Estilo Azteca is a small Mexican place in the complex where the old Sprouts was. It's been here for a little over a year and I never notice it. It's a small place and it can get very busy on the weekends. I have such mixed feelings about this place. I've been here twice now and this is my experience. The coffee was different, it has a cinnamon taste. Is that a Mexican thing? I don't know, but I enjoyed it.I had the Mexican Baked Eggs which were very good. It was very tasty but I think I would've enjoyed it a little more if there were home fries or some other potato thing in there. On my second visit, I had the biscuits and chorizo gravy. For some reason, they didn't have any coffee and it was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. They have a fun menu with some creative dishes and I enjoy that. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I were visiting family in AZ and we wanted to try a new restaurant. I found this restaurant on instagram. And it was a hit with my family.Everyone tried a little bit of everything.-chicken enchilada verde-chicken mole enchiladas -Birria ramen-shrimp taco -carne asada huaraches -birria tacos (forgot to take a picture)- breakfast burritoI tried a little bit of everything and I have to say, I really enjoyed the chicken mole enchiladas. It was sweet with a little kick to them. I would definitely order them next time I come back. The shrimp taco was really good. Nice and fresh.I would have loved to have a drink but they are in the process of getting their liquor license. So hopefully that comes in quickly You have to wait a little bit for the food. But it's worth it. The food is nice and fresh.I would totally come back to this restaurant.

This was my second time coming to this place. The first time I went it was when they first opened and I gotta say the first time I loved it! It was delicious, took a bit to get out food but man it was good. Today we went and mind you we were a group of 7 including 3 kids. Wait time was given was 50 mins we actually waited 1 hour. We sat down and no waitress was around to take at least our drinks. That took about another 10-15 mins and waitress started by saying they had already sold out on many of their "go to dishes" like the conchas. That's was a big bummer since kids were looking forward to that. We ordered and 30 mins later no food. A table across us got up and left and heard them saying they had already waited almost an hour for their food. I happened to be seated where I could clearly see the cooks. Man they are slowwww! Our food took a lit 45 mins. Now here's the thing if I waited almost 2 hours I expected food to be delicious. I ordered the birria Mac and cheese. It was so gross. Shells were over cooked and the cheese was cheap cheese. Like an off brand Valveeta. My daughter ordered green enchiladas and the lady brought her red enchiladas. Without even asking. She said they ran out of green so just assumed that would be ok. My other daughter ordered red chilaquiles, maybe this was our bad but their red chilaquiles are red tomato sauce not red chili. We got some flautas and the meat was just tasteless just like the birria from the Mac and cheese and the Quesabirrias. The only eking that was actually ok was my husbands steak. Well cooked and good flavor. But even his potatoes were nasty. No salt at all. So disappointed. $180 thrown away.

I must say this place is not that bad! Food is pretty tasty and flavorful. I ordered the pambaso which is basically a torta with chorizo and potatoes with their special sauce pretty delicious. Wifey got red chilaquiles with scrambled egg and chicken. We are both from Cali and have high expectations for Mexican food and this place nailed it. They even have Mexican music in the background for the mood. Service was always nice and on point so I must say we will definitely be coming back in the future

First time here, to be honest I was expecting something much better, I had the breakfast tacos that were ok, they need it more flavor, I also had the cucumber and lemon water that had no flavor at all and it was too small for the price! The place need more attention it was kind of dirty plus no AC!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for months. I finally made it and it was closed. I was so bummed. The hours are a little tricky unless you come on the weekend because it's not open for dinner during the week. So the weekend it is! I brought some friends and we had at it. We ordered the concha French toast, birria ramen with bao buns, birria tacos, birria mac and cheese and chilaquiles. We shared everything so I could get the true foodie experience. Everything was delicious. The concha French toast is so good. I suggest you get the sauce on the side so you can put it on yourself. This will prevent it from getting soggy. The bao buns that came with the ramen were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and filled with birria meat. Perfect addition to the ramen. I washed it all down with a pineapple Agua Fresca. I was surprised by some of the reviews and am glad I ignored them. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and we got drinks and food in a timely manner. I will be back and am excited about the new second location coming soon.

2nd time attending. I went on a Saturday around 1:30pm. They were still pretty busy since it was towards the end of their lunch rush. With a family of 3 adults and 1 toddler, we waited around 15 minutes to be seated (understandable since it was the end of the rush hr).Personally I ordered the Steak and Eggs. OMG I loved the steak so much! It was very delicious. I also liked the garlicky bread that came with it. The potatoes were great especially my nephew enjoyed it. Dad really liked the pambazo, thats the reason he made us drive an hr and half away from our house lol. My sister got the quesibbiria tacos, they were so big and she really liked them.We also ordered the concha French Toast which I do not have a picture of because it was not good this time around. Unfortunately they did not cook it well enough as it was still super soggy like when u dip it in the egg. This caused it ro taste too eggy. This one is hard for me to recommend as the 1st time we went it was sooo good n cooked to perfection n this second time not at all good.If you have a toddler i recommend you maybe get the stek and egg my nephew ate my egg and potatoes. While i really enjoyed the steak lolNow for us, family that does not drink sweet/sugury stuff n we also dont add too much salt. The pambazo was a little salty. The Horchata was overly sweet. My sister really loved the Jamaica but dad and i thought it was also super sweet. Also they gave us a small cup. Then towards the end the guy said we could get refills . I wish he would have told us sooner. So the 1st time we went it was a smaller venue. Now its bigger. I do feel the food is still delicious. Their plates have a great presentation. I will say that unfortunately we only had our waitress come to us 3 times, to take our order, to give us our food, to give us the check. They never came to actually check if we needed more drinks (which we did). Although the food is delicious, if you go, make sure you go with time! Like it takes a while to be seated, get your food and from how busy it is the waitress hardly has time for you. Dont get me wrong they are super nice you just cannot go in being a Karen and expecting everything now. You have to go and be super patient. The ambiance is pretty noisy since its super busy. You still will have a great time and enjoy your food but like i said be super patient. Honestly we were starving since it took an hour and a half for us to arrive to this location.** My recommendations to the restaurant : I do feel like 1 person needs to stay up front as a host. This will make people feel more welcomed and the customers as well as the host not overwhelmed. When I went in, the guy was checking people out and sweating and seems so stressed. Just like in any restaurant, the waitress should be the one checking people out. Also at least 1 more waitresses needs to be hired. I notice many comment saying you guys are super nice, which you are, but there is no customer service from the waitresses. Such as do you need anything else? do you need a refill? Its the small things that count. Its not about making a client #1, its about making a client feel like they are all a priority. For example my concha French Toast was not done, I couldn't even say anything because no one ever came to check in on us. My whole family needed a drink refill, we never got one. So for sure at least one more person to help out is needed:

We got chips and salsa. You need to pay for them. The chips tasted like pita chips. The salsa was a bit spicy. Could be more flavorful. We got the pineapple and the cucumber drinks. We got 2 orders of birria tacos. We also got the birria ramen and it wasn't the best. The birria tacos are huge and wish they double shelled it cause it was breaking from the bottom.
