Giving Tree Dispensary

I'm pretty sure this is my first time leaving a review on yelp but I couldn't NOT! Don't let these few bad reviews sway you!! This is my favorite dispensary in all of Phoenix!! They have great deals every day of the week and the staff always welcome me in with warm greetings. I have never had a bad experience here. I drive past Curaleaf to come here instead because the customer service at Giving Tree is TOP NOTCH! I came in on their 11th anniversary and was greeted with nothing but goodies including BOGO free sales, Ice Cream!, a free lighter and a claw machine where I won a free cart!! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they offer a nice discount for veterans. Been here a few times and I had a good experience every time.

This best place ever! Jimmy is amazing I always love seeing him when I come in! Get the blood orange flavor of sparkling water from Keef!

Not a good place anymore as they do bait and switch advertising and have poor customer service now, especially from the management, about the same as the MINT now

Wow!! Was throughly impressed with the staff and selection at Giving Tree! Was recommended due to their selection of low THC/CBD blends that my husband was looking for- to help anxiety and issues with sleep. Yaakov was my bud tender, he was super knowledgeable and helpful. Very friendly and eager to help me find what my husband needed. I even found a couple edible goodies for me!

Top notch customer service, consistent product and deals plus what a cute shop AND we get to support local small business here :)

I literally hate this place. I live behind it and this will be my last visit. They offer terrible promotions, rude and uneducated staff and a dysfunctional website. Today is 1/3 and the online specials show as attached for 12/5 for guests who shop online. Granola Funk is the only flower discount ever, so lame. PSA: Not everybody likes edibles. I bet I can't get the holiday bundle still. Ever since the lady with the fun nails left the atmosphere is like a sad coffee shop in Seattle. Disappointing. Thank goodness for the guy with the bleached tip hair, he seems nice and tried to help me.

Absolute garbage. Do NOT go here is you smoke concentrates. I purchased eight grams of live resin batter from this store and realized after trying one out that they were all manufactured over a year ago. Concentrates have a shelf life and begin breaking down after they are made, and by six months you can begin to notice the difference in diminishing taste and effect. I can tell you now from experience that at the one-year-old mark, there are no terpenes, you need a small chisel to break pieces off of the batter, and the effects you should be getting are minimal.I brought to the product to the store and was informed that it was my "preference" not to use the product, that I could give the product to my friends or throw it away, and that I could have 50% off any purchase I made in the store. In other words, (a) it's my bad I didn't check the date on the concentrates before I bought them, (b) I have to eat the $170 and am stuck smoking tasteless wax, which I explained I won't do, however, (c) I am more than welcome to spend more money during my visit. I honestly don't think I would have gone through the trouble of writing this if I was given a reasonable reason why they couldn't substitute the product for me. Telling me its my preference not use what is essentially an expired product tells me whoever is running this store has zero idea how concentrates work, or they just don't care about ripping people off. Anyone out there who wants 8 grams of moldy tasting concentrates just let me know, I got your product and am happy to dispose of it to you.

I stopped going to this dispensary months ago but thought i'd be worth it to leave a review.The staff here is very rude and will accuse you of lying. A few years ago, an employee accused me of trying to get another free item when in reality they never gave it to me. Since then, i felt hostility and bad vibes from this company. Take your business elsewhere! You can find so many other dispensaries where the staff will respect you and honestly, better deals elsewhere.
