Al R. "Took a chance on these guys cuz they were close to the hotel, and I was not disappointed!! Cheap, quick, and tasty....that's pretty much it. I ordered pasta and wings the first time and didn't get to take a picture, but they were great! This time I ordered the 12" pie and the cheesy garlic knots.I went through UberEats but still and it took all but 15 minutes, the order was complete within 10 minutes so if you're doing carry-out or dine-in, I'm sure you will get your food just as fast. Good quality, fast service, great prices! I will continue to support these guys when I work in PHX. Def recommend!"

I ordered the gyro platter and there's enough food for two people or two meals! It came with rice, potatoes, pita bread, and a salad. The meat was wonderful and so were the potatoes. Just the perfect amount of seasoning. The prices are incredibly reasonable. So glad to be back and enthusiastically will return next for the moussaka."

Joe S. "The name of this place reminds me of the character Nick from the movie Bachelor Party, but the food here bears no resemblance. I was staying at a hotel close-by and this was a quick, convenient lunch option. The lady who took my order was helpful and patient while I decided what I wanted. I was a bit hungry so she thought the platter was the better option. She also didn't make fun of me when I pronounced it Gyro and she said Gyro. The Gyro (or Gyro) platter was pretty big. There was a lot of meat which had some crispy edges and was delicious. There was plenty of rice (I chose that over fries). The lettuce, tomatoes and red onions were all fresh and delicious too. The small salad even had 2 Greek olives. It could have come with more Tzatziki, but they always could use more so I ordered an extra one. It think it was only 0.50 too which is a plus. I should have asked for extra olives too, but didn't know they had any!It was a lot of food and I didn't finish it all, even though I was super hungry when I got there. Soda pop refills were free which was good on a hot afternoon (108 or so). I'd go here again if I wanted a gyro, but there are a lot of other choices around too."

Janelle F. "While out and about on Saturday afternoon we decided to stop by west gate for some drinks and possible food. Our first stop was a dud and the music so loud our ears needed time to calm. We saw Opa Life and no wait so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated right away. The noise level was great and a few TV's at the bar were playing sports. The menu is small, but had some great options. We weren't too hungry as we'd ate earlier in the day so we decided to share the chicken souvlaki skewer which comes with two sides. We chose the Greek salad and rice. We ordered some beer and water. Beer was cold and water refreshing. Our food came out quick and was plated phenomenally. From the first bite to the last it was all delicious. I'm so surprised at the lack of customers. It's bright and clean inside, service was good and we had no issues. The other patrons inside seemed happy as well. This was our first time here and of course I've not tried other menu items, but I felt portions were huge and enjoyed it. The servers I will say looked bored, one sitting chatting with someone not sure if customers or owner, others just grouped near the front. Hopefully it's not this slow everyday."

There are other items on the menu I'd like to try but for the first time here I went with the classic gyro, which had plenty of great tasting meat. It also came with a very tasty salad. Since it was dark outside and I wasn't driving, I'm not sure what the outside looked like nor where we were, but the inside was warm and inviting. Alas, they only had hummus. I was about to leave but their friendly staff convinced me to change my mind so I decided on the hummus bowl. It starts with a hefty serving of hummus (they have several varieties but I chose the regular) then I got to pick "additions". I selected finely chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and onions. An ample portion of grilled beef and lamb was added and then I had them drizzle what appeared to be a creamy garlic sauce over the top. The pita included was still warm and soft when I arrived home. My bowl was delicious--tangy and fresh tasting. I'm glad I decided to try it (but I still love Baba Ghanoush (hint, hint...)"

Omari D. "I've biked through here several times and stopped for lunch and this by far is one of my favorite little spots over here on the ASU campus. I'd recommend the only time to drive is on the weekend as getting here and parking is a challenge... and I don't pay for parking. The staff has always been super friendly and I like that I get to customize my meal based on my mood at the time with ease. So I kept it simple for myself and went with a Greek salad and included a double side of meat on it of lamb and beef. I also decided to do the upgrade for the combo which I thought was a bit expensive but it included a beverage as well as another side salad for me. They gave me a 2nd bowl & surprised me by making it custom and combining it all so I had the "best of both worlds". Man let me tell ya, probably one of the best Gyro salads I've had in quite a long time. In addition to the Gyro salad we also we also grabbed 2 Street Cart wraps loaded as combos with fries. If you're driving by car, you are going to have to park on the backside and enter off rural off the side like you're going to the pickleball tennis courts & wrap around. Will definitely return back again as the healthy option is great."

George M. "Athens on Easy Street's name reminded me of Olympic era-Athens pre financial crisis. Having eaten my fill of tacos, In-N-Out, and more tacos, I craved food from the motherland. And when I asked my cuz we're to go, she highly recommended Athens (despite that she's half-Greek and 100% Amerikanaki). The exterior has a Greek-island feel with a dash of good 'ole Southwest. We entered into an nearly empty restaurant, we're immediately greeted and we were asked if we had rezzies? The smirk on my face may have revealed the "are you kidding?" thought reverberating in my nogin'. Foreshadow alert: I felt really stupid a short while later because the place got packed fast. We arrived in time for the robust happy hour menu, and we ordered nearly everything from it. We were strongly advised to order the saganaki (baked, fried and flambéed Greek cheese) and we did. The flambéed table-side show was an unexpected treat. So here's the verdict: everything that came out was Greek inspired and tailored to the American pallets rather than what you would find in a Greek village--which can be daunting to the average mortal. All was executed oh so well and the menu was a curated representation of many areas of Greece. As we were leaving, we met apron clad Auggie who is the proprietor's son hailing from the seaside, Northern Greek city of Kavala. Greek hospitality was on full display by Auggie's staff and the price-to-quality-to-experience ratio was spot on. Make sure to make rezzies because this place is a Greek oasis in the middle of the dessert and everyone knows it."

"Friendly staff, flavorful tender shwarma, just the right amount of garlic in the garlic sauce, in a cute lil place. The staff were very friendly as we were there, making sure we got exactly what we wanted with professional gratitude for our business. Also checked on us to make sure everything was good.Chicken Shwarma, tender pieces of chicken with some nice spices, not too strong but full of flavor. The garlic sauce is ... pink, not sure why, but it's different. I actually originally thought I got the wrong sauce but it's the right one! There is a good amount of garlic flavor, not too strong, and you can always dole on more sauce to get more garlic taste. The meat is good without the sauce and the sauce enhances the taste. Pita is nice and fluffy. There is some onions, pickles, and tomatoes with it. I am not a huge pickle and tomato fan but it actually all mixed together so well with the meat and sauce! It was so good, I ate through it and wanted more cuz it was so good. I started to try a different dish but was talked right back into my standard chicken shawarma pita order and a gyro pita to be different. I added baklava to the mix and was told it would be 5 minutes. In the meantime I had a cold glass of sparkling water while I waited. As always, they brought my take out to the area I was seated. Staff showed me how to identify the gyro from the shawarma. Very clever (see pix) as they wrote gyro on the styrofoam box with dotted lines below the word. Staff explained that was where I could find the gyro without having to unwrap it. If you look at the pix of the meals you'll see how chocked full of protein both are. They are very generous with their succulent meats. True to form, the pitas are absolutely delicious with moist tasty meats. We love these pitas and keep coming back.
