"I can't express enough how wonderful this place really is. On this day, I tried the beef sliders. The sliders were close to the best for me in city. Here's why: ratio to meat, bun, and flavor. Nailed it! Of course, I built my own. Bleu cheese crumbles, chipotle mayo, and lettuce. I also got roasted jalapenos!Nothing was skipped on. I could taste and see everything I added to my sliders. We stopped in initially to grab drinks at the bar but ended up ordering some food because everyone's food who came out around us looked amazing! I don't regret our choice at all and wish we were more hungry to try some of the other things on the menu. Service was great. The bar is really cute and reminded me very much of the bars I visited while I was in Ireland. It is a little bit hot/muggy inside. It would be much more enjoyable if it was cooler indoors."

This spot is my go-to for my cheat meal (1 ea) for the week and I take my buddies coming into town for a quick FRIED everything meal . The folks working there are always very nice too. Great place!!!

The drive thru always has a line. Finally decided to stop by. Now I understand why locals love Pete's. The food is priced very well. It's not expensive at all. The quality of the food is nothing special. You're basic deep fried everything. Fired fish sticks, fried shrimp, fried fish and French fríes. I was curious about the crablets? They were ok. The sauce is a spicy ketchup horse radish type. I think the French fries were the best. We took the food to go and didn't want to take pictures. The bottom line is the prices are cheap, the fried food will fill up your tummy and the locals who grew up with it will always stay loyal. This is not for us and we won't be back. But I understand why locals love it. Try it see what you think. CASH ONLY ATM INSIDE

We have ordered from here before and decided to give Blu Burger Grille another chance. We had never eaten inside before. The interior is nice and clean and the service was pretty friendly. We had an older woman whose name I forgot. We started with Chicken Wings and the Calamari. The Wings were really crunchy and hot but I wouldn't get the Calamari again-- it was pretty chewy and tasted either old or frozen. We ended up not eating it. I wouldn't ever get that dish from here again. For entrees we got some burgers. I got a BYO grass-fed burger on a pretzel bun, which was pretty tasty. The fries on the side were crispy and the aioli was the perfect addition. My parents enjoyed their burgers and my Dad loved the coleslaw. We ended with 2 gelato scoops, which were creamy and definitely house-made. Not a bad place overall-- I'd consider coming back.

I really wanted to like this place, but I didn't. The fish is in squares like fish sticks! The service was ok, and I enjoyed sitting outside in Mesa watching the Tweakers. The other issue is that they only take cash. I didn't hate it, but I won't be back.

Love. Came here for some good catfish as there's not many places in the Valley that does a good job! It is well-seasoned and came out piping hot! Very clean inside and hospitable staff! Almost forgot to take a picture since I dug right in to the catfish and fries! Please be patient as it gets really busy! I will definitely be back!

We were looking for a happy hour that we have not been to yet and landed upon Longshots Bar and Grill. Upon arriving we could hear it was very loud (its a sports bar with like clientele so expected!) We chose a spot at the bar and we were helped by Laura. She was very kind, helpful and had great suggestions for our dinner choice. Food was good (better than bar food, not as good as fine dining) and it was priced perfectly. We had the house wine on happy hour and again it was priced accordingly and was perfect for what we expected and received.Laura was a very nice, but just slightly abrupt. As our evening went on you could see why the abruptness, she is a workhorse!!! Always busy and working her butt off while still trying to give that personable touch. Her dedication to her place showed! I loved watching the races on the TV's. We had a great time and felt very welcome in a new place. LOVED the relaxed vibe it gave off..... not always easy to find that in Scottsdale.

Secret Sauce makes the flavor and I get extra. This is a place you need to set your expectations as you get what you pay for here. Service has always been just fine considering you are at a window. "Have been coming here ever since I can remember it is pretty good I will say I love the red sauce. It can be a bit bland to those used to seasoning but some sauce definitely helps. The chicken plate and burritos are delicious. The service is amazing, workers are nice and often check in on you. They know my family well and chat with us when we visit. I will say for a while the food was different and went through a rough patch but recently it is back to what I am used to. A small little place that you can tell has been around for a while and family owned, usually nice and quiet."
"We went to the all you can eat fish fry on Friday, August 19. They serve this special on Wednesdays and Fridays. You can order the cod either fried or baked. I ordered 1/2 baked and 1/2 fried. The fried cod is definitely better. Our waitress Ashley was very attentive and checked on us often. It is the fish that is unlimited for the price. So the sides of French fries and coleslaw are served once. Ashley came back to check on us if we needed more fried fish several times. At the present time the price is $15.99 per person. Hubby had draft beer at $3.00 and I had wine at $3.50 a generous glass. Fries are ok, coleslaw is better than the fries, and the best part is the fried cod. So go early, as they fill out fast, sit outside for the great view, enjoy the fried fish and reasonably priced drinks."
"I had been looking forward to trying Angie's ever since I heard they were opening a couple of locations near me in Tucson (I'm a Salad and Go fan, so I had high hopes). Since we are still waiting on their construction, I was thrilled to see we were near an Angie's Prime and Lobster combo on a recent trip to the Valley. My husband and I got a few things to share to get a feel for the options. He's a New Englander, so we were excited (and a little apprehensive) to try the lobster. We went for the hot buttered roll meal, and it came with a packet of melted butter, fries, a packet of fry sauce and a drink. The lobster roll was delicious, and for $13.99 for the meal, it's a steal compared to how much they usually go for. Sure, it's not as meaty or fresh as it would be in New England, but it was such a pleasant surprise to get a lobster roll this yummy for that price in Phoenix. The fries were solid, and the berries and cream energy drink was so tasty (it reminded me of a raspberry Italian cream soda). We also ordered a steak Mexican bowl and a shrimp Greek bowl. Both were tasty, fresh and filling, but my favorite was the steak. It was cooked well, and the cilantro dressing it comes with added the perfect brightness to the bowl. The drive-through was a little slow--we were probably 8 cars deep when we arrived, and it took about 25 minutes to get through the line, but I'd say it was worth it. Can't wait to get Angie's in Tucson!"

We ordered the calamari, fish and a and a poke bowl salad.The calamari are heavily breaded and while crunchy the strips of calamari steak were still tender.The fish and chips are some of the best we've had, moist fish, flavorful batter and well cooked thin French fries.The poke bowl was the bomb however. Very fresh tuna with a nice kick of spice in my spicy version, plenty of pickled ginger, edamame, red onions, A few slices of avocado, fresh cucumbers, radishes, and chunks of mango. It was very flavorful and quite a large portion.Our friends ordered the fish plates and one suggestion would that be they get slightly larger plates as their food was falling off of them and hard to manage!"
