"Been wanting to try this place for some time. Running pre Xmas errands in the area, so stopped by for late breakfast.Wife ordered a senior special, eggs, sausage, and 1/2 a waffle. Waffle crispy, eggs perfect, and delicious fat sausages.I had the chicken fried steak. Came with eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. Eggs were a little overdone. CFS was good, hash browns needed help. Unevenly cooked, not crispy. Nothing terrible but I've had better.Prices are reasonable, service was fine. Place seemed clean and pleasant."
"I ordered the fish tacos and liked them alot. They were grilled so no breading which I prefer. The salsa bar was great and the chips were fresh. I got the mild salsa and it was very flavorful. Staff was helpful in helping me choose my order. I'd highly recommend."

Well a friend of mine who also writes reviewsSuggested this place. Which is not related to the California Country boysRestaurant. First of all this place is veryBusy. You seat yourself. The ladies on The floor Rachael and Cassie are very friendly and courteous. The food is definitely on point. The prices are great. They also give you alot of food.So if you want a no frills decent cleanPlace to eat and meet some friendlyPeople. This be the place. It is very close to I-17. So if you go don't missIt. See you all there!"
"After a concert, a new friend we met suggested we go here after the shower to eat. Tammy greeted us when we walked in and provided exceptional service. She made a great show turn into a great evening. We all enjoyed our food, and the diner atmosphere."
"Always drove by it on the way to my job and wondered how it was. I stopped in today. Homestyle neighborhood hang out. I was surprised how lovely my visit was. Nothing fancy as far as aesthetics go. The server was a sheer delight. Upped to 4 stars for her .Excellent at her job and so personable. Maybe her name was Alicia? It was cold today and for some odd reason I wanted soup. I never want soup. I got soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. It was pretty good for what it was and very well priced. Older folks hang out. I would go back. Cheap compared to today's prices to eat out."
"Plenty of parking at Perk Eatery as it is located in a strip mall by Safeway. Casual breakfast/lunch spot that gets busy on the weekends. Service is attentive. The menu is what you would expect with breakfast, salads and sandwiches. The last time I was here, which was about 2 years ago, the special was pecan pumpkin pancakes and that is what it was today too! We both ordered the tuna melt with a side of fruit. This is a sandwich not an open faced melt. It had a particularly good taste that I thought was the bread but my dinner mate thought was an ingredient in the tuna, either way it tasted great! Prices are a little higher than other breakfast places in the area. Two tuna melts and a latte came to $37! They do add on a credit card surcharge, but I used cash so this did not apply to me today. I think they could include a little more for the price but overall it is a solid breakfast spot."
"The perfect brunch spot for people who love rock & roll classics, breakfast and lunch options for all, & lots of Beatles/Rock memorabilia! It is always pristine inside, filled with free delicious smells from the kitchen, & the staff are incredibly friendly to chat with. A one of a kinda spot that gave me so much joy to be able to eat in a fun diner again"
"This spot has been here FOREVER. It's your typical hole in the wall diner with super friendly service. I will say the servers here were the friendliest ever and treated everyone like family that walked through the door. The inside is very dated and so are the booths. I am pretty sure I had a spring digging into me the whole time lol I will say the place was clean and the food was edible. There wasn't much seasoning on the potatoes, the pancakes were decent and fluffy and most importantly they made my over easy eggs correctly. I find a lot of places mess up an over easy egg. Overall, don't expect fine dining but expect to leave with a full belly and not a hole in your pocket. Service was friendly and the food arrived super quick!"
"I thought the food was great but the manager was not pleased with how my order came out (per my request). Clearly he had higher standards and I greatly appreciate that. The service was top notch. The manager took great care of me and, no doubt, if I'm ever passing through Phoenix (Sky Harbor) I will be paying a visit to Cowboy Ciao. Thank you!!"
"In contrast with my previous visit my lunch there today was spectacular not only in the food, but by the warm and friendly cashier. I don't know what her name was, but she was delightful and super welcoming. In fact, my cheeseburger was so darn good that I ordered a second one . The owner was kind enough to respond to my previous review in a very courteous message, and she was certainly able to remedy the issue that I had the prior time. Their patio is dog friendly."
"It had been a few years since I had been here. Not because the food and service isn't great, we just don't live in the area. Was craving pork roll (it's a Jersey thing), my husband had the day off for our anniversary and were going to be close by for another errand so 40th St. was the perfect spot. Ordered my regular breakfast sandwich subbing the pork roll for standard breakfast meat. ($3.99 upcharge but well worth it). Husband ordered the Polish sausage breakfast. Place is full of regulars the wait staff know on a first name basis. Food comes out quickly and hot. Mine was perfect. Husband's would have been but he ordered hashbrowns but received home fries. Home fries cooked great but he hates potato skin. His scrambled eggs cooked nicely and polish sausage split and caramelized on the flat top. My sandwich was as it always is. Bread and pork roll griddled perfectly. Egg over medium, cheese melty. This sandwich is a taste of home for me. Two eggs instead of one would have made my year. This little spot serves great breakfast at a decent price. Personable customer service in a clean atmosphere. Thank you 40th St. Cafe for making my anniversary breakfast a wonderful experience."
"Good fast and correctly made to order. Nice lady server and owner was cool too. Will be back if I come out this way"

This is our second visit to Wild Berry Diner. This time we invited a couple with whom we're good friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts as did we. Met Christina the owner This morning as she greeted and seated us in Christina's (our favorite server) area. Today, I tried the Turkey Club w/ fries and was not disappointed! Outstanding meal! Many thanks to our new friends at Wild Berry Diner for another great experience!

I feel like the food was pricey for the amount that you get and that I could've gotten the same thing for half the price at a hole-in-the-wall place a few miles away. I ordered on the phone and picked up 15 minutes later. Got the spinach dip appetizer, which was soggy but fine. Steak fajitas had about a dozen slivers of steak in it but they really had no flavor. Green chili pork burrito was the best of the three. It actually has a good amount of meat and flavor. I'd recommend steering clear of the fajitas and just going for a burrito. Overall, the food is standard Mexican food, nothing noteworthy about it, but it could hit the spot if it's what you're craving.

I came to Phoenix Arizona to visit some family and friends and we were craving breakfast but it was 2 PM in the afternoon. Every breakfast spot we looked up was closed already until we LUCKILY found country boys restaurants that serves breakfast all day and are open until 8pm. Once we arrived, we quickly noticed it was a Mom and Pops establishment. Which was good on my part because I love Mom and Pop restaurants. I ordered the super omelette which had ham, sausage, cheddar cheese, mushroom onion, and salsa and it came with hash brown and a choice of one side. You could either pick pancakes, French toast, jelly, and toast, fruit grits. They had so many choices to choose from as a side, I decided to replace sausage with bacon and it was absolutely delicious and I also replaced my hash brown with home fries which was really good too. I tried the strawberry French toast, which was absolutely delicious and for lunch. Their cheeseburger and fries were a good go to. The customer service was great and attentive.! It was a really nice and peaceful breakfast spot to go to. I'd highly recommend if you're ever in Phoenix.

Plenty of parking, indoor & outside seating with shade. Good variety of selections, not overwhelming, simple & concise.Sat at the counter, Tara was my server, she is very attentive, friendly with a great smile. Ordered 2 eggs scrambled with sourdough toast, bacon & hashbrowns. Excellent, just like grandma would make, just crispy enough potatoes & perfect bacon. Clean, retro & good!

Not a fan fave but it was okay I probably won't visit again the fries were good but the chicken strips were unseasoned and the French toast was dry the eggs and hash browns were delicious the baked potatoes were burnt. The service was slightly slow but they were trying their best.

The service was fantastic and the food came out quickly. I got The Works Skillet and ordered a side of Andrés Hot pork green chile sauce. It was pretty good, but I think I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict better. My husband got the veggie skillet and he said he loved it. I also got a piece of French toast and that was very good. Overall, great place for breakfast! The portions are huge so come with a hefty appetite!

I came back for the Chicken Fried Steak...AND IT WAS AWESOME! Made with love. I was mildly harassed by one of the members of the wait staff. Made my whole dat. This place has the best chicken fried steak in the land!

Thousands less gallons of water wasted. Our city leaders might secure a future. Iur kegislators think water management a joke. "This place is non descript from the outside. I had to ask where the door was, once inside I felt like a record scratched to a halt.... I seemed to be the only female in the joint outside of the ladies who worked there. Confident in myself, and need for lunch, I walked to the bar and asked if I could just pick a spot. Once in my booth I enjoyed reading all the fun signs, road markers, and checking out the "saloon" style vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and a soda.I wish my soda had been served in a regular cup, but it was in a styrofoam "to go" cup, I'm guessing a COVID shift. Regardless, it was ice cold and refreshing. My food came up quick, which was good because I was hungry and in a hurry. My burger was packed and fresh off the griddle. The cheese was oozing out the sides, shredded lettuce was piled on nicely and chunky grilled onions added a great flavor. Topped with only Mayo, they brought me catsup and mustard to the table to add myself. The burger was really good. Really messy, but good. Just what I would expect! The real star of this plate was the fries. Now I usually lean towards a thick steak fry, but these were skinnier, shoe string shaped French fries. They were crispy and hot and perfectly perfect!Pro tip: this is a casual crowd so better to not enter looking like you just jumped of the plane from LA ;)"
"After driving back from Wilcox early this morning, I checked on Yelp and found this diner serving breakfast. This place reminds me of the many Greek diners in NYC and I immediately felt at home.Valerie was an amazing waitress, brought everything I needed and was very sweet and kind to me.I had a veggie omelet with home fries and rye bread. The rye bread was really amazing and everything else was good as expected! I'll definitely come back again to this place as service was very good and welcoming and the food was pleasant. Thank you for a great Sunday morning breakfast here!"
"Go in and experience Happy's Hamburgers! This place is as incredible as you hear it is. We went here and ordered some burgers, fries, tots and classic Coca-Colas that did not disappoint! The ambiance in this place is incredible. It literally feels like you went back in time to an old-school burger restaurant with the black and white checkerboard floor and the jukebox they have. Loved it!Food came out HOT and tasted delicious! Loved the fries, the burgers (and steamed buns) and service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely be back to try the chilidogs and more burgers! They also have a wide variety of sauces you can get lost in!"
"Great late night spot if you're looking for straightforward food. They took over Welcome Diners original spot and it kinda made me feel nostalgic dining here again. I ordered the brisket sandwiches and although it was good, it was a bit dry and tough. The sidewinder fries were loaded with chilli and toppings. I would definitely order the elote corn ribs again"
"Absolutely incredible. I'm attending FREAK CITY in Pheonix and I've come to this place twice. Delicious mexican and american food, real cooking, friendly service and even a little gift shop. This is a REAL DINER. I had the Caldo de Res one day and the Juevos Rancheros (with hash browns) the next. Don't skip it. Al Pastor also delicious!"
"Food is traditional Mexican, no Taco Bell here. All the plates are amazing, and homemade style dishes. Shredded meat tacos, enchiladas, pozole, menudo, caldo de res, caldo de pollo, huevos a la mexicana, huevos rancheros, steak ranchero, carnitas, chiles rellenos, quesadillas, camarones al mojo de ajo, and more!! I love the complimentary chips and salsa, that salsa is spicy and delicious!!"
""BEST SHAKSHUKA I HAVE EVER HAD!"If you visit this place for the love of everything that is good in this world You have to TRY THE SHAKSHUKA! I'm not exaggerating when I say that this dish is creamy, spicy, tangy, sweet, savory, crunchy! It's everything you will ever want! I will continue to come back to this place just for that dish! Customer service is Super NICE! Salsas are good! The bread that comes with the dish couldn't be more perfect! The tzatziki is cooling and creamy and with the feta cheese it's a perfect combination! Can't wait to be back!"
"If you're looking for some home cooked food with lots of LOVE infused Heart and Soul is the answer. The staff is extremely friendly and has a great vibe. Courtney was my server and an absolute doll!"
"In town for business and was looking for a place for some breakfast that was not a chain.Boy, oh boy, did I find it. I thought a diner would be nice. I never put the name and history together this is until I sat down.Basic American flavor food. This history made the atmosphere cool and Nostalgique. The ladies were great as a team and I had my food in under five minutes.I suggest stopping by when you are in the area for a bit of American tv history."
"This is our nearby diner. It's not at all fancy but it's exactly what I want when we go for breakfast. The food is tasty and the staff is friendly. We had 6 of us and easily found a table for us. This is the kind of place that has regulars who've been coming for years. Quiet and relaxed place with easy parking, very no fuss. Large portions. We shared the Hungry Man breakfast- 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, hash browns, 2 pancakes, and a side of biscuits & gravy. All my faves."
"This little food truck from heaven has been parked across from Driftwood coffee in downtown Peoria. EVERYTHING we have had from this food truck has been perfection. A few are pictured here and others we have tried not pictured are breakfast burrito, berry shortcake, Bronx battleship. My favorite thing is the ranger roll. It's the stuffing from a crab puff with REAL crab! It's literally heaven served up with a sweet chili sauce. The kids said the Mac n cheese was the best they have had and their battleship could feed an army. It's legit a sandwich on a whole loaf of French bread! The owner is super friendly and really has something good going here. Come out and support a local small business!"
"Amazing food which I got from Uber Eats! (Shoutout to Carlita for the fast delivery) Jerk Chicken plate with two sides - perfectly spiced just the way I like it and the sauce went perfectly with the rice and peas. Plaintains we're excellent as well. Chicken was moist and full of that delicious jerk seasoning. Fried tilapia plate - Tasty breaded filet of tilapia with a sweet and spicy sauce! Comes with rice and peas and a salad and wifey loves it.Beef Pattie - like an empanada but better! Full of tasty ground beef and a light pastry outside. I'd eat one of these everyday for lunch! It's clear the food is made with a lotta love here! I really wanna visit in person and have more asap. Really appreciate that they don't tone down the spice and flavor here as well. I wish the owners would adopt me!"
"Food was surprisingly great I really enjoyed my burger and fries. Not bad for a food court restaurant"
"Have not been to Durant in many years. This landmark restaurant has been around for more than 70 years. Still has the old school ambience. Same red decor and entrance through the kitchen.Stopped in for weekday dinner. Service is exceptional. Had a prime rib end cut with baked potato and salad. Shared a calamari appetizer with friend.Food was very good. Prices were moderate to high but comparable to other high end steak houses. Good place for lunch or that special dinner occaision."
"This diner was super cute. Everyone was very friendly and our breakfast came out quick. My omelette and home fries were delicious!"
"Very walkable restaurant in the Melrose district (?) Across from the rainbow crosswalk on glenrosa and central. I had the new York strip medium rare, eggs, and subbed hash browns for their fries. I came in for pickup. Everyone was so so sweet, and the building itself is so cute and cozy. They have live music also. As far as the food:Fries 0/10 very unseasonedSteak 7/10 unseasonedEggs 10/10 Everything was greatly priced tho. And I walked my food home and it was packaged perfectly and withstood the heat. I will try it again but something different next time."
"I have been here many times while visiting town, and each time it has been solid. It's your typical diner in all the ways that could mean. Service is also extremely quick, the food will be at your table within 10 minutes of ordering, usually faster. I have always been for breakfast personally but know they are open for lunch and dinner as well. All the breakfast dishes I have ordered have been great so far and the cinnamon roll is especially decadent and delicious. I will be back many times in the future, each time I visit town."
"I had to comeback. Taste buds and stomach so happy. I like your story of how you came to be thank you for sharing."
"Y is for Yarnell, AZ!Continuing with my alphabet series, the second to last letter of the alphabet, Y, was a tricky one. This is the only letter that is not in MD, VA, or DC. Couldn't come up with anything in my part of the country. Yarnell's slogan according to the sign: 'Where the Desert Breeze meets the Mountain Air.' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yarnell,_ArizonaI'm from AZ, remember when I worked in Prescott, and traveled a few times on that job. One of the times was when I went to the SE part of Yavapai County to an obscure area maybe near Stanton (a ghost town), which was 5 miles down a narrow dirt road with some steep cliffs. Yarnell sits at about 4700' elevation (slightly lower than the mile high city of Prescott) and Stanton is at least 1000' less. So, it was a steep drive down & back up the hill. It had to have been in May 2007...wow 11 years ago. It was sunny & hot that late Spring day...maybe 90 F at Stanton...probably in the low 80's in Yarnell. On the way back to Prescott, I stopped for lunch at the Yarnell Family Diner. I was hungry, and there weren't many choices in Yarnell, a town of only 649 in 2010 census. I remember the sandwich I had was quite good & filing. The staff was friendly."
"This is my next door neighbor's favorite place to eat. We live only 1 mile away. He says everything is good here. I lived in this area since 1995 and for some reason I never ate at Randy's. So I treated my 92-year-old next door neighbor Dave to eat at Randy's.I visited this restaurant in the last 2 months, at least 12 different times, while shopping at Safeway or going to the Leslie's for water test, in order to see what their daily specials were. But I never sat down to eat. This day, Dave was really surprised that the restaurant was so empty, at 5 pm Tues after Christmas. We sure had our pick of tables. So, I already knew what I wanted which was the $19.99 bacon-wrapped filet mignon. It is a special at that price every day and includes soup or salad, hot veggie, potato (which can be upgraded to sweet potato fries for $1), drink (which can include soda at no extra charge), and dessert which is a scoop of ice cream. But if you pay $1.50 upgrade, you could have a slice of pie. All this was so delicious! The cook charbroiled my steak as you can see in the picture, just the way I like it - rare! The sweet potato fries, me and my neighbor said, was the best we ever had in our life! The tomato parmesan soup of the day was also so delicious. He ordered one of the specials of the day $17, Pot Roast, see photo. I tasted it, very soft but I looked at other people's portions, and I felt the pot roast portion would be too small for me, but he couldn't even finish half his meal. I ate 100% of mine, except the pies. I brought the pies home. My neighbor didn't want his pie, so I ordered banana cream pie which is made with real whipped cream and rhubarb pie. I'm going to wait till I buy ice cream at Safeway for 97 cents tomorrow's new ad, to have with my rhubarb pie.My neighbor asked if I would order the filet mignon again another day. I said I will be back next week to have another filet mignon dinner with someone else..... haven't decided who yet. I told him I liked it so much, I wouldn't wanna try something else. I want the filet mignon again and again and again. Our server was very pretty and sweet and always coming back to our table to check on us, almost too much because she interrupted our conversation and train my of thought when she wanted an answer if everything was okay. She forgot our silverware which made us think she was new. My neighbor Dave, who eats at Randy's 1-2 times a week, said he's never seen her, or the other servers who were there on Dec 26. Maybe these were substituting for the regulars who were taking extended holiday vacations. I am so glad my neighbor introduced me to Randy's. Can't believe I missed out on 28 years of eating here, cos that is how long I lived within walking distance."
"As soon as I walked in, I felt like I traveled to somewhere in the Midwest. I love their classy diner style decor. Food is also reminds me of my Midwest days. I tried their country style steak for my breakfast. I loved the flavor of the gravy. I also liked the fact they had apple butter jam for my toast. It reminded me how I used to love my mother in law's homemade jam and breakfast, and I felt like I was back in her house.Service was exceptional. My server was friendly but not only that, the entire staff worked so hard to take care of all the customers. In fact I couldn't remember which one was my server was because so many others stopped by to refill coffee or something. Price was very affordable. In fact, I felt like they haven't raised price for 20 years! They accept credit card but since I saw many other customers leaving a cash tip, I did the same. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this diner for breakfast."
"Great Friendly DinerNot sure what took me so long to visit Welcome Diner, I've passed by so many times. I'm so glad I stopped today. Welcome Diner has a nostalgic feeling and an outdoor pet friendly, patio makes for a casual and comfortable dining experience. Our meals and service went beyond our expectations. Everything was perfectly delicious and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. On this visit I ordered the Welcome breakfast (two eggs, seasoned potatoes, and homemade biscuit) and my lunch companion had the the Jose burger (which he said was one of the best he has ever had) with fries (the very skinny kind). Everything was fresh, made to order, well seasoned, and served pipping hot.As full as we were, we still made room to share a slice of their Salted Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie Slice, all I have to say is, leave room for the pie!"
