on veggies except for some big pieces of zucchini. The beef was a little dry. Bf enjoyed it although I'd personally skip the yakisoba. Gyoza, $5.99/8 pieces: We can never resist gyoza! So beautifully crisp, so satisfying to bite into! The soy-ginger sauce is a nice touch! The ginger flavor is definite present.Overall Yogis is a quality choice for a healthy, on the go meal!"
"Yum! We stopped in here today for lunch. The restaurant is on the smaller side with a patio. We ordered the chicken teriyaki for my daughter, a heart attack roll, a tiger roll and an Alaska roll. The teriyaki was excellent and the chicken was tender. It was served with broccoli, asparagus and white rice. The heart attack roll was deep fried was spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese, jalapeño with spicy Mayo and eel sauce. It was divine. The tiger roll is a California roll topped with shrimp and eel sauce. I didn't try this one but my boyfriend loved it. The Alaska roll is a California roll topped with salmon and ponzu sauce. It was so good! The salmon was excellent and very fresh. For dessert, we had strawberry mochi ice cream! Always a great option. They offer green tea and vanilla as well. Service was good. I do wish they would clear plates when we finish them but the food is worth it anyway."
"I need to update my review since I can't edit the last one. The manager's name is David, not Michael, lol! He remembered me from my last visit and don't ask me why I said his name is Michael, but it's DAVID! He and his staff once again came through with quick, attentive service and the fresh, delicious food. We left nothing behind.Since I'll be in this area more often now, I know I'll continue to come back again and again. The only things that could make this even better is if they had Ikura and Uni!!! I can live without Nemo, but I'd love for them to add it to their menu.Still, at the prices they have going, it's an unbelievable deal! I am happy to support this business and will continue to show them love. Thank you, David, and the rest of the Crazy Tuna staff!"
"We had the pleasure of visiting Kobe for the first time tonight in over a decade. We could not be more impressed. Several times my husband mentioned "it was the best night ever." I made reservations (for 9 of us) ahead of time and had zero wait and were impressed by the friendly service and exciting hibachi show. Highly recommend the filet and scallops and the langostino hand roll.We had NY strip steak, filet mignon, chicken, shrimp and scallops, and it was all super, soft, delicious and packed with flavor. Our chef sure out on an eventful dinner show. The kids LOVED IT. The onion train was just the best. I am so happy this place is operating like it used to be and that it survived the pandemic. Can't wait to come back for the next celebration!"
"Sushi San is our go-to sushi place in the East Valley. We have tried a good amount of the other sushi restaurants in the area, and when it comes to sushi, there are a few things I look for. Two of them being consistency and quality. Sushi San's quality is very consistent, and a roll you order on one visit will taste and look the same the next time you visit. There's no variance in what it comes with, and the taste is always great. With sushi, I feel like you can quickly tell if the quality is good. Just by smelling or its appearance, you can tell how they store the fish and care for it. We have yet to visit Sushi San, and the quality is poor. Many times we have visited other restaurants in the East Valley, and on the first visit, it is messy or the fish is going bad. There's always parking available out front, and it's right after the Goodwill and a martial arts studio. I believe Sushi San is family run and they all work hard. Calling in orders is also a very easy process. It's never a long wait, and they provide soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. Some of our favorites are the Arizona Roll and the Tiger Roll. These are fancier versions of spicy tuna rolls and California rolls."
"Always on a mission for sushi, I came across this place after getting my 3rd tattoo. It's not a fancy place, more of a casual restaurant with a laid back vibe.I remember the service was slow, but the food was good. Everything we ordered was made fresh and there wasn't anything to complain about. Oh yeah, B.Y.O.T.!! Lol That is:BringYour OwnTajinHahahahaha!!! There's something about it that just adds a lil "feisty-ness" to the sushi. The Gyoza was cooked just right, and with a little soy sauce it was LIT! The Viking Roll was probably our fave of them all, with the Alaska coming in a close second. Let me tell you, if you haven't tried a sushi roll with lemon slices on top, you're missing out!! Just trust me on that one!I'm not sure if this location is part of a chain, because I ate at a Sushi Neko in Vegas back in January. That one was a bit fancier. In any case, this Sushi Neko is a decent place for some basic rolls and some unique ones, too. Try it out!"
"Great location, near shopping with plenty of parking. Love the look, feel and atmosphere inside, upscale, but casual enough for lunch, but also being sleek enough for an elegant dinner date. Hostess was friendly, and seated us right away, dining area was a choice of tables or booths. Our waiter got us drinks quickly and walked us through the menu. We tried different things on the menu based on recommendations and glad we did. Everything was amazing!!! Some of it seriously blew our mind and our taste buds. I have had Sashimi before, but none have been close to what we had at Umami. Umami is on the next level of dining from seafood to short-ribs. We will definitely be back to further explore the menu as everything we tried really did impress and left us wanting more, but at a certain point you have to push away and save some exploration for future visits. You can only indulge so much on the first visit of what will be many more."
"Delicious. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. Living in Seattle for over a dozen years, you get accustomed to sushi being EVERYWHERE. Immediately greeted by employees. Loved the paper menu and filled in our order. Reasonably priced. We both opted to try the purple rice in our meals. (I'd never had it before) it was fun and tasty. The store is clean, and music isn't too loud. LOVED the iced water dispenser, with cups for self-service. Bringing our tumblers next time. Each thing we ordered was DELICIOUS and we will definitely return. Next trip to grandma"

If you love sushi and Mexican food, you must try these delicious rolls, they have carne asada, its a mixture and is so good!!!!! The place is always packed and service sometimes is slow, but it's worth the wait. The place might look sketchy, but the food is fantastic.

I've been coming here for 10+years. Even if I don't have time I will never stop. I always get a bowl of Teriyaki chicken with extra chicken and rice. This is a family-owned business and " Lynn" the familiar face if you've already been here will ALWAYS be here unless she specifies. Even if this place is a Mainstay among teriyaki businesses here in Phoenix it's always gonna be known as "the little guy" which is why you should support bluefin. it's always quiet unless it's early lunch time. The building itself is a testament to longevity and endurance and grace

Nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia! Back in the day, 30 years ago I used to frequent Tokyo Express 3-4 times a week. I would go to the 19th Ave and Camelback location which disappeared a long time ago. The staff at that location was like my family. They would start my order as they saw me walk in. I drive by this location a lot and always tell myself I need to stop in! I am glad I did today!!!I am not sure what the science behind how food tastes imprint onto your brains. Sometimes I think what certain dishes taste like at a specific place does not always imprint correctly and do not taste the way my brain locked it in. In today's case, the food served to me matched exactly what my brain said it should have! The thing that has hooked me from my first taste at Tokyo Express is their ginger dressing! It makes plain iceberg lettuce pop 1000%! I am so happy that it is the same. If I ever find myself incarcerated and a last meal is available. I am sure it will be a Tokyo Express side salad. It has to be the last thought in my brain when I check out of this life! The Spicy Beef bowl is a solid choice. I enjoy the tender beef pieces along with perfectly sautéd onions. As far as the side salad goes! The above paragraph shows how fond I am of it. Your best bet is probably going in during the day. At night the dining is full of guest of the neighboring Cherry Blossom Cafe. They both share Tokyo Express' dining room and serves as Cherry Blossom's overflow seating.

They had quite a few customers inside. Despite that, the noise levels were fine today. I could hear my companion and vice versa. No music playing, which is best because it sometimes contributes to poor noise levels. We had the double salmon roll with spicy salmon / salmon / asparagus / cucumber / green onion / salted green onion sauce. I didn't think it tasted spicy. It did feel oily since they must have used oil in the salted green onion sauce. Otherwise, I thought it tasted pretty delicious. The hamachi lime roll with yellowtail / spicy tuna / cucumber / spicy mayo / shichimi lime / serrano / chives sounded good but we didn't get it this time. We also got the shimogamo curry with the japanese curry / steamed white rice / pork katsu. They also had the option of choice of chicken katsu. The pork was a little pink but moist. It was also nicely crispy in the outside but not burnt. The batter was not heavy but light. I like the light batter. It also included cut red onion slivers and pickled red radish. The sauce itself was a little spicy. I liked it. The chicken bowl also looked good with jidori thigh / spinach / red onion / red ginger / sweet soy / steamed white rice. We may have to try it some other time. They were out of the yuzu shio ramen with chicken broth / soy egg / chicken chashu / menma. I heard the spicy beef udon noodle soup with serrano chili beef miso / wakame / green onion / chili thread is good. I also heard the big and spicy roll with spicy salmon / escolar / cucumber / onion sauce / soy jalapeño / sriracha is good. The chirashi and udon carbonara were also recommended. Some dishes are only available during dinner like snow crab sunonomo. The hand rolls were small and really cute like teeny tiny one inch by two inch tacos. So adorable!Service was great. Water was refilled a couple of times and the food came out quickly. The staff was polite, friendly and knowledgeable.

John is a killer service person! When I came in I literally asked "Are you the manager?!" He made sure to great EVERY single customer with care, efficiency, and concern. He also said goodbye to each person and made sure that their needs were met. The food is always tremendous here but the real reason I left the review today was because of John. Wow he's incredible. If he's NOT the manager... he should be.

Stopped in about 7pm on a Saturday and although it wasn't packed it was very good. I love little places like this because they are small local gems. I ordered a few sushi rolls, edamame, and some ramen. All of the food was made to order and very tasty! The restaurant was clean and well kept. It was fairly quiet inside and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for great quality food and friendly people.

The place is packed and sometimes there's a wait for a table. I liked it better in the early days. The fish was sliced big and the slices were cold. Nowadays the slices are smaller and today was warm. At least I like that the fish still tastes fresh. I tried a lot of the speciality rolls: Chandler handle, Jessica albacore, and Cactus dragon roll. The Jessica albacore was quite spicy. They ran out of yellowtail sashimi. We ended up getting the tuna and salmon sashimi. The takoyaki was a little different than I remember. The inside was still soft and the outside was still crunchy. Best when hot. The regular rolls are smaller than the specialty rolls, so they are easier to eat. We had the spicy tuna and the salmon plus avocado regular rolls. They were super busy today and forgot to get us ginger and wasabi. After we asked, they were able to provide for us. We ran out of water but luckily we had an extra cup of water on the table. They usually forget at least one item from our order and somehow put in items that we have scratched out. Luckily today they were able to make the fix before we had to eat the wrong items again. It is a bit noisy inside with so many people.

Great for dinner with entertainment. A fun place for celebration or events and food. I ordered a New York strip but I like the flavor for the filet mignon and scallops better. Their chicken fried rice is highly recommended for the upgrade. We also ordered a dragon roll, it's great but pricey. Bravo for the chef tho.

We've went 4 times and I loved it there first 2 times all caution and full explaining happened, 3rd time not as much, but it was take out so I leave some room for miscommunication there. 4th time was so disappointing... The rolls are amazing and fresh. I truly love it at Trappers, but more training is needed for servers. I've noticed some are very knowledgeable about gluten free, others not so much at all. Today was awful as I was served a roll with tempura and a roll with onion crunch or something?!? There was a definite crunch when I bit into it! It was delicious, but unfortunately will make me sick. Our rolls were all mixed up as well so what I clearly ordered as gluten free, being specific about not having tempura, anything crunchy and to use gf teriyaki and gf soy sauce. My rolls came on 2 different plates, plated with non gluten free rolls. Gluten free food should ALWAYS be served on a separate plate, failure of kitchen and the server who should be checking the order prior to serving. I ate one piece and quickly caught the server and let her know... I don't know her name as I was also not offered a receipt. The way it was handled was- "The kitchen messed up" as she labeled it Celiac (she said they had selective reading and laughed) It's not a joke, it truly makes me sick, for extended periods time...not funny. She also said I can keep the rolls incorrectly made... (The ones I can't eat...) I also got to wait again for my food to be made, I went to Safeway while the rest of the group ate. Returned and my food still wasn't ready so that pretty much sucked too. Disappointed..."
"This place has hit rock-bottom. Won't be returning. Tried the Yakisoba chicken breast and it was swimming in a quart of teriyaki sauce and contained many hard, fatty unequaled pieces of chicken. The noodles were soaked in sauce. It was terrible. Short-staffed, new cooks, higher prices and the food got worse."
"This was such an amazing sushi place!I was picked up by a coworker and he recommended this place, highly. We walked in and it was such a nice modern restaurant with a very welcoming staff. We sat down and started to look over the large and amazing menu. They have a great deal for $31 which includes a Asahi Beer Tower and two appetizers! This is a huge deal and I was impressed with the price. We ordered that along with fried calamari and spicy tuna tartar. Both were amazing. We then ordered some Yakitori, some great rolls, sashimi, and really good drinks! The waitress was awesome and the food was top notch. I'll be adding this place to my list for when I come back here!"
"Tried Kay Sushi today, super convenient to where I live. It has a lovely outdoor patio with water fountain and bamboo, so pretty. Inside the decor is nice, different shades of green walls and one unobtrusive Tv, which is nice . Some places have so many tvs and the sound is so loud, but at Kay Sushi only my and the sound is muted.. They have a nice variety of rolls and a pretty extensive menu. A nice touch, they serve water with a side of lemons in a small wooden box, little details like this are so nice. I ordered the cucumbers and they weee deckuckus, cold and crunchy. My lunch date ordered got miso soup with his order and it was served which kept the soup piping hot, it also had sliced mushrooms along with the seaweed. We ordered a variety's of rolls and they were quite good. The staff is really nice and attentive. The dress I wore was a slippery materiel and my napkin on my lap slipped onto the floor, the server noticed this and quickly brought me a new napkins. So thoughtful and I didn't even ask for one. I will definitely be back and it's literally less than a mile from home!!"
"Surpassed my expectation for the price. Seriously so good. The all day happy hour will keep us coming back. I'm so happy to have found a solid sushi place close to home. When I went in to pick up my ordered I noticed that the inside is cozy and neatly decorated, I would dine in if the opportunity presents itself. The cashier/server that took my order was prompt and attentive. My order was ready in a reasonable amount of time."
"Sushi here is decent and the service is good. I've also had a takeout ramen and the way the food was packed was quite good as the soup was separated from the noodles to prevent the noodles from getting soggy. This restaurant has been around for awhile but it looks like the little Japanese restaurants that I've seen when we lived in Tokyo, made me feel like I was back in Japan."
"Amazing always!! The best quality fish and the drinks are incredible they also have a great happy hour menu. For the NA folks there is a wonderful selection of mocktails too :)"
"Love Yama and just came for our second time. They have a special appetizer right now called Chicken Karaage and it's amazing. The sushi is consistently delicious and the service is so great. Our faves are the Lollipop roll and Tuna Lover. We also love their entrees. The short ribs are particularly awesome and our kids like the Orange Chicken."
"Excelente food and efficient service! Small restaurant, quiet vibe even with the 3 big TV's if you would like to enjoy some good food while watching a game. Service was great! We received everything super fast including our meals. We started with the small wonton soup and it was delicious! We then shared a orange chicken which was also very delicious and sushi which was fresh. Will be visiting again!"
"Finally had the opportunity to dine in at the recently opened Swan, and what a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch we had! My wife and I sat on the patio and immediately commented to one another about how great it will be to pop in for happy hour with killer views of Troon Mountain and the surrounding area. Speaking of adult beverages - extensive sake and specialty Japanese beer selection, along with a handful of common beers, reasonable selection of wines and full bar with specialty cocktails. Today we started with the pan fried Gyoza , shared the Halibut and Salmon Belly nigiri, along with the Otoro Roll and Seared Salmon Roll. They also prepared us some fresh wasabi. The gyoza were perfectly savory and a great start to our meal. The nigiri was quite evidently fresh and the flavor of the fish was delightful. I especially liked the salmon belly - the salmon and rice with just a touch of fresh wasabi - fantastic. Finally the rolls! The Otoro Roll is tuna and avocado topped with bluefin tuna, pico wasabi, cilantro, and spicy ponzu. This roll presents a nice tuna flavor, with the perfect hint of heat. It's an easy going roll that you'll want that last piece of. The Seared Salmon roll brings you spicy crab, shrimp tempura, cucumber, seared salmon on top with spicy mayo and masago. A beautiful presentation, colorful and creative, light and easily palatable with just the right amount of mayo. Service was perfectly attentive and prompt. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated on the patio and provided with waters, soy sauce bowls, small plates and chopsticks . Our server was prompt, helpful and all our food came out with just the right speed. She kept our drinks filled, never ran dry! Swan is everything we could want in a local sushi and seafood joint and we are looking forward to trying everything on the menu in future visits!"
"Found a GEM!!!Met up with my friend as she just moved into the neighborhood. When we walked in it's pretty small, only 8-10 tables and 5 seats at the bar. So plan accordingly!!!! We luckily were able to call and make a reservation. The decor is dark, modern, and had anime figures (which was pretty epic!). They had neon dry erase boards that had the specials. And the music was not too loud where we couldn't hear each other. We started our meal off with miso soup! It was so hot when it came to us, which is the best! It was on the verge of being too salty but I have a high salt tolerance. For an appetizer we got the tears of ninja which is a jalapeño popper that has crab meat in the middle and is tempura fried. The tempura was some of the best I have ever had!!! The jalapeños weren't super spicy... if you are lucky! For our entrees we all got the bento box, please see the photos! The meat was cooked perfectly, the rice was good, and the California rolls were okay. But my favorite part of the box was the house salad and the tempura! I am a sucker for the carrot ginger salad dressing and theirs is amazing!!!! Finally their tempura was an assortment of veggies and they were golden brown and crispy! They remained crispy throughout our meal. I can't wait to come back and try out their rolls and other bento boxes!"
"After an appointment in the area and wanting to try a new place for sushi for lunch, found this place on Yelp. We were greeted right away and our server was very kind and attentive the entire time. They have a great lunch menu. Hubby and I both chose the Lunch Sushi Crush $13.75 which consists of miso soup, salad, 4 pieces of nigiri, 8 pieces of California roll and 8 pieces of spicy tuna roll. It was a ton of food and what a great value! My favorite was the tuna nigiri with a bit of real wasabi on top. It was so buttery and melted in my mouth. We were both very full and still had 11 pieces of California roll and 7 pieces of spicy tuna roll left over! I loved their decor, atmosphere, and how friendly everyone is. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again."
"I've passed by Saketini many times and never gave it much thought, especially after the fire(?) and the burnt/closed appearance. I was craving a crunchy California roll (cause I'm basic) and it actually is really hard to find! I found a crunchy Cali roll on Saketini's menu and bf ordered a Hungry roll (Avo, cream cheese, tuna). We split beef yakisoba. Our to go order was ready within 10-15 minutes! The crunchy Cali roll was okay. It wasn't as "crunchy" as I'd have preferred. The hungry roll was decent as well. They didn't seem particularly fresh. The beef yakisoba was the best item of the three, and had decent wok hay flavor. Overall Saketini was okay. Daruma is located in the same parking lot and is significantly better!"
"You know, I was pleasantly surprised. The place doesn't look like much on the outside. Just a bunch of faded posters in the windows. The storefront doesn't do them justice. There is so much more to the place than what meets the eye.Hidden inside is a spacious, clean and simply elegant dining room. It is obvious that they are a small mom & pop, which I really love to give a go. On this day, my wife was out of town, so I thought I would stock up on some really good leftovers. Their menu is complete with all of my Chinese favorites. Because I had never been to this restaurant, I wanted to gauge it by trying a little bit of everything! And I did! The really nice lady at the front thought I was crazy! So, lets see, let's start with the pot stickers, go with some sweet and sour pork, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young and throw in some house noodles. There, that should do it. Well, the lady brought out a big box of food. It was obvious that these were no small servings! Yikes, what did I do?I moved from a city on the west coast with really good Asian. An honestly, for the most part, many phoenix Asian restaurants just don't compare. The nice lady at the front told me that their food was really good, so I'm ready to eat! And I have a lot to eat! There is a Chinese restaurant near me at Dysart and Indian school that I really don't care too much for, so I know I will be comparing this food to that. So, on to the food. To me it was a solid 4 out of 5 which is really good for this area. The pot stickers were pretty good, better than I had previously had. The honey walnut prawns were my favorite and as good as any I had, a real must try. Let's see, the Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork really measured up and the house Lo Mein noodles with beef, shrimp & chicken rounded it all out. It all was very good.Tasty Asian is a nice little gem, that is really kind of hidden from public view. While there I noticed a few people pop in and out to pick up their to-go orders. Yep, this is the perfect place for that! A nice easy meal, that is something different, with leftovers galore. Yes, I have found my new, Tasty Asian restaurant!"
"Looking for a teppanyaki experience that far exceeds Benihana? This is it. The friendliest staff , great chefs, and awesome food. The best part is they are timely in delivery. Teppanyaki is meant to be a great dinner show, but let's be real, no one wants to wait 1.5 hours for the show to start. Highly recommend this spot!"
"Ordered a tofu teriyaki bowl with brown rice and veggies for delivery. Tofu had a nice light crisp to it. But the vegetables could've used some seasoning or could've been stir fried. The tofu bowl didnt have the teriyaki sauce or sesame seeds as pictured on the food app, so I called the restaurant. They were kind enough to have someone from the restaurant deliver the sauce separately. Appreciate the prompt action to correct their mistake! 5 stars for Great customer service!"
"This place is perfect if you're very hungry. The portions are huge. Service was excellent. Bento boxes are inexpensive. However, the chicken teriyaki came out cold. It tasted delicious but would've been better hot. The tempura was delicious, fresh and hot. The sushi rolls were also good. We also had salmon teriyaki and it was perfect. Recommend if you're in the area and craving Japanese food. Enjoy!"
"I love me some katsu! The crispy crunchy breaded meat is simply irresistible so I knew I had to check this place out after shopping at H Mart. I tried out the katsu pork to go. It was ready in only a few minutes, packaged very securely. In the Styrofoam container there were two cut pieces of pork katsu, a mound of rice and a small salad. Gravy and salad dressing were in separate containers, and there was also a small container for some pickled radish and jalapeno. Overall I liked the meal. The katsu was a little soggy by the time I got back home but I think that's hard to avoid in to-go orders. The cutlet was very flavorful and I enjoyed the gravy with it. The salad and rice were both nicely presented and the dressing went well with the shredded cabbage. The only thing I didn't like was that the katsu was plated on top of some crispy fried clear noodles which in a dine in order would still stay light, crispy and easy to eat. When I ate the cutlet those noodles had turned rock hard and it made for some unpleasant textures to chew through as I was eating the main component of my meal.Service was friendly and good at answering any questions I had."
"I was pretty impressed for delivery on this order. I've visited the establishment in person at other locations in the past. I think they're a major step up for some Americanized oriental in comparison to Panda or others. Their pot stickers would probably be better if they offered steamed & not just fried. The fried is a bit too crispy for my liking. And it would be nice if they added a bit more sauce than only 1/4 of the container. I truly wish I could order just the yakisoba without meat or vegetable fillers. They do give a plentiful portion, I'm just not a fan of the soggy veggies I have to pick out. However, the flavor is great & the scoop of rice on the side is nice! The "egg rolls" are actually vegetable spring rolls. And they're good- I actually like the smaller size, plus they include a decent mini sweet & sour cup for each! But again, I wish they offered non-fried spring rolls. There are a decent amount of selections for sushi. My favorite is the Las Vegas roll. For delivery, it was still solid, fresh & came with all the fixins. Totally appreciated the chopsticks, napkins, fork, ginger & soy sauce included in the delivery. Everything was packaged well, arrived hot & one of the better deliveries I've had."
"Very nice restaurant but I felt a bit underdressed. I didn't know it was kind of a fine dining scene. I was looking more into the food menu hehe. Anyway, the vibe is more of a late date night scene. My family and I went for dinner (party of 7) and we had my nephew come along (he is 2 years old). He was well behaved so it was good. We were seated upstairs. There are stairs to go up in the dining area but for me, temporarily walking with a cane, super glad they had an elevator. But that elevator took forever lol I do love the menu and the food choices we had ordered however, it was just a small plate. Would love to order more though and perhaps try other cocktails and perhaps the NY strip steak (which they ran out of last night- Sunday) for next time. Also there was one food- photo un-named (a server came to our table and set it down but we didn't order the food, so it came to us by mistake) but our waitress that night apologize but still told us to try because it's really good (which it was!) and it didn't get charge on our checkThey do validate parking for 2 hrs. We parked right across (Chase bank)"
"Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but the food was not good at all. Service was very friendly and attentive.Came here for lunch one day. The restaurant was not busy at all so I was able to get a table right away. There was two other patrons. Food came out fairly fast which was very nice. The seafood salad was super duper sugary and tasted like the package ones you get from the Asian grocery store. I had two bites and left it. The tofu soup was even worse, it was basically packaged miso soup add it with water, and there were pieces of tofu in the soup. This is definitely not the Korean tofu soup that it claims to be. Prices are reasonable, but I definitely would not return for the food."
"I've been here more than 5 times and it's always great. One of the best sushi I've ever tasted as well! I LOVE their eel nigiri! They really have the best eel nigiri among all others I've tried. Service is great. After all the times I've been here, the last time they were honestly slow. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our main course food/sushi's but it's ok we had the drinks & 1 appetizer. Our server was still very attentive & nice. She wanted us they don't have a lot of chef so it was understandable. We've been here many times and that was the first time they were slow so it is not a bjgThis place never fails! They also have the best alcoholic milk tea boba (idk the entire name for it). I've come by here many times & it's always been an amazing experience. 100% recommend!"
"Outstanding place for lunch In downtown Buckeye, I got the hibachi trio to go and was super impressed. Sauces come on the side, which was perfect. The fried rice was simple, and the green onion was a nice touch. I will most definitely be back to do this again."
