"THE BEST!! They catered my son's birthday party and I don't know who enjoyed the food more, the kids or the adults."
"While looking for a place to pick up dinner we came across Chispa's in the area. We decided to give it a shot and created an online order and everything we got was fresh and delicious:Ceviche - Fresh and tasty Chips and Guac - DittoCarne Asada Quesadilla - ended up saving this for the week and it was tasted great re-heated in the airfryer - lots of carne asada too!Pollo Asado and Al Pastor TacosChispas Salad with ChickenChicken Tenders/Kids BurritoPick up was super easy and on-time, they had it ready to go right when I got there. There were a few people inside - very clean and the service was friendly. I thought the value for what we got was spot on, great quality, and lot of amazing options to fit anyone's taste. Will definitely try this place again (especially breakfast!)"

Visit Restaurant Page"My friend has been talking this place up as she said it's a must stop when in the plaza shopping at Rocket a Go Go. Today I finally stopped by with her to experience, and loved it! The staff member was super friendly and even advised of their current offer of a free original when you spend $10+. This allowed me to try both a drink and food item, which I enjoyed both! With the heat, I avoid dairy or heavier drinks so I went with a strawberry lemonade which was very refreshing for only $5! Love the cute murals on the wall for photos and it was cozy if you wanted to sip in the air conditioned building. I'll definitely return to try a milk tea in the future as they seem to have an amazing selection to try more items. Plus, a Yelp friend suggested their cold brew so I foresee a visit soon because I adore cold brew!"
"Simple, good food. No nonsense. I'm a fan. I will be going back today for dinner!"
"Desert Dawgs is great. Only there on Saturdays so be sure to hit him up then. The guy running it is Mark. He is about as friendly as they come. Sonoran dogs are great. I love the nacho dog. The Chicago dog is great and has a very authentic taste. Stop by Art Frank's furniture while you are there."
"I like this Portillo's location near SanTan Village in Gilbert. It is a 7,800 square-foot space that has a retro garage theme to it. It also has a large parking lot. Portillo's is a chain that originated in Chicago in the early 60's and are known for their Chicago-style hot dogs. There are lots of photos on the wall that pay homage to their early days. Besides their hot dogs, I love the Italian Beef with Peppers, Onion Rings, Broiled Chicken Sandwich and the Chocolate Cake Shake. I recently came here and got to try one of their new salads off their menu. My first Portillo's experience was actually in Chicago. I remember trying my first Chicago-style dog and really enjoying it. Ever since my first trip to the Windy City back in 2012, Portillo's locations have been popping up all over the Valley. We have a lot of people from Chicago that live here and lately AZ has become home to many of their restaurants. When the employees call your number, they like to do it in a rhyme over the microphone. This location also has a drive-thru."
"Some of the best Chicago style hot dogs I've had in the valley. Located right outside in the parking lot of Home Depo, they sell couple of different hot dogs for reasonable prices. Their hot polish dog is the most popular item on the menu and I recommend getting all the fixings. Plus if you get a bag of chips, they provide lime juice and chili if you wanted to add it on top which is a nice thing."
"Heck yeah I give this place 5 stars! You know why? Because every now and then I want a box of delicious chicken wings and Long Wong's hits the mark. And a chili dog...and onion rings...and burgers. On top of all of this, the name is fun to say! This is the perfect grab-and-go on your way home for work. It's nothing fancy but it doesn't have to be. It delivers! There are plenty of tables inside if you just can't wait. Also a few picnic tables outside. Lots of pictures of satisfied customers on the walls. Definitely a special treat!"
"We stopped by quick as the boys wanted a hot dog. There was 1 guy that was making all the dogs and a lady grabbing the orders. We didn't wait long and the hubs just wanted a plain dog with ketchup and mustard. I wasn't hungry otherwise I would've gone for the full works Sonoran dog. It was $4 just for the hot dog. I would've got a picture but the poor hotdog was dropped after the first bite but that one bite was good. The hotdog was worth the $4 and we will be coming back for dinner one night to grab one and take pics without dropping it on the floor lol"
"Delicious drinks and dogs! This place has such a dope ambiance! It is truly a place where you can bring your laptop, grab a corner, and eat some good treats. They have a variety of teas, bobas, fruit jelly, blended drinks, and more. I love tropical fruits, so seeing Lychee and Passion fruit on the menu is a huge win. My kids love the teas. They are a little too sweet for me. However, I added water, and it was perfect. I do believe you can adjust the sweet level for more balance. Now, for the star of the show, the Krispy dogs! Filling-Beef,Cheese, or half and half Coating-Hot Cheeto, Churro, Krispy,Potato, or Classic. What I love is that meat is a great quality beef, and the coating options are legit! The Krispy Dog is probably my favorite because it offers a nice balance of sweet and savory, which compliments the hot dog perfectly. My son loves the Hot Cheeto because what kids aren't obsessed with hot stuff right now.I would have given them another star if the dogs were crispier. If the Hot Dog is called Krispy, then I expect a crunch when I bite it and soft on the inside. Circa Ala Hot Dog on the Stick mall days, man miss them. However, I brought the dogs home and popped them in the air fryer for a few minutes, and it truly was another level!!! All in all, this place is solid, unique, and great customer service. I can't wait to try the Kimchi fries, which I will update my review when I do. Until then, go get one!"
"I think it's safe to say that there is no better fast food milkshake in existence than the strawberry shake at Portillo's. I have gotten several people addicted to these over the last few years. I like the Glendale location because there is rarely a line (granted, I usually stop here after leaving Costco and it's not during peak hours so take that into consideration), the service is always efficient, and I can get in and out of the drive thru quickly. I enjoy their chopped salad and like that you can customize items (i.e. no onions!). Portillo's is always a great option. Make sure you try the strawberry shake - you will not be sorry!"
"Who doesn't like hot dogs? Mystery cuts of meat throw-away, sluiced & squeezed into a phallic form--in a way, it's Ouroboros of Man eating his own "tail" so to speak--that ancestral Gods would nod appreciatively to. With almost as much versatility as the wheel or Betty White ( love my Golden Girl ), hard to mess up & difficult to perfect, the Hot Dog is the under appreciated meal substitute to white linen dining. I had the signature Voodoo Dog, and if you've never had it for breakfast, give it a try sometime. Filling but not that thanksgiving kinda full when you feel the need to purge & pray. Saul ( Goodman? ), the guy knows his market, good product and the way to return business is customer service. Hit all points. When you're just craving a Voodoo Dog, you know who you need to call: Better Call Saul."

Update- After a year of consistently trying this place I can genuinely say it never disappoints. The description is in the name - it's fast and fresh. It's not the rich, indulgent, calorie-dense food you'll get from a sit down Mexican restaurant (which I prefer) but the simple flavors and always fresh veggies keep me going back. I do wish their hot sauce was a bit spicier but everything is consistently delicious here. I hope they're around for a long time!

If you're looking for a variety of treats that are not too sweet and that just hit the spot, look no further because this is the place to visit! We stopped by on Saturday around 11am and it was pretty busy. The location was easy to find and the plaza had plenty of parking. The employees were very friendly and gave us enough time to look over the menu. We ordered one Mochi Donut of each of the following flavors: Lychee, Okinawa Milk Tea, Melon, Original, Matcha, and Sugar. We ordered the following drinks: One thai tea with boba, one matcha tea with oatmilk, a strawberry lemonade, and a white peach tea with lychee. We also shared a hot dog which we ordered plain (on the outside) and for the inside we asked for half cheese and half sausage. The Mochi Donut's were delicious! They were soft - not crusty, flavorful, and we could actually taste each of the flavors we chose. These did not have a "greasy" taste like other ones I've tried at other shops. Here all the flavors had their own unique taste and all were very good. My favorite was the "original flavor" and the Okinawa Milk Tea. The white peach tea was perfect since it was soo hot out on the day we visited. The drink was refreshing and it was not overpoweringly sweet. Th e strawberry lemonade also hit the spot. It was cold and refreshing! The hotdog was another favorite of mine. The outside was crunchy / crispy and the yummy-ness was all in the inside.. The cheese was hot and gooey when I took my first bite. Then a few bites later, I was down to the sausage. The sausage was juicy, hot, and tasted really good! I want to say that the sausage was definitely my favorite part, yummy. The inside is super cute and it was very clean. They have a few chairs along the wall where you can sit and eat your treats. Each location is ran by a different entity so you ought to see a difference in the quality of the food and service if you visit a different location.I will most definitely be back soon. The flavors rotate and I can't wait to try some more! :D

Great for lunch, burgers Fries, cooked to order so you will wait about 10 mins. It's a drive up window no inside eating. But our mechanics love to go there & grab a good big meal for your $. Better than little fast food BK burgers better price too. They have other food besides burgers but haven't tried them.

I honestly didn't know there was a portillos in the East Valley. I always drove over to Tempe. This location had a huge parking lot, their great decor, and delicious food. I always tend to gravitate towards their sandwiches, which is a no-brainer, but this time, I opted for their spicy chopped salad. It was full of ingredients and was spicy for sure. Luckily, I didn't get hit with the periodic capsaicin sweats. I wasn't sure if it would be big enough for dinner, but it certainly was filling. My backup was to get a sandwich, and fries of the salad weren't enough, but I didn't need to... which was a bad thing as I wanted both! Ha! Would definitely come back, perhaps beat my challenge to have both a salad and sandwich with fries. Game on! See you next time, portillos!

Great wings and pizza. This is a great deal, and honestly not the best pizza I've ever had but still great and the wings are always decent as well. Overall solid place I would recommend for a budget pizza night !
Visit Restaurant Page"Loved it and can't wait to go back! Even fries were good and I had to get a chocolate shake which was excellent. The interior is nice with lots of seating and you order at the counter. Hot dogs today and burgers tomorrow! It's all good!"
"Best birria in Arizona! We have been to many places here in Arizona because my father is from Guadalajara, but this one tops the list! Also make sure to try the Skwinkleada it is SOO GOOD better than the mangoneada."
"SB is in the nice, upscale shopping center at Pinnacle Peak rd. and Scottsdale rd with plenty of parking and outside plus indoor seating.Counter man Antonio was really helpful, courteous and did 10+ customer service.I enjoyed my mushroom swiss burger and very large portions of yummy mozzerella sticks and fried zucchini(one of my favorites), nice to see on their menu.My food was hot and ready fast.Great value, service + yummy food=return visits."
"Life is better with a burger ! Treat yourself to their mouthwatering burger ! We tried the Nuka Burger it is made with Lean Angus Beef which the beef was so juicy so It being a Double Patty was even better! It also has 2 American Cheese Slices , topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions, Their scrumptious Fancy Sauce that makes the burger even better ! & their Homemade Chili Cheese & you cant forget the side of onion rings, those onion rings are sooo crispy, took some to go & they were still crispy afterwards! They are a food truck, they are a diner literallllly on wheels with very delicious burgers, make sure you stop by ! . We also had the Green Chili Burger , AMAZING . It is made from Lean Angus Beef Patty , Pepper Jack Cheese, Grilled whole Green Chili ,Chipotle Sauce, Fresh Lettuce and of course your choose of fries or onion rings! FRIES WERE MY FAVORITE ! Love crinkle fries and they season them sooooo good"
"Since opening in 2019, I have frequented this location as they hands down have the best burgers in town! Heck, maybe even the whole valley! They make their own sauces and have a great set up to pick and choose what you want to make your perfect burger. I've vocally supported them, and many in the community have agreed after trying them that they are the most delicious burgers they've had out! Food is always a great thing to make the dining experience, but how is the service you may ask? You order at a register and they are always friendly. You can sit and sip your beverage while they prepare, and they will call you when it is ready. They do have a glass guard up where you can view to see them in action to! Always great to sit back, relax, and await an epic burger! Yum!"
"This place is delicious!! Hubs loves sloppy joes so we decided to stop in on a Thursday for their sloppy Joe's and I had to try their tuna salad sandwich. The customer service was friendly and this spot is just a little hole in the wall with good food. The sloppy joe sliders had tons of meat and the softest slider roll. They were good! The tuna salad was packed with goodies and the sandwich wasn't skimpy. Definitely recommend both. Still need to try their Sandwiches, burgers and Chicago dogs. Will be back again soon!"
"Pro-tip: The loaded nachos portion is plentiful!Highlights: Great value and quick serviceLowlights: The nachos were a bit over-sauced for me and I wish they gave more toppings rather than sauce. I know it's inevitable with loaded nachos, but the chips were pretty soggy from drowning in sauce, so it would have been nice to have less sauce for that as well."
"So me and my wife just tried this place tonite and it was amazing I highly recommend this place for the prices down to the food the only bad thing is they forgot the jalapeños with our nachos but they were still good the cheese was hot and not on the nachos in a separate cup so they were fresh again I highly recommend giving them a try we will be ordering again!!!!!"
"This restaurant just keeps getting better! Like most restaurants during off season getting folks through the door can be a challenge. But if you're full time and have not tried this place out yet you are missing out.Weekends still tend to be busy as people who travel I17 will make this a stop and agar for good reason!"
"I know what most people think, "tacos from a food truck?!" Well you don't have to worry. This place is legit and has really tasty tacos. I had there crispy tripa tacos, asada and cabeza. Zero complaints! The service here was pretty quick. You sit at one of the tables and someone will be there to take your order. Food came out quickly and was devoured just as fast. Enjoy!"
"So we went to our favorite brewery Wrenhouse to check this place out since we love German food. We were a little nervous when we got there and saw it pretty much looked like a hotdog cart. We got a Reuben sandwich, the pretzels and cheese and the Das Brat. The biggest winner was the Reuben. I cannot say enough about this sandwich, the corned beef was AMAZING (my husband was chatting with the owner, and apparently he MAKES it!!) the bread was perfect, the cheese was mixed in with the meat... the kraut....man...it is literally the best Reuben or any other sandwich I have eaten in my 50 years of life. The brat was also good, was a little heavy on the aoli and onion for me, but the kraut, mustard and sausage were excellent. The beer cheese was awesome, and I am sure the pretzels were amazing when they came out of the oven, but didn't travel or age well. They served as a passable vehicle for the amazing beer cheese. Don't let the humble appearance fool you, this man is doing the Lord's work."
"The dogs were interesting, I ordered four or five different dogs and my co-workers and I sampled them out and again they were good. But honestly I don't see myself going back. The service was fine and the place was busy and clean."
"The staff is friendly and helpful! The burgers are amazing, the bread/buns melts in your mouth, the fried side options are extensive, I've been here twice now and I love 9 hours away! I would definitely make a point to visit again. Southwest burger, make it a double and it's perfect! The onion rings were better than the cauliflower and the chili fries are evil and delicious"
"Amazing Sonoran hot dogs!!!! I missed these from LA sooo much. I would go here more often if I lived closer :(. The truck was pretty easy to spot, it's in a parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. When we went, there was also a stand nearby with a woman selling delicious looking desserts. There aren't tables or chairs for dining, so we sat on a ledge/wall near our car. We got the Yaqui (original; $6) and the Chile-dogo ($7.50). They were amazing! We couldn't tell much of a different between the Yaqui and Chile-dogo in terms of taste (and presentation is very similar too). Both came with a chile pepper on the side. These hot dogs are LOADED!!! I've never had such loaded Sonoran hot dogs, but I loved it! They are on the smaller side, but that's why they're less than $10 (which I think is a great price for these). If you are very hungry or just eat a lot, I would recommend getting more than one. One was enough for me to get to a "good full" because I wasn't starving at the time. It was really messy to eat, so make sure you get napkins. There wasn't any spice to our hot dogs, so next time I want to try one that is spicy; I loved the Yaqui though. The workers were all very friendly and the service was relatively fast considering it was decently busy at the time. I can't wait to go back!"
"I use to think I had to drive to Tucson for a good sonoran dog. Not anymore.. Emilio's Sonoran dog was delicious. Small place on 19th street just off Bell Road. Lots of other nice looking choices on the menu. I was just there for a Sonoran dog fix and this new find did not disappoint."
"I hate to say it, but to me Anthem is where businesses especially local ones go to die. I'm not saying that's true so don't fact check me, but every time I stop in the area looking for something that could revive it just a little I am disappointed, frustrated or if excited it is short lived. Most small local owned don't survive. We have to try harder to support them and keep this community going. Today I found myself in the Safeway Parking lot and Legends caught my eye. The parking lot is very busy and it took me a moment to find spot. There's a nice patio at the entrance with misters and it felt pretty decent out there if you choose to eat outside. Upon walking in w me with a hostess station. It a quite busy as it a noon an no one was at the counter so I waited. Fairly quick an employee acknowledged me and told me gets be with me in a few moments. I appreciated the acknowledgment. Once helped we were quickly seated, given menus and our drink orders taken. The vibe is great and so many different TV's to watch sports and such; which is of course ha they're known for. There's a decent size bar and with the great happy hour during the week it was full. The menu is vast and it was a bit hard o choose a main course. We decided on the Anthem Nachos with green chili pork to share ahead of our meal. They looked quite large in other photos so we decided to share the triple decker club sandwich with fries. They offer regular or sweet potato fries or for a few extra bucks onion rings. Thank God I didn't also order the Cuban sandwich because after we ate the nachos we were border line full and when the club was brought out holy smokes it was huge! They even split the club onto two separate plates for us which we appreciated. When I say the club was huge I'm speaking of the half portion I ate ha ha . I'm going out on a limb and saying it was one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. The bread was toasts well, but not hard or burnt . It was loaded with meat, avocado, bacon... You name it it had it all. The fries were crispy. The nachos were good, the green chili pork was moist and flavorful. Plenty of toppings including jalepeno, beans, guacamole and of course some cheese. They were good, but I will say the way the shredded cheese stuck to the chips it seemed microwaved for moment. Not a huge issue; again still good, but I'd prefer another method. That being said I'd eat them again. Service was awesome. She was friendly and funny. We didn't have to ask for nothing or wait long. From what I can gather Legends has been around decades. I can't say if in the same location, but it's definitely a win Anthem needed and it's local! Prices were fair and I was able to take half of my half club home ha ha . Come hungry and bring four friends. I'm counting down to my next visit to try the jalepeno burgers or Cuban."
"I saw the reviews on Yelp and had to try their Italian beef. The shop inside is modern and vibrant with color. The menu had quite a few options and everything looked real good. I'm a huge fan of Italian beef sandwiches so of course I got that, fries, and chili. The Italian beef can come with certain vegetables for toppings. I got onions and Mushrooms, yum. The chili had meat that was very mushy vs ground meat. I can't describe it other than cafeteria type meat for tacos. I'm not knocking it, I love that meat. It was tasty and slightly spicy too. The fries were piping hot and fresh and they were a large serving for the meal. I'm very pleased overall and I look forward to the next visit."
"I'm not a big fan of Sonora style hot dogs but on the go J spotted this lunch truck and decided Hey why not?! The Sonoran hot dogs are nothing like the Alley Dogs in LA and therefore I was very hesitant at 1st. The Sonora style hotdogs are not serve on a typical hot dog bun... it comes in a Bolillo style bun and it comes with pinto beans, tomatoes, green salsa, jalapeño, mustard, mayonnaise, avocado and cotija cheese on top. A lot of ingredients if you ask me put it's pretty darn tasty. The kid who took my order was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place."
"Admittedly not a hot dog eater but you must try this at least once. It's very straightforward. Order. Sit. Eat. I saw a review about the best Sonoran dogs in Phoenix and had to try this. It was a simple food truck with tables and chairs. Very clean and nice although there is some traffic on 19th avenue. Service was very efficient and friendly. The bacon wrapped dogs smell so good while they are cooking and they pile them high with all kinds of stuff! I loved the bread. It is not from a wrapper but from a bakery somewhere and was incredibly fresh. We ended up doing take out and eating at home on our patio. Great place to take an out of town guest who is up for the real Sonoran dog experience."
"We were downtown at 11am and had heard about this place from a friend, decided to give it a try. Parking lot had one car, but the drive through had a few cars lined up. Was a little hesitant their not having a lunch crowd, but decided to give it a go.Ordered two burgers with onion rings and two root beer shakes. Had a seat in one of the booths. The decor is a 50's theme, stainless steel ceilings, black and white checkered floors, red booths and table seating. A big screen is showing 50's lore while the music is playing from speakers of that decade. Awesome art to gaze upon while waiting for our lunch to be served. Bright and wide windows to view the tall buildings and Central Avenue. Place is immaculate and looks new, loved their setup! Our orders were served to us and... wow! This burger put In-and-Out, 5 Guys, to shame! Best burger I have had in years! I ordered the regular with everything, my husband ordered the mushroom burger. I had forgotten how great ground beef can taste! All the fixings were fresh and crisp. I honestly can say the burger looked like a commercial advertisement! Onions rings were great, and the root beer float was amazing!I will definitely return when back in the downtown area! Thumbs up!!"
"Nice ChangeThis was my first visit to Picossitos. My nephew and I shared the raspberry nieve with pecan ice cream and lechera, strawberry fresas con crema, and hot Cheetos with nacho cheese. The food/snacks were definitely tasty. Picossitos has a nice selection ice cream and snacks. Will definitely come back for antojos!"
"I'm guessing it's been about 5 years since I've eaten a hot dog, so when Nogales Hot Dogs was our destination for dinner I didn't know what to expect. We were the first to get there when it opened for the night and everyone was so friendly. (Actually, we got there like 20 min. before they opened & I'm not gonna lie... it was SO dark & a little sketch that I almost jumped back in the Uber to take us elsewhere. So happy we didn't do that.) Don't stress about what to order/how to order. (We stressed because we were the only people there.) They ask how many hot dogs you want and if you want them served with everything (yes), then they bring them to you. They have a cooler filled with additional toppings (cheese & jalapeños & salsas). As we were finishing our hotdogs, the parking lot filled up and Ubers were dropping off multiple large groups of people clearly getting ready to start their night off with delicious eats. As we were getting into our Uber to leave, there must have been a line of about 30 people. There's a line for a reason, this place has good hot dogs and it's something you should experience."
"Yummy!!! Brought me back to my childhood, at the fair! These corn dogs are amazing. They have unique coatings, but today I went all American, and had the traditional corn dog, it was crispy, with just right amount of sweetness. Loved it. The fries were crispy, hot and spicy. The customer service was awesome, all made to order, the establishment was clean and inviting. The food packaging is perfection! Love the boxes. Price point is great, you get what you pay for! 100% recommend"
