Hanny's

So, we tried another restaurant this evening. Hanny's, it was a department store back in the day but today its a bar/ restaurant. I have read most if the recent reviews and I can tell that on a Monday at 630pm it was not crowded or loud. But i can see that on Friday, Saturday evenings it could crowded and loud. The vibe of place is cool and modern. We were seated the waitresses was engaging and talked about the history of the building and took our drink, orders. The food, you scan the QR code, which in a why I think is ok. They have a Happy hour between 3-6pm, we missed that. The menu has a little bit of everything. We started off with the Shrimp Cocktail my husband and I shared this, you get 5 large shrimp which was the perfect size to split. My husband ordered the chicken club sandwich which cane with fries. He liked it, i had the cauliflower Caprese and In added steak to it. Wow, this was amazing think a hash with steak on top. It came with mushrooms, red peppers, onions. This was a great keto meal, the steak had the perfect seasoning the relish of mushrooms red peoper snd onion was excellent and the cauliflower was roasted and was excellent. I highly recommend this if you are keto. For dessert we split the GF Brownie, it comes with gelato so we got an extra scoop of gelato so we had our own. This was excellent!!!No doubt we will be back here, next time we will split a pizza.

My friends and I came here after work to enjoy the happy hour for the last hour only available from 3 to 6 PM on select appetizers and drinks. I wish the happy hour offered more sweeter drinks for their happy hour specials. We order the hot and honey pepperoni pizza, the side wander fries, the plate, the butter, cake, and chicken. Everything we order were from the happy hour special except for our pizza which was $19 and other items range from 6 to 7 dollars and up. My friend told me the history of this place which used to be a store many years ago now its a restaurant w/ unique bathrooms in the upper level and have a creepy with dolls. Be careful I heard the dolls are evil & I had seen too many movies. We enjoyed all of our food and would like to come again in the future.

Been here a long time ago and remember liking the hot honey pizza. Tried something else another time as well but can't remember what it was. We met up with 3 other friends who were already upstairs in here around 7:30pm. They asked for a table downstairs after confirming that we were meeting up. I felt bad for our waiter because we had all eaten already so none of us got food. Table of 7 of us. Most of them ordered drinks though. I took a break at this point lol. It was a good thing we had the table in the corner that was a bit secluded because we were pretty loud. It's a cool spot for late night. Different vibe. They have a creepy basement area with caged up dolls. There's also a cool kaleidoscope art installation. I wish I stepped inside to get a better video of that! Would come back again another time if I'm in the area

The best place to go here, is during the weekday when there isn't a huge crowd as there usually is. (I've been told) I met up with my Yelp besties in which, was one of our best places chosen to meet up at thus far. The parking was irritating but it's in downtown so there's no surprise there! If you're lucky, you will get a slot spot parking, in the front of the establishment as I did. The waitress and staff were all really nice and catering. The food was great! I had the Hanny's plate, Fries and a slice of the honey pizza. The fries were my absolute favorite and the hh portions are perfect! This is a place I'd go to, regardless of hh or not. It's worth it! The upstairs is a great place to have a bridal shower as there's, another bar along with nice seating overlooking the restaurant. I was shocked to hear that, this Hanny's location used to be a shopping center turned into a restaurant. Hench the, signs being still up. Nice!!! The bathroom area was neat because of the lighting and the doors, appearing to be speak easy doors. I'm not a fan of the bathrooms, because although small, you gotta touch everything...sink handles and door... ugh! I used toilet tissue to open the door and to touch the sink to wash my hands. Yes, I'm a bit of a germaphobe. Side eye if you're not! ‍The place is perfect for gatherings as well as, date night! The ambiance is perfect! My only.... let's say, creeper moment was seeing the many dolls in the basement, behind a huge secured, locked gate.This was a total CSI SCENE I was so creeped out that, I refused to take photos because, I didn't want that bad juju in my phone. Lmao frfr I honestly would like to know the story behind these dolls and being in the basement all crowded around a table. Yikes! I need a CSI INVESTIGATION on this, ASAP! IN ANY CASE, I'm looking forward to going back here for dindin. Thanks for a great the great food! Perfect location!

A fab spot to grab light bites and cocktails downtown before or after a game, show, symphony, etc. It is set in an old department store and I highly suggest walking around and exploring the building. You will see some interesting things! I love their dirty martinis and lemon drops. We may actually drop back in this weekend after attending a concert. See you soon, Hanny's!

I stopped by here before going to a Suns game. I heard great things about the store and the food so I wanted to check it out. It was happy hour so I was looking to get a quick bite to eat. The front desk was not very helpful when I entered and just said sit anywhere. I found a table at the end and then waited several minutes for the waitress to come by. She was not very friendly and did not provide any options to order. The waitress on the tables nearby was much for attentive and helpful to the customers. I should have moved tables and had a better experience. I decided to order the chicken strips and the Mistletoe cocktail. The drink was brought out quickly. It was very sweet and lacked much alcohol. The chicken strips were brought out shortly after that. They were very tiny pieces on a piece of lettuce. They were very cold and tasted like rubber. I had to wait several more minutes for the waitress to come around. I finally asked someone to find her and address my complaint. Luckily, they were able to make a new one and bring it quickly. It was warmer but the quality was still not great. After that was done it took a while to get the check but I could not wait to get out of there.

Stopped here with a few friends for a late dinner and drinks after attending an event downtown. The positives are that they offer a decent sized menu late night, their pizzas are thin, light, and refreshing, and the place itself is pretty big so on most week nights, there is never a wait. Downsides are that the music can be a bit loud if you're in a group and wishing to have conversations. Though it was a slow and random Sunday night during our experience, the service can be a bit on the slower side too as it took our server a little while to refill our waters and put in for the next round of drinks. Overall, it's still a place I will visit every so often especially when I'm in the area or there are visitors from out of town. FYI, the ambiance or vibe of the place is a little nicer so if you come wearing laxed or casual attire, you may feel a bit out of place.

Hanny's a cool place to stop at and grab a bite to eat and cocktail. Was in the downtown area for a show and it was a 1st Friday at that and we didn't have reservations anywhere so we headed to Hannys where the wait was less than 20 minutes, not bad for 1st Friday!We started our meals with a bottle of wine between us. After checking out the menu I went with the BLT. I have been craving one for days and what a perfect time to grab it! The BLT was on a ciabatta roll with crisp romaine lettuce, fresh sliced tomatoes, and perfectly cooked bacon with a light layer of mayo. This was just what I was craving, We all enjoyed our meals and wine while at Hanny's. If looking for a date spot, night out on the town give Hanny's a try and don't forget to say hi to the Dolls.

We had major flight delays and arrived to our hotel late, we were hungry and the front desk person recommended Hanny's.We didn't know what to expect but decided to walk a few blocks over.The vibe was amazing! I wish we were a little more dressed up but no one seemed to mind. This place has a very unique downstairs area that you have to see for yourself. We enjoyed our view of the dj from our seats. The service was excellent and the food was even better! I had the portobello sandwich and a Bellini. The drink was refreshing and the sandwich was tasty! The perfect balance of seasonings & fresh bread. The fries were perfect too! If you're in the area, stop by this fun spot!It's perfect for a date night or girls night out.
