Ghett Yo Taco’s & Wing’s

It's National Wing Day, so I decided to embark on a noble quest for wings. I wanted to try a new place, and lo and behold, there was one just down the road from me in downtown Chandler. Why not? Well, I'm glad I did. I've found my new wing haven. Delicious! I ordered enough food to ensure I had wings for lunch tomorrow - a little foresight never hurt anyone.I went for the 20-piece wings, choosing Hot, Chipotle BBQ, and Mango Habanero sauces. All three were excellent! I'd rate them upper-mild to medium on the flavor/heat scale. I'm not one of those folks who needs to scorch their taste buds with molten lava to feel manly - been there, done that. I prefer a touch of heat and, more importantly, great flavor. These wings hit the mark perfectly. They were also generously sized, unlike the puny wings you sometimes get elsewhere.I also tried the Shrimp Basket. Thankfully, it came with fries that I consider to be pretty darn good. If you like Five Guys fries, you'll be happy with these - they're almost identical. The shrimp were medium-sized and lightly battered. They tasted fantastic, cooked to perfection, and the batter wasn't overwhelming. I usually like to squeeze lemon over my shrimp and then dip them in cocktail sauce. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the lemon and cocktail sauce, so I had to eat the shrimp plain. Not a tragedy, just not my usual shrimp-eating routine.I will definitely be getting wings here again! I also want to explore their tacos and other menu items.

We wanted to get some tacos and one of my friends suggested this place. Located in the inside streets of downtown chandler, this place is big. Also, they are open late night if you want to grab some food after partying. It was a Sunday night and the place was empty, may be coz it was a Sunday.We sat at the bar and I ordered a OG margarita along with shrimp and a fish taco. They have a fresh salsa bar too. The service was quick, the margarita was decent. The tacos were just alright and lacked the authentic flavors. Somehow it didn't meet the expectation. The place has a very hippy vibe. The prices are a little expensive, one taco was about $6-7 depending on the meat. Overall, it is an okay place.

The food is good, but it is not the best for its price. There are better options in this area.Store is decorated very nicely. It's a fun spot to hang out and eat at. The workers are really kind!Overall, a really nice place but too expensive for me.

We love this easy & fun menu filled with favorites and unique items, too. The salsa bar is supreme (try the medium red and the pickled onions!) and the margaritas are frosty frozen goodness

The food is delicious!!!!! The salmon taco has quite a bit of heat to it. Ordered the wings extra crispy based on server suggestion and couldn't have been more right! Even the chicken in the kids quesadilla was juicy.

Great tacos! The birria is where it's at! It is so juicy and well-seasoned, and is filled with toppings. The Cuban Crisis was also delicious. I had bites of my husband's Captain Jack, Middle East, and Rosta Man, and they were all so different from one another and so tasty. I really appreciate the unique, creative flavor profiles of each because so often, tacos can all blend into one and you can't tell them a part, but looking back, I can distinctly remember the taste of each. We also got the fajitas for our baby and those were great (we ended up eating them, of course), and the elote bites are a fun little snack.The place is pretty casual, colorful, and young. The dude running the place is awesome and was so welcoming. He kept making faces at my baby, which is always appreciated. Overall, it did not disappoint and it was well worth the long drive! Go with a big appetite and try all of the things!

Ghett Yo Taco just celebrated their five year anniversary on Saturday! We couldn't pass on the chance to celebrate with them. They had a dj that was blasting an excellent 2000s-2010s playlist. We sat outside since it was so nice out. We started out with chips and queso. The queso was honestly disappointing. It had the texture like it's been cooled and reheated multiple times and didn't have much flavor. The chips are delicious though! We asked for a refill but our server never brought them. I had the spicy mrs porky and carnitas tacos - both were delicious, as I love Ghett Yo's carnitas, but the spicy one was lacking spice!!! I was a little disappointed. My husband had two carne asada tacos, and he was honestly a little disappointed in them as well. The meat smelled and tasted funky, so he just finished one of my tacos. This visit missed the mark for both of us. We were really psyched to experience the same Ghett Yo we had been to before. I'm hoping this was a fluke since they were having the event. They've added a lot of interesting and eclectic-sounding tacos to their menu, so it may be worth returning to try those!

Not much to look at from the outside but the food is amazing and the staff are the friendliest people. It's a little on the pricier side but we'll worth it.

Food was flavorless and cooked on the outside raw in the middle. Had the lunch special - white meat chicken pieces fried as wings. Churro's had raw batter in the middle. Salsa bar had no containers to put the salsa in. Our waiter was more interested in his phone than us. Husband had carnitas tacos which had no flavor. This place needs some help.

great place and good food!! the staff was so good for a long time now turn over like crazy!! But, when they tell you on a Saturday night we do not have flower!! from the GM!! he is really a nice guy don't get it!! makes you think twice!! yes, for my wings!! then go in Sunday night and told by the cook we have no wings!! I asked back you have no wings? no wings!! maybe the owner needs to look into this!!
