Don Chuy's Mexican Grill

Do not purchase from this vendor! DO NOT SUPPORT this business. They have poor quality of service and they hired a local business to clean their place and they didn't pay the cleaning company. They are refusing to pay when the service was done. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! There is proof that the place was cleaned!!! Place is not that great... don't ask for extra chips and salsa because you will be charged for it $3.99...They got my order wrong but I didn't complain.Food was eatable but didn't warrant the the price I paid...Don't blame me I told you so!

Quiet little hole in the wall with a nice calm atmosphere. No loud music blaring and no TVs over volume, so you can actually have a conversation without yelling across the table.I got 2 chico barbacoa tacos and my daughter got 2 chico carne asada tacos. My food was very flavorful and the size was great for the price. I got a Jamaica which was not too sweet and not to too sour. The total came out to around $10.Our waitress was sweet and very attentive without being annoying. I am learning Spanish so tried talking with her en Español and she was helpful and said she is learning English, so we tried to communicate in each other's languages which was funny and interesting.I want to go back to try their breakfast burritos.

The tacos were pretty good and were somehow at a fair price too. The horchata agua was also pretty refreshing and one of the best parts of my dinner. Would definitely recommend!

I was really excited to try their food. Paid almost $20 for two "carne asada" tacos and a very spicy.. too spicy chicken enchilada. Carne asada was Not flavorful and had tendons in the meat. Pulled it out of my mouth cause it was hard and couldn't figure out what it was. Looked for more found some. The avocado was good... chicken enchilada had green sauce on it. The inside was dry. I'm a gringa but definitely have made better. I love spicy foods but this was too hot I couldn't enjoy it. No cheese in the enchilada that I saw or could taste. There was some on the runny refríed beans. Very disappointed. I should of just went to Taco Bell (which isn't the real deal) it would of tasted better and cost less. And who knows what they do to their food there.. but dang I'd take it.

I usually don't write negative reviews especially on small businesses but this place was at the least unenjoyable. When we first got in there, there was nobody there which we liked and although the menu was large our first problem was the prices. For a cheese and chicken quesadilla it was $17, that doesn't include a side or a drink either, tacos were about $3 each which seemed reasonable however everything else was extremely high priced. Our waitress was not attentive at all and after giving us our food she was never to be seen again, no refills, no asking us how it tasted, very poor service. However, we were willing to look past all of these problems if the food was good, but unfortunately all of the food was bland and small portions and for the price you have to pay. We ended up spending $50 for 2 tacos with rice, a chicken quesadilla and a burrito. I would much rather go to the Filibertos down the street for half the price and better quality.

The last two times I've been here I have always had the best customer service. The lady ( I didn't get her name but she's usually in the front greeting and seating people) is radiantly friendly, although she doesn't know English completely, she does her best on making sure I get my order correctly. She's super sweet, one of the best customer service people that I have experienced. Their food is really GOOD as well!!! Plus you get free chips and salsa. The first time I came I got the albondigas soup, it had a lot of flavor and was a good portion size. The second time I got their tacos, I think I got shredded beef or barbacoa, the meat was moist, tender & flavorful. The tortillas didn't go soggy like most places. I usually would have more to say but it's been over a month since the last time I came & I kept forgetting to write this review that they deserve. Definitely check this place out!

I, like many, have a love for tacos. Don Chuy's, by far, has the best this side of the border...maybe both sides. Flavor on top of flavor. My daughter is a vegetarian and they make her a special burrito, she loves it. I've gone at least once a week, since I discovered it. Everyone is amazing, Senor Don Chuy is often there and a lovely server, whose name I always fail to get, is usually there. She doesn't speak much English and I, unfortunately, don't speak much Spanish but we make it work and it's worth it to do so. Oh! The guacamole sauce...I can't even describe it, I'm addicted and I always get extra to eat with fries at home!!!Best best and best. I just left and I'm thinking about going back!!

The food was stupid expensive and sad. I didn't eat my food it was so bad. We all left hungry. The server disappeared and never returned because the tip is already included if you go with more than 5 people. It was a sorry excuse for Mexican food. No wonder it was empty the entire time we were there. The music was too loud as well.

We came to have brunch at a Mexican restaurant. To start, the chips were stale. The server said all the chips are stale because they leave them out. The salsa was only jalapeños and habeneros was way too hot. The food had no flavor. Extremely small portions for the cost. Coffee was old and cold. I eat almost anything, and this food was not edible.The service and ambiance ok.
